I was a long time member and paid them a lot of money and finally I left. I got tired of complaining about broken equipments, empty paper towels/sanitizer bottles, bunch of distractions just whole place was gross. I noticed People not wiping down the machines after using them. Employees don’t do anything just sit around on their phones. I saw their recent advertisement on Facebook and thought might be worth giving it another chance. I met up with Mike/Fitsmart Coach. What a jerk! I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone!

Very rarely do I leave google reviews but this one deserves to be put out there. We had a month to month before the shutdown. Their official policy is 30 days prior you have to go in to their facility in person and cancel. I thought, ok, since that’s impossible at the moment, no business would charge us because we couldn’t come in and cancel our membership. And if they did I’m sure they would refund it. I see a charge on the account, and I decide to call in to ask about getting it refunded, they were closed for months and this seems like something any good business would do. I’m greeted by Daniel. I ask him about it and he says it’s against their policy to refund anything. I ask if they were closed how was I supposed to cancel my membership? This seems completely fair to me, Daniel tells me that there is nothing he can do. I ask to speak with somebody who can. Again same response. I’m a little frustrated by this situation. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. I would love to get in Contact with Troy to resolve this.

The biggest problem I have is with the equipment. This will be my 4th renewal and if the location was not convenient, I would not join again. All of the equipment is very old and breaks frequently. To make matters worse, when I bring this to the attention of management, very often nothing happens. Some machines have not been working properly for years. It appears that many of the cushions on the equipment have never been changed. The only change I can see made by the new owners is the flooring. While that is important, this is a gym and the equipment needs to be updated.

I went in last May to cancel my membership at the height of the pandemic. Filled out the paperwork and was told that it would be processed at their office and nothing could be cancelled at the gym. The club never processed the paperwork and I was told there was nothing they could do since I didn’t sign an electronic document (there wasn’t one when cancelling). Nothing can be done over the phone so for a second time have to go in to fill out paperwork. Hopefully the club follows through on their end this time around.

Nice people and decent equipment. Crowded at most times of day, except early afternoon and late evenings. People camp on machines and text/surf visit more than any gym I’ve used. It’s a culture thing. I was in the gym for an hour and ten minutes today trying to super-set with short rest intervals. One guy, a regular, was on one machine for 40 minutes. He’d been on the second machine for 30 minutes when I left β€” for a total of four sets in an hour and ten minutes... lift for 40 seconds, then sit and text for 10 to 15 minutes, then repeat. A woman on a neighboring machine was texting with six or eight minutes between sets. That’s their routine, and the gym culture there tolerates it β€” so it’s not a great place to rip through an intense workout. You constantly have to ask people to get up so you can work in. If you’re about exercise and fitness, and you want access to machines, this isn’t a great fit β€” but there are lots of nice people to visit with.

Had it not been for the convenience of this gym I’d had quit this gym a while ago.Poor, broken down equipment, dirty locker rooms, unfriendly, flippant staff.A rough crowd attends this gym. Hopefully no one is ever menaced in this gym as history shows the staff will not defend their members.I think it’s no secret this gym had three locations and now only one (which has made it even more packed and dirty). Reducing from 3 to one was definitely not due to success.I hesitate to recommend the much cleaner gym with top-notch equipment off of Centennial out of fear it will become packed... but...

This gym cares nothing about their customers! They don’t mind ripping us off at all. When Gateway closed, they allowed us to use another gym for a couple months. However now I am forced to go all the way to Eugene in the highest traffic area of town to work out because I paid for a year-long membership. It’s completely inconvenient to my work and to my home, but they refused to give any refund or allow me to transfer my membership to a family member who does the use of facilities. So now I am out six months of pre-paid membership for a gym that I refuse to use because the class schedule is uninteresting, the facility is run down, and the overall feel is cheap compared to other gyms in the area. Furthermore, they don’t even have the same facilities as the other location in Springfield. There is no sauna, no pool, no steam room, yet they expect me to go to the gym on Delta and be satisfied, like nothing happened. They made a huge mistake by letting Gateway go. It was a much better gym. Don’t waste your money. The Delta fitness management are charlatans and the staff knows it. Many of them are now at Village Fitness. If you can’t keep your staff or customers satisfied, you should expect to go out of business. There are WAY better options out there. If you can’t afford Village, Pursue is very similar to the Gateway location (minus the pool) but has extremely helpful and accommodating staff. This gym used to be pretty good. The price was right (less than $20 per month) and it wasnt too crowded (Gateway). This price included use of other International Fitness gyms. They went under new management in late 2018 and prices went up, nearly $30 a month, and that is only for use of one club. Before there were discounts (pay up front, etc.), now those are pretty much gone. The club has also gotten worse. Since there is nobody on the floor (all the employees sit at the desk near the front), the gym is a mess--people dont re-rack weights, other are grunting and howling and making loud noises (trying to draw attention and distracting others), and still others just drop and throw the weights. Nobody that works there cares and if they are, they dont anything, yet, they have all these signs around the club not to take selfies. Finally, the lockers are mess, few people use gym towels to wipe down equipment, and the bathrooms are gross. Sorry, I used to really like this gym but since the new management, the quality is not worth the price of the dues. After more than 5 years, Im going to have to find another place to work out.

This is a pretty decent sized gym for the Eugene area. Lots of machines and a decent amount of free weights, but youre SOL if you wanna do compound lifts. I think they have 1 bench and 2 squat racks, and almost no space for deadlifts. Since they do have a lot of machines, they attract a lot of gym rats, so the 2 squat racks they do have are always hogged by folks with 0 gym etiquette. Tonight there was a guy circuit training with the squat rack in his circuit. What the ever-loving-hell. A to be unnamed gym nearby, which barely costs more, and is less than half the size, has twice the squat racks and benches. Unless youre incredibly cheap, or just want to pull cables to isolate your biceps (bro), you can easily find a much better gym in Eugene.

This gym is very frustrating. These are the main reasons: they closed down a gym and the traffic has increased significantly at the gym on Green Acres without allowing for more equipment to be brought in. I often have to wait for treadmills in the morning (infuriating and frustrating for someone trying to get to work) and the equipment they do have is OFTEN broken. As I am at the gym today, there are 5 treadmills down out of 12. The staff is wonderful, but their hands our bound as far as what they can do until the owner decides to bring in more equipment and fix what he has. It’s a great location so I hope they can start providing equipment that works and allows for the patron numbers they have seen since December.

I started a weight loss journey last August and have been successful at taking off a bunch of weight. I decided, in February, that it was time to incorporate exercise into my routine, to burn fat, build muscle and stay stable and mobile while aging. So, I joined International Fitness Delta. I paid for a years membership and let them know that I would like to hire a personal trainer. When I went for my first appointment, I was met by Eric, their GM. He did an evaluation and we scheduled for 3x per week. Eric stated to me that he was recruited by the owner of the club and they had an agreement that he could take on some personal clients. So, when I wrote a check for $1,320.00, I asked what happens if you decide to leave the gym. He stated it wasnt an issue, he had purchased a home and had no plans to go anywhere and if he did, he would take me with him. I felt a bit uneasy, but went with it. NOTE: Listen to your gut!!!! Moving forward, I really enjoyed my workouts and the progress that I was making. Eric texted me in May that he was taking me with him to a gym in Springfield and that if IFit contacted me that I was to say that I was NOT paying for training.....insert red light alarm!. I wanted to do a face to face, WTH is going on with Eric, so I showed up to the new gym, Eric did not and the gym informed me that he was not allowed to train in that gym because he was not an employee. At this point, I went to International and spoke with the then training manager, who informed me that Eric was suspended pending investigation. I told him my story and he promised that he would speak with owners and find some sort of resolution. I repeated this story multiple times to this person and to the Office Manager there. They were both embarrassed by IFit ownerships unwillingness to step up and honor their previous employees commitment. He was, after all, their General Manager. All I wanted from IFit was for them to provide me with the equivalent of the $ that I paid in training. I worked out with one trainer, who then was transferred to a different gym before our first real workout. I then scheduled with another trainer who had to cancel several hours before our first workout, due to family obligations. It became clear that our schedules were not going to jive, so she was going to refer me to another trainer. It took several days for the next trainer to call. He graciously listened to my story and offered an evaluation that evening at 6. At 6 I showed up, he did not. I didnt hear from him for several days at which time he stated he had broken his phone and it took several days to replace it. I had also checked in with the Office manager several times and she was unsuccessful at getting an owner to contact me.DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM! DO NOT SUPPORT A COMPANY THAT DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THE COMMITMENTS MADE BY THEIR STAFF OR TRAINERS THAT DO NOT KEEP THEIR COMMITMENTS. I KNOW THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON TO FALL FOR ERICS SCAM!To make matters worse, I fell for a sob story from Eric that his car broke down and he needed some $ to fix it and asked if I could see my way to loan him the $. I felt uneasy (again and didnt listed to my gut) and gave him a check for $1500. Since I am committed to becoming a better version of me, I told him to put it toward more training. Im not asking IFit to reimburse me for that, as that was my stupid move. I am, however asking that they reimburse me the the $1320 and membership. On a positive note, I also lent Eric my weed eater. He returned it! :-)

Great rates, superb hours, and plenty of equipment to go around. This is not a club, this is a gym, and in my opinion, the best one for your buck in the Eugene area.

Do not waste your time or money! (Northridge, CA location)* X training class: the instructor was 10 minutes late every time* Yoga class: Teacher does not explain the poses which can lead to injury* Zumba class: is a really good class but it is WAY too crowded* Training is only 30 minutes.Trainer stood me up twice and when we finally had the training section, It was a disaster, he spend the first 15 minutes talking to me about his personal life and the last 15 minutes trying to sell me more training!* *There is not steam room, only a Sauna, but it is off hafl the time* *The kids room is the size of a walking closet and they only have old and destroyed toys* *The staff at the front is incredibly incompetent and they do not care about at all, they got my billing all wrong and it has been a nightmare to get it fix, between giving me wrong information and not doing things right, it has been by far the worst experience!

I have been attending the new gym on Commerce Street and there is nothing new about it! The equipment is old and the facility, specifically the largest part of the gym, needs another facelift. The gym has been open for two weeks and there are many, many machines out of order. Even the yoga mats are in bad shape...it looks like people have been ripping the edges off of them. For many, this is an expensive gym ($100 enrollment fee + $40/yr enhancement fee + $40/month membership); thankfully, I purchased a deal off of Groupon.

I know for sure I have had some issues with them. Like when they werent taking money out of my account for my husbands membership and I went in to shut his down for his deployment and this kid who worked there told me they tried emailing and its not their fault if we never got it, because there is over 5,000 members yet that week I got a call from a BIGGER BUSINESS actually a CORPORATION real person reminding me of something and it was a real person calling. It was amazing lol this BIG gym couldnt call and let me know that it wasnt getting a payment for 4 months but this corporation would call and remind me of a payment that is needed.Weird right.I still have my membership but it isnt even worth it anymore.I dont even go because its ridiculous and I swear if I get yelled at anymore times from the front desk people Im gonna flip.

Nope, nope, nope.Everything was fine for the longest time, and then guess what? Suddenly Im not being charged. Okay, cool. Free gym for a couple of months. Definitely helps my mother out (who is paying for my account from the goodness of her heart and for the motivation of having a fitness buddy.) But suddenly, oh, by the way, youre behind fifty bucks and were going to harrass you every time you come in like youre some sort of criminal! But wait, heres the clincher *after trying to talk to people three or four times about this* -- somebody, when we upgraded our memberships, typed the EXPIRATION DATE ON THE SAME CARD TWO DIFFERENT WAYS ON TWO DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS! Whoa, weird and wild stuff! Okay, so well fix it because yours expired first? But were going to expect you to pay the past-due balance twice until we have you BRING IN YOUR BANK STATEMENT ON A TABLET AND LET US LOOK AT IT. (Weird business practices? I think so.)So Tim (at International Fitness in Springfield) promises itll be fixed, AFTER Kellan in billing SHOWED US THAT IT WAS FIXED, and nothing was updated on ANY OTHER COMPUTER IN THE SYSTEM EVER. Come to find out - wow! Wow, wow, wow! Youre being scanned in as the wroooong person! Woo! After we have a weird card number on your account and cant explain why, and we let you get harrassed by the front desk people five or six TIMES about this, and ONE time it was showing up as paid in full and then SUDDENLY behind two months AGAIN, we find out that youre the WRONG PERSON, at the WRONG ADDRESS, and how did we get yours and Jessica Smith in wherever informations mixed up? NO IDEA!So you fix it, Tim, and you promise that itll be fixed, and then lo and behold, what do we find this month? Weve been charged THREE times. Its NOT the club enhancement fee, because that comes out in August. So what happens? We talk to poor Jason, who I think has been in the middle of this for MONTHS now, and he says well I cant do anything until we see your bank statement. The same canned CRAP that we heard the first time around, AFTER getting all of our information in the system SEVERAL times and talking to SEVERAL people.Really.Okay. Fine. Were cancelling. You dont give a flying crap about any of us as members.Take our experience into account. Please, internet. Think very, very carefully before you get involved in a gym with such lofty promises.

This place is always crowded. Some of the staff are rude and the members that go here are disgusting. The equipment is NEVER wiped down!! I got ringworm my first time going to this location.
