Best barber shop Ive ever been to. Clean, very cool atmosphere, and Nolan was great work with. He had good recommendations and I couldnt be happier with the haircut and beard trim I received. He has my business from here on for sure!

I scheduled a 12 o’clock, at 12 o’clock another guy who the barber knew took my seat. I had scheduled a beard lineup with a straight razor. The straight razor was never done. The fade is poor, you can see the transition lines clearly. They didn’t clean up my eyebrows or nose. The shop takes shortcuts and doesn’t really care about the quality of the cut just on to the next customer.

The owner is a marvelously talented stylist. Very satisfied with his work. The shop itself is unique and inviting showing artistic and nastalgic touches.

Not going to lie, that was the best haircut I have EVER had. Nolan is a master of his craft. He listened intently and gave me exactly what I wanted.I travel to major cities quite often and have paid much more than this price of admission. This young man is going places and you will not be disappointed.

Best barber hands down out of Indiana, and also better than the barbers Ive been to in Louisiana, Alabama, Spain, France and Georgia (state). Yeah... theyre that good. Nolan was my barber, always greeted me with a warm welcome and a fresh beverage.Any style I wanted, he executed perfectly and knew what was in my mind. Service wasnt slow either, even if they were busy.The shop is always clean and organized; with comfortable seating and a big TV with good shows. I HIGHLY recommend going to InterPro for your next trim.

Ive been getting haircuts, beard trims, and shaves from Nolan the whole time hes been here, and I will not go to anyone else ever again. He does a great job (which is not easy with my unruly hair and beard), and he also makes it an enjoyable experience that I look forward to. The whole place is comfortable and inviting, and everybody in there knows how to have a fun conversation. Its not just a service, its an experience, and I recommend it.

Nolan has given me the best haircut I’ve ever had BY FAR. His ability to be attentive to detail, carry a conversation making you feel comfortable and giving you EXACTLY what you want stands above all others.The best customer service I’ve ever received. This place is fantastic. Great and relaxing environment with complimentary drinks. The owner, Kale, was booked throughout the day when I showed up, but was willing to stay after hours to help out a new customer like myself. As a black male, I have only been to barber shops and gotten cut by black males. But Im new to the area and I figured Id give this place a chance and this is honestly one of the best haircuts Ive ever had.I recommend this place to anyone of any race or color. They will take care of you. Make sure you call ahead, this guy is in high demand, and for good reason.

Made an appointment and signed up for what I thought was a haircut and beard trim. The names of the services were misleading and vague. I had apparently signed up for a haircut and a traditional shave that was supposed to take an hour and was as expensive as the haircut. I explained what I wanted and Blaine tried to accommodate, understanding my needs. However, the manager/owner pushed him to stop talking me out of services...IN FRONT OF ME!! The manager/owner was trying to take advantage of my ignorance of their services due to the vague descriptions. I walked out. Blaine was giving me good customer service. The manager was trying to make a few extra bucks. Well, not only did they lose my business today, but they lost my business going forward and the business I would have also given them through bringing my two boys there. They essentially lost a long-term customer over a $40/50 service I didnt want. Blaine should go work somewhere else. The manager/owner needs to take an economics course. Really disappointing business model they have.

I dont live in Evansville, but I make it a point to stop in for a haircut at Vbar every time I visit. Every time Ive been there, I get the best haircut Ive ever had. They keep notes on your style and preferences and seem to know what I mean even when I dont know exactly how I want my hair to look.Additional upsides: Free drink, movie playing, and the guys have great personality and hold great conversation while cutting your hair. All this for only a few dollars more than what you pay at those crappy chain salons.

Been coming to see Kale and getting great cuts for over seven years. Will be bring my son here too one day.

This is not a barber shop and they should not advertise that they are. I was told I would have to go online and make an appointment, and they were booked 2 weeks in advance. This is a beauty shop and they are stylists. There were 2 men in the barberchairs... in a real barber shop... I would be next. All barber shops are first come, first serve. Not this one. Sore its nice and all... but. Sorry, Im not pretty enough to warrant waiting 2 weeks for a hair-do. Never seen a man who was.

I took both of my sons to Vbar after moving to Evansville and they both got the best haircuts they have ever had. The vibe is very metropolitan. Watching the brothers cut hair was like poetry in motion. They are truly masters of the trade and love what they do.

InterPro is amazing. This was my first trip to an actual barber and it was phenomenal. Kale did an amazing job and got me out of the same hairdo Id been sporting for the past 15+ years. The ambiance of the shop is nothing Ive experienced before, the perfect blend of comfort, style, modern vibes and rustic undertones, and you cant ignore the overall manliness. Cant wait to book my next appointment. Oh! And his custom vacuum clipper system was awesome, totally eliminated my biggest pet peeve of getting hair cut (the dreaded hair-in-shirt-collar itch).UPDATE: Kale even encouraged me to stop back by so he could show me how again after I couldnt get my new doo to match how it looked when I left. Went to Kahlei for about a year and half and was switched over to Justin this past week when he took over her spot. He gave a great cut and great customer service.

I was looking for a place to get my hair cut since the person I normally go to was booked up for months. I happened to be driving around downtown and noticed there sign outside that said walk ins welcome, so I decided to stop. I wish I wouldnt have, they took one look at my hair cut and told me they were not a salon and only do mens hair cuts... My hair is a mens style haircut, it just had gotten a little long and scruffy on the top. I proceeded to tell them I just really needed the sides shaved and just a trim, but to no avail. They just looked at me like I was stupid. So I do not recommend going to them if you are a woman with short hair, they seem to be very sexist and uninviting...

Place was very clean. Everyone walked out with a good haircut. The sign is misleading though. They are working on getting a new one.

I was expecting a high-end barber shop of the type Im accustomed to finding in larger cities, but was sadly disappointed.It wasnt a barber shop at all but a trendy salon. All in all it was a very negative experience.

I had my first experience with Vbar yesterday and can say that I am extremely pleased. This was the first time i have gotten my hair cut by a man (my aunt has cut my hair for free for years) and I couldnt be more happy. Aaron took the time to talk to me about what I wanted, suggested a few things to try and made sure I was happy with the lengths all the way through the cut. He took notes on length of my hair and the way I liked it cut, he said they keep a file on each customer so they know exactly what they did on prior cuts and it helped with trying new things out. I will be a return customer for sure.Price for the cut was $18.00. I also picked up some liquid pommade he suggested which was $16.00. Very reasonably priced in my opinion. Very professional and fun to talk to.
