Like the other post, we sent the subpoena to the Humboldt Sheriffs civil division over a month before trial. Called the civil division 10 days before trial to verify it had been served. They hadnt even tried!!! The witness worked a few blocks from the Sheriffs office. Told us if we wanted it served we should hire a process server. So we did-Ryan. Emailed the subpoena to him and two hours later he called to report the witness had been served. If you want something served in Humboldt County California, skip the sheriff department and contact Ryan. Professional and reliable. Thanks, Ryan!!!
