Spent $16 on wash, doesnt do all that great. Ill stay to my hand washing. Dirt still all over car and fender walls. Didnt spray but few seconds off front of my SUV but guts still on after the wash. Didnt even try use scrubber or spray. To the owner yes, I do keep washed regularly. I been cleaning cars and detailing for over 15 years. I was just using service to try get clean before my wedding day. I had already had majority of bugs and dirtt off day prior. I clean it couple times a week. But wasnt worth the $. Ill stay to cleaning it myself.

This is in a big touristy area. Actually went to a couple of different car wash areas to only realize they wanted you to pay for vacuum service? Im sorry but free vacuuming is an industry standard Ive come to enjoy in the Chicago and Peoria regions. Ill only wash my car in such areas. Look no further go to Shine on Express if you need a car wash or car vacuum.

When I went to shine on express car wash it was easy to get to. This staff was friendly. And the vacuums were super convenient to be able to use a. I love going through shine on carwash.

This is an automated car wash with all the special coatings, rinses, cleaning and drying brushes. It was the worse car wash I ever received. I paid for the $20 works—full meal. The young lady sitting in the chair, as you drive into the wash, just pointed to the sign for neutral no brakes please. She did no pressure spray for bugs or using the brush or mop to loosen things up. No cleaning of windshield. Nothing. Then the first thing I notice was strip curtain had seen its better days. The cleaning rotating brushes were just about equally bare. I have been through many car washes. Regardless of what I paid for, the dispensing of the soap was it. There was no other coating or rinse assistance. At the end only one of the three drying brushes were functioning. The one on the driver’s side moved in but did not spin. And those rags were far from riches. I left with dirty wheels, streaked dingy exterior and bug smeared windshield. I have never given a review this negative. Sorry I had to.

Monthly fee user. I run through every time Im close. Nice people. Doesnt dry completely so I keep a towel on the car to wipe down. Overall, totally worth it.

Paid $16 dollars for a carwash today, it was a waste of money, first the attendant just a took a second maybe two to spray no more than a quart of water on front, hood and windshield - no brush or scrubbing before entering, then immediately notice that all the mechanical scrub brushes in the middle are wore out and just barely touched the roof of the Hyundai Elantra we were driving which is less than 60 in height ! Bugs were left all over windshield and front. Oh and if you want to have your vehicle dried off you are asked to upgrade from a hair dryer to a real blower for an extra $3 dollars - what a rip ! Its been awhile - lots of changes, Used to come here a lot in the past, even after Mikes opened up- not anymore, not after this and what I have seen, next time I will not waste my money here, Ill wait in line at Mikes or find somewhere else to go.

I had an issue and called customer service. I was told there was nothing they could do for me. I said, I guess you do not appreciate my business. So I just wanted to let others know that they do not care. They just want you to pay whether they give you service or not.

I love this place!! I went through the carwash right before they closed and my tires were still dirty. Alex offered to hand shine them for me, and they were already closed. He did an awesome job and I appreciate the over the top customer service! I love my membership here, such a great deal and nice people.

I would like to give a 5 Star Shout out to a employee named Hue.on the east side. My wife and I have had both our vehicles as memberships for the unlimited platinum wash for two years at this location.frequently we talk to each other about how they barely spray your car with the pressure hose and 95% of the time just spray one side. . Today was the first time in 2 years that my truck and windshield was sprayed off and cleaned like it was the employees car. Thanks again Hue for doing the little extra things.you are definitely worth more money and should be doing all the new hire training.

We have used this car wash for years and they’ve done such a great job and making sure to scrub the front of your car before it goes through. Normally we have great service but the past few times we have gone we still have bugs on the front of our cars. It doesn’t look like it’s even been washed.

I have the shine on unlimited wash. I went here because both locations are close to a Lowe’s which I frequent daily. Both locations have a friendly and hardworking staff. However, the west side ( university drive) location is far superior for some reason? The wash is so much better. The east side location leaves a film and white spots every time. It’s gotten to the point where I avoid using the east side location because it’s a waste of time and leaves my vehicle looking worse than it did before I drove through. It’s almost like its washing with dirty water. It’s has been this way for months, maybe the machine needs recalibrated?

Very poor quality wash. My vehicle was still dirty. Brushes didn’t even touch the passenger side. After two attempts they suggested I cancel my subscription and gave me the office number. No one answers and I’ve requested call backs twice to no response. Just a scam at this point. Never go there.

They continued to charge my wife and I after cancelling the membership. They also created a second account on my car somehow and based on past experience will have to fight to get my money back. They will scam you, and customer service cant help. You have to deal with them via email.

Could do better. Road is terrible to drive on. A lot of potholes. The vacums sometimes work sometimes they dont.

This wash does an ok job. Does not get many bugs off the front and always leaves a dirty area along the bottom and near my side mirrors on my highlander. Rest looks really good and have not noticed many water spots. Vacuums seem to work pretty good.

My review is for the service received last night and today by a man named Hugh I believe. Hands down the best job anyone has done here since I have been coming! The man takes pride in his work. He deserves a raise! Keep up the good work, sir.

Terrible my truck was worse then before the car wash the Cloth dryer things at the end of the car wash wasnt even working the one that was working it smudged the front window all up, There was water spots all over the truck. For a $30.00 wash sure wasnt worth it. I canceled the subscription immediately !

Probably wont be back at this point. Its been a disappoinment the last couple of time. This time I paid $16 for a car wash and got what seemed like a $5 wash. I couldnt tell any difference. They only sprayed part of one side of my vehicle at the beginning. When I came out my vehicle was still wet, everwhere. Still bugs on the windshield and front including the grill. There are a couple other places with washes that are the same or less expensive and they are far superior. Id say avoid it unless you get the cheapest wash and have low expectations.

Will not go back to this place... I paid For a car wash the cost of which was $20.. However after going through the car wash my car was still wet and my tires did not have the shine that they should have had going through with this particular type of wash. According to the employee that I spoke with it equipment was not functioning functioning as it should. Why would the employees fail to inform customers that they were unable to get all services due to equipment failure. I was allowed its allowed to go through the wash cycle again.. I was not satisfied with the wash. My car was very wet (windows ended up with spots) the tires were not shiny as they normally would be had the equipment been functional. Very disappointing 😞

The car wash experience here was pretty good. As I was going through the wash an attendant was on the inside and motioned me to go back around again. When I got through with that wash I looked at the vehicle and noticed what area he was motioning to have done again. This time they spent extra time on the prewashing which got the auto nice and clean

I wont go back here! I usually wash my own car, however because it was to cold out I drove my car thru the wash to get the bugs and salt off . I got the $12 wash and there were still bugs and salt all over my vehicle. When I told the attendant he told me well our wash is not perfect and wasnt very friendly however he did run me back thru a second time. Even then the second time thru it still didnt get stuff off! Next time ill go to Mikes or Royal Express on the west side. This place was a complete waste of money.

Awful. I went through one day and the track knocked my hub cap off. I filed an incident report with the employee on shift and they assured me that the manager would reach out. That was June 18th. Ive contacted them 6 times since then and assured each time that I would hear from the manager. I never have. Awful awful service and communication. I will be trying yet again today. Two months later...

Its a great car wash as far as how well system works. Better than average dryers as well. Vacuums are strong and excellent place to finish car. But Im a monthly pass client. And that system no longer works. Very frustrating to have to wait 3-4 cars till someone can come over to override code readers. Fix this problem as Ive told many of your employees who are just as frustrated as I am!!!!!!!!!!

Great friendly place

Often undermanned. When ONE guy is supposed to direct the car into the tunnel AND use the power wash wand on wheels, lower body, and windows, he cant do it all so only one side of the car gets the pretreatment.

Poor customer care. Their wash popped the plastic on my mirror. I didnt notice it until 10 minutes later. They told me I must have done it in those 10 minutes. I have been a customer of theirs since they have opened. Sad they treat loyal customers that way. Guess I have to take my business elsewhere for now on.

The staff is composed of the nicest kids. Very polite and helpful. Defiantly not a job for a person who doesnt want to work. On average, I wash my car once a month at Shine On. Less in the winter. My paint/windshield has never been scratched nor has my paint ever fallen off my vehicle. I have even bought gift certificates for my parents to have their cars washes here and they were very impressed. Thank you Shine On!

West side is nice. East Side never has properly working vacuums that actually have suction to clean carpets. Carpet cleaner never working. Ive been charged twice a month with no answer why or how it happened. No working phone number and management Lies about getting things sorted out. NO WAY TO COMMUNICATE WITH ANYONE IN THE BUSINESS. Avoid east side at all cost and be prepared to just lose out if there is any issues with overpaying or being charged for something multiple times in a month, when the subscribers are only to pay every 30 days. Even the employees will tell you that youre better off just going to the west side location for good service. But still they also dont have a number or anyone they KNOW is designated to help customers with troubles.

Please do not give Shine On car wash West your business. Last Sunday my mirror was damaged. I made a report. I was told I would be contacted Monday or Tuesday. Didn’t happen. I tried calling all week with no answer. Finally I went in this morning and was told they were not doing anything to fix the problem. I was also told that it couldn’t have been damaged if the car was on the track. Well..... it was. The manager also said they get to customer complaints as soon as they can. 5 days? I guess they have a lot of complaints to get to. Bad customer service will ruin a business.

Best cost /benefit ratio for monthly car wash. $12.95 month unlimited basic car washes and free vacuum. The suction on the vacuums could be stronger and they could offer towels to finish drying your car, but for the price its a winner. If you need to keep a clean car this is a budget friendly option.

I often go to this business to get a car wash because the wash is adequate for my needs. It is also quick and cheap for a basic wash. No hassle and the staff are always friendly. Since they took out the automated kiosk and put a person out there I often feel sorry for those guys because it is terribly hot to stand there for hours. However, they always seem very nice and no complaints or attitudes.My only reason for not giving a 5 star rating is that the vacuums really stink. Had they worked, youd have got 5. They simply dont work well most of the time. On several occasions Ive had to move to two different stations to find one that picks up the stuff in my car. I always pick up large pieces of trash and toss it but youd think things like dirt, mud, straw papers and french fries every family car has would be easy for these machines. Theyre not. In face, a lot one get picked up. So, I had to come home and pull out my machine and clean the car. I guess I could have washed it at home too and cooled off while I was doing it and save my $6.Since I like having someone else doing it, Ill keep using the wash but the rating wont get better until the vacuums are better.

I was in town the week of Thanksgiving visiting family and decided to get my SUV cleaned on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We arrived around 5:00 and paid $15.00 to get it washed. I went back to my parents house and noticed there was still dirt on the front, sides and back of my vehicle. Also, the rims were still dirty as well. When I pulled up to the drive-thru, two young guys were rushing around my vehicle with the brushes instead of taking more time. At the time I was the only person getting my car washed. Tried to call the car wash at least a dozen times to try and speak to the Manager, but got a busy signal every time. Whats the point in having a business phone if its going to be busy all of the time. Decided to give up. I will not be returning ever and I also passed along my experience to my friends and family during my visit. Hopefully, they will not waste there money on this car wash either.

This review regards the West side car wash. It was Wednesday, 8:30 PM. No cars in the car wash or in the vacuum lot. I pulled in to vacuum some crumbs on my driver’s side floorboard. It’s dark and it’s quiet and I am alone. Suddenly there’s a guy standing by my car asking if I’m a member. Really startled me. I screamed. No apologies for scaring me. I told him I’ve been a customer forever and showed him my card of prepaid washes. And he said I couldn’t use the vacuum without a wash. I said no problem and drove off. But I do have a problem with that. An hour later I’m still shaken from him scaring me. I’ve been using Shine On ever since they came to Evansville off Burkhardt. And now I’m moving to the west side and have been using the west side location. He doesn’t know how many times I’ve went thru the car wash without even using the vacuum. It didn’t matter to him. He just wanted to see a membership card. Bad treatment of a loyal customer!
