This was my first experience using Greers Flooring in Evansville. It definitely will not be my last. Bill at Greers was/is GREAT!! He always returned my calls promptly (if he couldnt pick up when I called) and acted as a true professional in all aspects of the project. The installers showed up exactly when I was told they would and did an excellent job of removing the old flooring and installing the new flooring. They installed about 2000 sq ft of flooring. Greers is definitely a keeper in my books!

Greers just finished up my new flooring today and I couldnt be happier! They made the whole process so easy from beginning to end. I visited several flooring stores in the area and no could beat their customer service or selection. Mike H. was so helpful and patient with me as I picked out what I wanted. The installers were just as great! Randy and Ryne did a fantastic job on my vinyl flooring and Eddie, Dwayne, and Mike K. were just as great installing my carpet. They all communicated very well with me throughout the process. Highly recommend!

Brad and Jon put down our flooring in both bathrooms and hallway. They also carpeted 3 bedrooms and the living room. Both of them were so professional and their expertise was impeccable! I am very pleased with the work they completed and also how nice and helpful they were to us. In addition, they vacuumed our carpet when it was done and they swept up everything as they were working. We had an awesome experience with getting our brand new flooring installed through Greers. We replaced the flooring in our entire home with it being roughly half luxury vinyl and half new carpet. Brad and John worked with us on the installation and they were AWESOME. Brad and Dwayne installed LVP flooring in our master bedroom and bath and the same LVP in our kitchen. It looks beautiful. We were extremely happy with their work (5 stars)! They were both very professional, efficient, effective, and pleasant to talk to. It took them one and a half days to complete the work.We were not happy with the communication of the schedule to us. Someone (not Amanda, the usual scheduler) told us that the work would start on Monday, August 9th and that the workers would be here around 8:30. At 10, when no one showed, I called and talked to Amanda, who just returned from vacation. She said the schedule clearly showed that Brad and Dwayne would be starting Wednesday, August 11th. We lived with our deconstructed bedroom and kitchen for 2 unnecessary days. Irritating, but not devastating, since we are retired, but this would have been bad if we had taken off of work if we were working. (2 stars)So...it averages out to a 3.5. Since we were happy with the final work, were rounding up to 4 stars. Do better with your communication to future customers please. We are sending our daughter and son-in-law to you for more work since they really liked the final product we received. Make sure you treat them right!

Chris and Tracy installed a carpet runner on our front stairway. They were on time, courteous, and accurate. They had to figure the pattern, and then cut the runner. They covered my rugs because if the rain, and cleaned up after they were done.

Get everything in writing! We ordered the same flooring through the entire house along with padding. We made three trips to the store before making the purchase. The sales lady stated we could return any full boxes. When we went to order, the sales lady was out sick but another gentleman took our order. We discussed overages for scrap and settled on 20% instead of 10% because again it was stated we could return unopened boxes.After install we took back four boxes unopened (about the additional 10% suggested to order). The original sales lady was called to the front and stated You cant return these. They were cash and carry. We stated we were told we could return unopened boxes by her and another. She quickly turned very snippy with I did NOT tell you that!.Get everything in writing or go somewhere else. Once they get your money Im pretty certain the customer services stop along with any future warranty issues that will come up.GET IT IN WRITING. Very disappointed in the rude and angry customer service. I suggest you look elsewhere in Evansville for flooring.

Greer’s did about half of our house during a big water damage restoration in 2019. They did great work alongside the main contractor. A few months later, we started having some buckling issues. Even though there was some back & forth about whether it was a Greer’s issue, a contractor issue (who worked on the foundation underneath) or a Mohawk product issue, Greer’s kept checking on it and still eventually replaced the ENTIRE floor for us for free with a different product in 2020. Everything is now fabulous. Jaima and her team were responsive and great to work with. Plus, they donate to the nonprofit I work for. Thank you Greer’s!

We just had our home flooring done by Greer. The shopping experience was easy and a variety of products were discussed to help in making our decision.Derek and Stanley were our installers. They are very experienced and have a strong work ethic. They care about the customer and the product they are installing. They are detail oriented and gladly answer questions. We really appreciate their hard work in ensuring the end product was beautiful.We are so pleased we chose Greer.

Very disappointed in the service! I was a walk in, placed an order and paid cash. The order was supposed to be in the store in 7-10 days. It took over 3 weeks. We installed it ourselves. We had two boxes to return. We took them back to return (on a Saturday).The lady at the desk said the sales lady would call me Monday morning to discuss the return. I did not receive a call Monday. I called the sales ladys cell phone and left a message on Monday. Tuesday no response so I called the ladies cell phone and left another message. No response. I called the store and left a message with the lady at the front desk. Finally I received a return call, after leaving three messages.The sales lady proceeded to tell me they will receive my return with 25% restocking fee and $100 freight charge. NO WHERE on the receipt says anything about restocking fee and freight charge! I was willing to pay a restocking fee but not a freight charge. I asked to speak to the manager. She told she was it. She was not willing to negotiate. She told me she would contact the manufacturer and see what they say, and I would receive a returned call in 24 hours. STILL no return call!!!!! Very disappointed with Greers!!!!

We worked with Greers for a recent update of our house. Greers installed new flooring throughout the house and installed Marble Tile back splash in our Kitchen and Bathrooms. We worked with Christi in the showroom. She is excellent with providing knowledge and assisting in the planning process. The flooring crew was led by Brian, who showed expertise and professionalism. The Marble tile back splash was installed by Craig, who is very skilled and exceeded my expectations for finish work. Overall, excellent customer service.

After much research on LVP floors, we chose, Greers COREtec Pro, flooring for our kitchen & bath. Every step of the process the entire staff was so pleasant to work with. I had two professional, very nice installers from Greers Flooring (Chris and Tracy). They were punctual, friendly, thorough, and knew what they were doing. I had carpet throughout my home and they installed LVP (wood) Kardean flooring in my living, dining, family rooms, office, hallway and foyer. AWESOME job! They moved everything in each room, and placed everything back exactly as it was. My floors looked AMAZING. I was so pleased that I had them come back to lay LVT (tile) in my kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, and sunroom. NO COMPLAINTS. Excellent work! They came Highly recommended, and now I will Highly recommend them. They are an asset to Greers Flooring. I believe in giving credit when due. These gentlemen deserve it. We shopped at Greers in the hopes of replacing carpeting in two bedrooms and a hallway and purring hardwood flooring in our great room/living room. Sadly, they did not provide any pricing guidelines on any products on display, no service from staff, and when asked about pricing on a hardwood floor the counter person had difficulty finding it. Was very disappointed.

Greers sent me a flyer in the mail saying 50% off flooring store wide for a Presidents Day Weekend Sale. We are wanting to install hardwood in two more rooms in our house so we hired a baby sitter for our kids to make the trip to the store and pick out our flooring. When we found a floor sample we liked, I asked the sales person about the 50% off sale and she looked at me like she didnt know what I was talking about. She then pulled a flyer off her own desk and I showed here where it said 50% off store wide this weekend only. She asked us to wait while she went back to ask someone else working at the store if it was correct. She then came back and proceeded to tell me that the sale was only for items in stock in the warehouse. The flyer does not say that anywhere, not even in the fine print. I dont appreciate false advertising to get people into your store so Ill take my business elsewhere!

I had been looking to replace my carpet for awhile. I shopped around and decided on vinyl plank flooring. After some hiccups with the initial ordering and measuring process (due to a new associate navigating a learning curve), the installation went smoothly. The two installing our flooring (Chris and Tracey) were so kind and helpful, as well as reassuring, as I was nervous about turning the house upside down before and during the installation. They went the extra mile for us, and because of that our new flooring looks amazing! Thanks again, Chris and Tracey!

Amanda Oller is a top-notch manager...this was our first time doing business with Greers and I was very satisfied with the customer service. I own a small construction company and I was installing a laminate floor that the customer purchased at Greers. We had a slight glitch with the threshold pieces but Amanda jumped right in and gave some professional advice on the situation. We were able to save the customer time and money. Her kindness and understanding for the situation did not go unnoticed and we will be referring our customers to her in the future. Way to go Amanda...you are an asset to Greers Flooring for sure!

Very POOR customer service and communication. It took eight days to floor a small bathroom. I called repeatedly for information and calls were not returned in a timely manner.There was a charge of $345 to remove and reinstall only the pedestal under the lavatory - ridiculous price, especially as it was not level when reinstalled and I took it out and put it back myself. The charge for the toilet was $175, which was reasonable.Contract often uses the word replace - they do not replace, they reinstall. They were going to reinstall the old trim and quarterround, which was in poor condition. Therefore, I had an additional charge for new trim - since the contract says replace, one would expect it to be replaced with new wood.Workmen did not lay down floor runners, just tracked grass and dirt through the house.Used our vacuum and trash receptacle the second day - shouldnt they bring their own?Did absolutely no clean up on the final day, leaving much scrap and residue in the shower, floor, heating/air duct, and hallway. Did not take all trash with them where they worked outside.Full price had to be paid upfront. Most companies only ask for 50% down, therefore, I felt I had no leverage with the company to get the job completed.Doesnt even warrant a one star rating. DONT do business with this company.

We went there on a Saturday and had the best experience! Thank you for your help Jaima and the staff for helping us with our flooring options all while helping entertain our three kids! Jaima was knowledgeable and made it fun.Follow up review👎They had our house plans and sent a guy to measure each room. They ended up over measuring one set of tiles by several boxes and under measuring another set of tiles by several boxes. They refuse to credit us for the tile we payed for based of their own measurements. We have to pay more for the tile that they under measured. When we’ve called to discuss the new orders, they don’t return phone calls.This has delayed our builders and us moving into our home. Great service up until they have your money. Jaima knows her stuff and it seems everyone there relies completely on her, so when she isn’t there, the doors might as well be shut and phones turned to voicemail.Addendum: Jaima came back from vacation and took care of some of the issues. She is good, but couldn’t turn back time to fix the delay the measurement and delayed shipping cost in moving into our home,

When I went into Greers I was actually shocked at how large the place was and how many different types of merchandise they offered. I expected floor covering but I didnt know they had cabinets, bathroom vanities, marble tops, appliances, cabinet hardware, and the list goes. The service was professional and the service was wonderful. Amanda Oller and Kristy Jones both assisted my wife and I. They were helpful in every way and a delight to do business with. Whenever I need something future wise this is where I am going to head. Did I say that I bought two (2) double sink bath with marble tops? They were better quality and a better price than Lowes, Menards, or Home Depot. We also purchased luxury vinyl tile that we love. Greers also has a larger selection than the big box stores. They are top drawer. Dont take my word for it but check them out for yourself and see if you arent as surprised as we were.

Terrible customer service! Went and ordered carpet in January. I was told 2-4 weeks for install. After 4 months of no call and no installation, I called and asked for a refund. Not only were they unapologetic, they were completely rude and told me it was MY responsibility to call them to schedule the installation. I will advise everyone I know to avoid doing business with Greers!
