My ten year old chocolate lab was vomiting for two days and they were able to get me in for a radiograph same day on a Saturday, no wait to see the vet, I didn’t have to wait in office for imaging and was able to go home and get things done while they worked and it was significantly cheaper than the emergency vet! By far the easiest experience I’ve ever had in a pinch. Highly recommend!!
I was so happy after my pup, Polly, and I left WEAH. The assistant who took care of Polly, and took her back to the room was beyond friendly and professional. I felt safe and comfortable handing Polly over to her. I wish I knew her name, because how far above and beyond she went every second that I was there. She double and triple checked that Polly and I had everything we needed before we left, and she even told me that she gave Polly extra snuggles while they were in the back! Polly is not super comfortable with new people but she took to the assistant right away! Through some miscommunication on my part, she had to take Polly back a few times and she was tremendously gracious about it each time. I was incredibly impressed with the care we received. We will definitely be coming back to this clinic. I was also very happy that each employee I saw had a mask on, and was wearing it properly!
Swift, polite, and knowledgeable staff. Always willing to help and work with you. Came in for a routine check up, was helped immediately and kindly. Love the staff at WEAH!
Will be returning with all my animals, brought my four year old boxer in a new patient for her limp and wasn’t fully able to explain where and what was causing her pain, everyone was sweet, professional and helpful, not to mention affordable. They were able to figure out the issue quickly and prescribed her medication, it’s day two and she’s already acting like a new dog
Our doctor listened to us and was very attentive to our issue. She worked with us to find a great solution to our problem. Excellent experience!
I was able to get my cat in for an urgent drop off visit. They explained everything clearly and offered options without pressure.
WEAH is the best vet I have ever been to. My dogs Abbey and Seager love them. They have always been there for them. They are also so affordable. I have often been scared about potential bills to find WEAH blows me away with their rates. Love this place
Vets and vet techs are burnt out due to the craziness of the pandemic.I get it, but they almost let two of my animals die saying they were fine.Being burned out doesnt mean that you dont have to look into a condition further because you dont feel like it. They clearly need to take time off work.I found out my dog has fluid on her lungs and a severe heart condition. That is not fine. She suffered for 2.5 weeks because I trusted what they said here and she still might pass away.. I will never return and I hope you dont either.
I took my puppy here today for her first exam and I couldnt be more pleased with how it went. The staff was kind, friendly, and professional. They were very thorough with her exam and reviewing her existing records - they even noticed an issue with the timing of some vaccines she had been given at the shelter she came from which allowed us to correct the error. Would highly recommend!
I was expecting to get a bill because i have never not once went into a place and not had to pay for something. I paid nothing for a lot of knowledge that was shared with me by Craig. You don’t see that anymore, they genuinely care about your animal and your expensive’s. I felt like the world is a better place after all when leaving the parking lot with confidence that my husky was okay and I knew what to do to better her symptoms without paying a dime. Thank you for being a true veterinarian Craig. I choose Craig to take my husky to anytime I may need expert advice and care. No more searching for the right vet cause I found them here at Eugene animal city view Eugene. Can’t thank them enough for being real.
Would be great if they stopped taking on new clients.West Eugene was amazing when we first transferred over to them late 2020. Their receptionists were always kind and cheerful on the phone and in person. However, recently, they have been so busy! I understand covid can cause issues with how they do things normally but we transferred over to them during covid and never had any issues until recently. When a clinic starts to take on more clients, you just become a dollar sign and they dont care for you anymore.Lately, they sound stressed and agitated over the phone and never have any available vet appointments for weeks out. Almost rude on the phone sometimes as well.I personally dont like going to vets this big as my dogs dont get the care and attention they should be receiving. Im sure other pet owners are with me on this. Also, if you need to reschedule for any reason, you are basically screwed as they dont have any availability. We have just given up going or even making appointments and will look for a new vet.Side note- we found a new vet but still needed flea medication from West Eugene. When we called, they sounded agitated and said didnt you request to change vets?Thats pretty much when we knew they didnt care for the well being of our pets and only cared for how many clients they could take on at a time.
They are very unprofessional, made an appointment. Manager claims they dont want to see my dog. Front desk was putting off calling me back to tell me I wouldnt be seen. Effectively putting my dogs life at risk. I have no issue with not wanting to see us but putting off calling because you knew I would be upset is just unprofessional. I wouldnt have been upset if you would have called back. You didnt. I had to call and check to see if I could be moved up. I was then told I wouldnt be seen altogether. If you care about your animal do not take them here.
They always come out in a timely fashion, since we have to be in our cars per covid. They are also always friendly.
My cats foot was swelling up due to an infection. I was able to get him in the day I called. They fixed up my baby and he fell in love with all the people at West Eugene Animal Hospital ❤ My cats name is Batman
They staff are friendly and helpful. The delay in treatment because after waiting 2 months due to Covid cost me an extra $79 because she was supposedly in heat but had they done it at the time of the exam I wouldnt have had that charge. Everyone is having difficulty due to Covid and I most definitely did not have the extra money since the eviction moratorium has had me paying for mortgage, home repairs and rent. No they didnt call to tell me that she was ingest and I called twice before picking her up. It was only on arrival she was supposedly in heat. Shes not not my puppy and no one in the family saw any signs of her being in heat
I had a really great experience here after looking for a vet that I felt good about. I was given a lot of information about my situation and options. It felt good because they really cared about the health of my kitty. I will definitely be going back as long as I live in Eugene.
The vet came outside and gave milo his oral vaccine and his booster right outside! It was convenient as my pup has some anxiety surrounding the vet. I appreciate all that you do! Also since my pup is a pitbull, he’s usually treated 50/50, but the folks at this location always say he’s such a good boy
My husband and I spent hours this morning calling them, noone answered the phone. We thought, we just swing by, and they did give us an appt. We showed up 15 mins prior to the appointment and called, and after about 10 minutes of it saying there was a high volume of check-ins, finally got through. They told us they would be right out with some paperwork, and then we watched for 40 mins as they went to all the other cars around us. We waved to signal, and they just said hi and kept walking. My cat was increasingly getting more scared and upset. He was showing signs of heat stroke, and being in pain from his injury. After waiting for until 4:00pm.We just went home. They had the audacity to call and try to reschedule explaining they had other emergencies Got It, my animals emergency is not important to you, clearly. As I have read other google reviews, that states, this kind of thing happens quite often, you may want to stop making excuses, and truly take a look at why you are so busy. Better yet, the next time someone comes to you with an emergency and you cant accommodate them, tell them that, give a referral, or at the very least just say, we cant do it. So that I am not wasting my time waiting. So no, West Eugene Animal Hospital, I dont want to reschedule, I want to find a professional Emergency vet in the area.
I noticed my dog was having problems going to the bathroom. My usual vet was closed, so I called I was able to get a same day appointment!! The techs were so sweet and treated my hyper pup very kindly. They didn’t even have to sedate him! Which shows he must have been very comfortable inside. This will be my new vet 😊
We have been coming to West Eugene Animal Hospital for a few years now and have always received great service. First it was with our Cocker Spaniel and now with our Siamese kitten. Recently, we have been going to them during COVID times, and yes the wait is a smidge longer than it used to be. But how could it not be? They are continuing to take safety precautions for us and the health of their workers. Communication is still wonderful and they are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
The people here are always very caring and friendly!
Very professional great animal hospital. They were able to get my kitty in very quickly and on short notice when we had a emergency. I recommend this place if you are in the Eugene area.
Even though I couldn’t go in with my pup for his first visit with them (we just moved to the area) they made sure I felt completely involved and addressed every single issue I brought up. I’ve also been able to call them multiple times and they’ve been very helpful and knowledgeable. Their new patient discount is definitely fantastic too!
Recently we got into a car accident and unfortunately our lab Otis was with us and the impact was right on his side. He came out sore and limping. Our local vet didn’t have an appointment available to us so I did some research and went with WEAH and they got us in same day! Otis also has a tendency to be very anxious at the vets office and they took AMAZING care of him. They prescribed him a very nice pain reliever and he’s moving around acting like normal again the next day! I was really expecting a $200+ vet bill but we only had to pay for the meds so that was a awesome plus! These people care about the animals. If you love your pet bring them here!
I really like the staff there- they were always very kind. Its just that the quality of the veterinary services were only fair or moderate. We had our dogs teeth cleaned and an assortment of other services, and were not happy with the quality of care. We went to another vet and saw better quality for the same procedures and lower costs.
This has been our go-to for many years now. The Drs. are great, and their staff is on par with their excellence.
It was easy to make an appointment, and when I arrived in the parking lot, I had to wait only a few minutes for the tech to come get my cat, who needed some immunizations. He was returned to me with the appropriate paperwork, in a short time also. All the staff at WEAH is knowledgeable, kind, responsive, and efficient. Its a pleasure to deal with them. I think even my cat doesnt mind them too much.
From the moment I first called West Eugene Animal Hospital to get pricing on vaccines and exams for my new rescue dog, Ive been impressed with the customer service and compassion of this clinic. They made the curbside service as smooth as could be expected, so I imagine the full-service experience (when there isnt social distancing rules in place) will be exceptional. As a planner and worry-wart, I also appreciated that they always left as much time as I needed for questions.
This was my first time at WEAH & I was absolutely amazed by the friendliness of the staff as well as their knowledge, expertise, helpfulness & general caring attitude!! My cat has a recent cancer diagnosis, and I was fearful & apprehensive when I first arrived at the clinic. I can honestly say that I left the clinic feeling relived, confident & like we have a good course of action to begin treating my cats cancer!! Thank you. West Eugene Animal Hospital! I truly feel like this is going to be the beginning of a wonderful relationship between my pet, myself & the staff. I have total confidence in you guys!Copy review to clipboard
Came in to get my cat some anxiety meds for an upcoming move to Portland. Staff was kind and courteous, the COVID/outside set up ran really smoothly which was appreciated. Happy with the many options I was offered for my cat, chose two and they werent too expensive. Thank you!
Absolutely great service! and prices that you can actually manage.... I will now be bringing all of my animals here
We had a great experience. Our 2 year old black lab Oakley has pretty bad anxiety when going to the vet. Due to the drive up service, I’m alway a little nervous about how she does when we’re not there. From where I was parked, I was able to see Oakley through a window. The vet techs did a great job at petting her and keeping her calm through her ear cleaning! Thank you WEAH!
This vet KILLED my cat. I gave a detailed description of my cat’s condition and they gave her medication that is specifically cautioned against giving to animals that were in her condition. When I brought her home she got worse and worse. When I called with concerns this vet was completely unhelpful. They gave me no information. They take no responsibility. Do NOT bring your pets here.
Experienced misdiagnosed with my sick kitty. Doctor Powers refused to make a follow up call regarding my kitty’s diagnosis as I had further questions since I was not allowed to accompany my pet so I could have asked more questions about my pet”s health. Office manager rude and hostile when I suggested the clinic at least allow one animal parent to be with their pet during a clinical visit. Echo Hollow Vet clinic allows one person to be with their pet in an office visit during the Wuhan Virus situation. When I suggested to the office manager that they should allow the same courtesy I was met with hostility. Why! Curve side care from their office means it’s more convenient for the doctor to do an exam without answering questions from animal parent regarding the diagnosis of their pet. Faster turn around for the clinic to make more money without having to deal with the human parent who pays the bill. When I suggested this model of care I was told to go to Echo Hollow clinic if I don’t like their policy. Yes! I should have gone to Echo Hollow clinic on Barger in the first place and not waste my time on unprofessional snarky service from West Eugene clinic. If they keep up their arrogant attitude it will be a matter of time before this clinic goes under. My personal prediction!
I was very pleased with how compassionate the whole team was. They were very nice about trying to help us stick to a budget but still giving us great options for our pup. It’s only been a couple days since our visit, but he already seems more comfortable and happy. He is a rescue and is usually a little scared around people but I could tell that they made him feel comfortable and he wasn’t scared at all when it was time for pickup. Definitely would highly recommend and will be back if I ever need anything at all for my new pet:)
Great first visit and free too!!! This office has a super calm and relaxing vibe. The Veterinarian was awesome. Answered all questions and took time to explain things in simple terms. Didnt feel rushed which is a unique experience to have. If you found this review to be helpful please, like it. Thank you
I waited 2 weeks. They will only wait 15 minutes.I hit traffic on the way to my 5pm appointment, arrived late, waited another 5 minutes in lobby to check in to be told i was too late and would have to reschedule for another week away. I will be finding a new vet for my 2 pups.
The Dr. found more issues than I thought my dog had and called with solutions to fix the problems. My dog is very happy now.
I have been to this clinic for 30 years. I had my dogs teeth cleaned and she had 2 bad teeth they did not pull. Why would you leave 2 bad teeth in my dogs mouth while she was under anesthesia. So I can pay 674 dollars for the teeth extraction and 500 dollars for just the cleaning. I would have paid whatever they wanted. Don’t leave 2 bad teeth in my dogs mouth. Dr Young and Dr Larson I am shocked. Oregon law states when inside a building you must wear a mask 2 receptionist were not wearing mask.
I appreciate how quickly my cats food is ready for me to pick up and the coupons the staff gives me. Thank you for saving me money and time.
Theyve been so helpful with my cat and always willing to answer questions.
I got my kitty from a shelter, he had only been there a short time and had been found abandoned behind a dumpster as a young kitten. When he got to me he had many parasites and ailments. The staff at West Eugene Animal Hospital were super patient with me, a worried cat mom, and my kitty. They always listened when I said I thought there was something wrong and were always helpful in providing options for treatment. All in all we got rid of giardia, fleas, ticks, tapeworms, ear mites, and put him on special food for his stomach. Now he is stabilized and super healthy and no one would even guess someone left him behind a dumpster! I feel that this vet office is super helpful, especially responsive, and fair priced! They always call or email to give you reminders about upcoming treatments like vaccines and I really appreciate them for it. These guys are my first vet and, provided I stay in Eugene, my last vet!
Our pup was hurting and we couldnt get her in to see her regular vet for a few days. Called and got an appointment within a couple of hours. Wonderful experience with everything!!! The Vet and Vet Tech both were amazing with our pup. You could tell that they genuinely love animals and know how to work with puppies. So refreshing and wonderful.
They were very fast, efficient, and kind. They walked us through the budget and went over what was best for the care of our kitties. They were also very gentle when handling our fur babies. We will definitely be back to see them. They gave us excellent service and I see this being our kitties regular vet.
Staff was very friendly and Dr. Sundholm really took the time to explain all of my options to me which I really appreciated. I will be bringing all of my pets here from now on.
My very nervous and high strung dog had his annual appointment today. The staff went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and to help him work through his anxiety. They were also so amazing with my kiddos who wanted to be very “involved” in our dogs exam. I can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of our boy and being so patient with him.
My family has brought our pets to West Eugene Animal Hospital for years now! The vets are all knowledgeable and handle our Saint Bernard and Newfoundland with expertise, as well as our cats. During my most recent visit I brought my kittens Lily and Nala in for their first kitten visits. The staff worked with me to find an appointment time that worked with my schedule and quickly helped me reschedule when our first appointment time didn’t fit with my work schedule. The staff are always kind and competent and show that they truly care about the animals! The Vet was great with the kittens and answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. The new patient discount was an added bonus.
Things are hard during the COVID19 pandemic but I never felt like they took care of my dog any differently. They were kind, gentle, made sure to ask me lots of questions and asked several times if I had any. I felt like they really cared about us and were doing all they could in the safest way they could for all involved.
My dogs are always rambunctious, and the staff are amazing with interacting with them. They dont let my dogs size discourage them. They were very considerate and understanding of our financial situation. My boy will be having surgery in the near future. They took the time to discuss with us our options that allowed us to make the best well informed decision. We stayed nearly past closing and it was nice to not feel rushed. The staff was very patient. Overall, I feel that my dogs are very well cared for when we go in.
Theyre generally good at thier exam times, not creating undue stress for the animals, however its a bit harder to obtain medications because theyre not open very late nor do they stay open 7 days a week.
It was my cats annual wellness check. He was very stressed when we got there so they sprayed a calming agent on a towel and placed it over the carrier, it worked wonders. Staff was very nice and professional. My only thought is it would be nice if he saw the same vet each visit.
Outstanding, compassionate, professional veterinary care. All vets, techs, and staff provided help above and beyond to care for our sweet girl, and for us, until her recent passing. We cant say enough about how fantastic this clinic is. Thank you, thank you West Eugene Animal Hospital!
We recently moved to Eugene so this was our first visit to a vet out here. The people at West Eugene Animal Hospital were friendly and made the curb-side service easy! We will be staying with this vet while we live here.
Our first visit to the clinic with our cat Oscar, and even tho we has to do the whole wait in the parking lot thing, the staff was wonderful and the doctor was very caring and informative as to what was wrong with our boy. We are very thankful that we were able to get a same day appointment on a Saturday.
Every staff member who helped me and my kitty were very friendly and helpful. The vet gave me helpful advice and a thorough treatment plan with multiple options for my cat. I’m always grateful for the way my cat is treated by staff!
Super helpful especially during CoVid with curbside service. My Rescue Service dog usually wont leave my side for anyone. They got him iin and in the back in less than 5 minutes. I was peaking through a window. Staff is very friendly and will go the extra mile for you as long as you show professional courtesy when they do. They took the time I needed to help me with my 2nd doggy (now) and 1 cat I had about 20 years ago and staff was helpful and friendly then too.
Initially, I loved this vet very much, but lately every time we go in its a vet we havent seen before. I think we saw four different vets in six months. Weve been going to this animal hospital for over seven years, but my dogs need a vet who knows them, not a new Dr. each time.
The vets and techs here are kind and knowledgeable. By noticing my cats tooth resorption issue early they were able to fix an issue that had been causing him hidden pain, transforming him into a much sweeter, loving, and less nervous pet post-surgery. I know my cats are in good hands when I take them here.
We love WEAH. They are always so friendly and good with our dog, Pippin. Unlike other vets I’ve been to, they make sure you know all of the prices before making a decision and they are great about suggesting alternatives!
Want to have your pet suffer from Heat Stroke?! Choose West Eugene Animal Hospital! We’re new in town and thought with all the 5 star reviews this had to be a stand up place.Clearly they aren’t when it comes to handling pets and COVID.They’re doing curbside service right now and it has the WORST ORGANIZATION.We originally made our appointment for 9:30am on Friday but were called back not even 5 minutes later to have it changed because they double booked.Annoying but it happens and I wanted to go here so I changed to the 4:30pm despite it being much later than what I wanted.Being a new patient, when we made the appointment I made sure to tell them everything about our 4month old labernese and also what car I would be in.The TECH who made my appointment said “make sure to bring all that information with you.” That, along with every last vet experience led me to assume I’d be filling out a tad bit of paperwork.I got to the clinic at 4:00pm along with 4 other cars. All of us park along the garage side of the clinic. I’m in the last actual spot, and the rest of the cars blocked the bay doors or were further beyond me to the left.Techs were in and out talking to cars, including the one to my immediate right.I EVEN WAVED AT TWO.Nothing. No one said anything to me. No one acknowledged us.We sat there with the windows down and then around 4:15 I finally rolled them back up for A/C. At 4:17 I call and let Libby the really rude receptionist know I’m here. She asked which car I’m in, and I let her know (again.) She said they’ll be out IN A MIN.Finally at 4:34pm I called back and asked why the NEW CAR next to me got their paperwork but I still haven’t, and my appointment was at 4:30.She gives me some lame line about how appointments have been on time and they haven’t been asking people to come early today....Ok well I didn’t know that I’m new and this is my FIRST EVER APPT HERE. So. And you told me a while ago you’d be out for me dog and now he’s HOT. And uncomfortable. She gives me a valley girl “I’m so sorry he’s so hot and uncomfortable lll be right out for him but normally no one comes early for curbside.” She’s literally saying this deadpan.A few min later I watched a tech go to a car on the City View street side and put a clipboard down. I backed out and left. I was so livid at that point that a VET OFFICE was willingly allowing not just my dog but a whole row of animals to sit in cars on an 88° day. It wasn’t just mine either.I called back when I left demanding to speak to the manager. I explained why I was so frustrated and appalled at their behavior. She expressed that they had dealt with surgeries this morning, which is why I got moved. I’m fine with that; it’s why I was flexible. She explained they’re trying to deal with COVID boundaries. I get that tooHowever I worked as a vet tech and our number one responsibility was to the animals. I’m so disgusted that they would allow fur babies to sit in cars. The idea that they aren’t monitoring the moment a car lands in their parking lot as a a potential client that needs to be extracted from a vehicle is disgusting and frankly not what I expected from such a highly ranked veterinary office.Care for your clients should come first. Not complaining about how busy you are, and how hard it is. If your heart isn’t in what you’re doing you’re in the wrong line of work, ladies. And the office manager has the audacity to tell me she was “disappointed in me” for choosing to bring this to her attention.
Dr. Supan was so great. Our dog Titus is afraid of new people and usually snarls in vet settings. We were able to send over our information on him so they knew how to handle him and what helps keep him calm. She was so understanding and patient with him. We were really nervous he would be bad without us being present (covid curbside). Dr. Supan came out and explained everything in great detail and didn’t rush us. I love that she balances science and Chinese medicine like our previous vet in Florida. We also brought our dog Gideon in after a tooth of his broke off. It turned out to be a rare disease that affected 8 of his teeth. They had to be removed but Dr. Seyler did an amazing job keeping us informed. They also let us come back for a few follow ups when we were worried about his sutures bleeding. They never made us feeling like a bother. It’s easy to overlook such a small place but they make up for it in service.I’d also like to give a shoutout to the assistants/techs/office staff for being so kind and making our dogs feel like the popular kids in school haha.
I recently lost my dog so brought her in to get chipped. The initial appt was complimentary and the chip was $10 less than other places I called. Staff was super sweet and mentioned products they had but didnt pressure me to buy. One of the best vet experiences Ive had!
The technician and veterinarian were exceptionally sweet! Had a lot of information regarding my dogs welfare. Wait time was next to nothing... they also honored my pup being dog reactive. Prices are very fair. Definitely going back! Thank you to the staff:)
We travel to Eugene quite often to visit family and our dog Wiley was having some issues so we called several vets and ended up going to West Eugene Animal Hospital and Im so glad we did. The staff was very knowledgeable and Dr. Larsen was fantastic with our Wiley. We highly recommend West Eugene Animal Hospital.
We were just passing thru Eugene, had an emergency with my dog and they took us right in. They took care of the problem and my little girl was released that day and has been doing great. This week it has been a year since our visit and we received this adorable post card with her picture on it. It was a friendly reminder from Thumper, our dog, to keep regular vet visits. What a thoughtful thing yo do, and what a clever way to do it. I highly recommend this vet.
The staff seem very compassionate, but this practice charges a lot and upsells a variety of things. For instance my dog had a foxtail embedded in his paw and there was considerable swelling due to infection. They were going to sedate and unsedate, due surgery on the paw, prescribe pain, anti inflammatory and antibiotic, office evaluation totalling 436 bucks.. Way too much!! I took the antibiotic and anti inflammatory, Went home and soaked his paw in hot epsom salt solution twice. I gently massaged the swelling which popped easily. I used tweezers under a bright light and found the foxtail and removed. I packed the open wound with triple antibiotic and bandaged, Just like removing a sliver, While Im sure the vet is a great surgeon, their approach was an expensive overkill.
Everyone at West Eugene Animal Hospital are they best. You always feel welcome and they truly care about your pet. We had to put our 16 year old Jack Russell down on Saturday, Dr. Powers and the staff made the process easier by their caring and kidness. I want to thank all of you for your caring and kindness.
I took my parents cat to West Eugene Animal Hospital and my experience was great. The front counter was fast and courteous and treated my cat like it was one of their own. The Veterinarian was thorough and professional. All in all my experience was great and I would recommend anyone in need of Veterinarian services give them a call. Very pleased with my experience. A+
My experience was great. He listened to all my many questions with patience and answered them for me. He really gave me some piece of mind about my dogs allergies.
I took our older family dog in to get a check up and an update on his current health. I was more than happy with the service that my dog received as well as how responsive everyone was about what his health goals should be at this point. Excellent service and easy communication within the clinic itself, I would definitely recommend this vet hospital to a family member or friend!! :)
We drive from Roseburg to Eugene to have our pets seen by West Eugene, they treat us like family and the doctors are really good. Theyve become much busier in the last couple of years and its tough to get in same day appointments nowadays, but its worth the wait for the attention to detail and how they handle our dog Bentley and our cat Lucky. We feel blessed to have a staff that cares so much for our pets.
Very nice and enthusiastic!
Weve been taking our cats, ( and our dog, who passed) here for about 10 years. I wouldnt go anywhere else. All the vets have been caring and helpful, and we especially love Dr. Larson, who has gone the extra mile for us. I highly recommend them.
Ive been coming here for 10 yrs and there is a reason for that. The staff is amazing: friendly, personable, caring and know me and my pets. Ive had excellent care for all of my pets over the years. Ive had emergencies and routine check ups. My pets dont even mind coming here. And my dogs love Donna! I will be honest however. There have been several times lately that I have had to wait over 30 minutes for my scheduled appointment. I have been told that they are working on solving that problem. Even so, I highly recommend taking your pets here. The care is wonderful.
Excellent emergency and routine care for our GSD; thoughtful, kind staff.
I’ve always received excellent care for all of my pets, past and present, at West Eugene Animal Hospital. The staff is kind and caring, and the environment is welcoming. There are other clinics that are located much closer to where I reside now, but I still make the drive to West Eugene for their exempleary service!
Even though we had to do curbside service everyone was professional and took great care of my dog. I will be back for sure!
Ive taken both my own kitty in there as well as a stray that I found that was not doing so hot. In both situations they took amazing care of them and you could tell that the people really cared and loved animals. Its so nice to see!
I have taken my puppy in West Eugene Animal Hospital several times due to his extensive eating habits. Theyve always helped him stay calm and comfortable during these stressful experiences. The receptionists were very friendly and I will be returning there anytime I need animal care. Highly recommend this place.
Love the entire staff at WEAH! Drs. Hewitt and Powers and the entire vet tech and front desk staff are always so patient, so giving of their time and they treat our fur-kids with respect and compassion. We are so thankful that we found this Vet facility when we first moved to Eugene.
Professional, prompt and very sanitary was my experience at this friendly animal hospital. Great care and reasonable rates are the reason to bring your pet here. Plenty of parking and knowledgeable staff make for a pleasant experience.
I have been going to West Eugene Animal hospital for years. They are great, always friendly and helpful. They always try to get you in as soon as possible, and clearly explain the costs, which they are very fair. They were recommended to me and came with high praise, I fully see why they are always rated #1 Vet by the Register Guard poll. I look forward to continuing using their services as long as I have pets, which I am sure will be many years to come.
I tried buying my cats prescription cat food here (with a valid prescription) & the receptionist refused to sell it to me because I wasnt a patient. Ive worked in vet clinics before & we have no refused to sell food if somebody had a prescription.
I cannot say enough about how grateful i am for the wonderful staff at West Eugene Animal Clinic and especially Dr. Norton. I brought my very sick 1 1/2 year old puppy Penny into the clinic and i am beyond impressed at the care, compassion and attention she has received by Dr. Norton and the other staff there, and i mean everyone. Penny has been hospitalized for a few days there and received surgery, which Dr. Norton even stayed after hours to perform and called with an update immediately after, and i could not be more grateful or say enough good words. I really feel that Dr. Norton and the staff has gone above and beyond to ensure that my loved one is getting everything she needs to feel better. I would recommend this place absolutely! The staff here is beyond AMAZING and truly care about pets and their families and it really shows! THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!
The staff and Drs there make you feel so welcome! We take both of our dogs there and our oldest has had surgery there along with setting up a treatment plan for his seizures. They lay everything out for you and are very reasonably priced. I refer all our friends and family to them and hear nothing but the same thing from them as well! Axle & Remi love their vet Dr Norton!
Dr. Powers and the staff at West Eugene Animal Hospital were so sweet and caring with my kitten! I felt very sure that my pet was getting the best level of care and attention!
It was a good visit they were gentle an caring of my fur babe an they made it easy on us
This is by far the absolute best veterinarian I have ever taken any pet to. I have read through the reviews and have seen some posts about the dr being afraid of big dogs and this couldnt be further from the truth. I have a large German shepherd mix that is a very sweet dog. We also have 5 young children that climb all over him and he would never hurt a soul, but needs a muzzle when he gets his nails done at the groomers and is very protective of my family. When we go in here the entire staff is extremely kind and playful with my fur baby. In their line of work it is critical that they read the body language of each animal for their safety. It is a stressful place for animals, especially if their owners are stressed about the appointment. They have always gone above and beyond to make us all feel comfortable, even when I show up with all the kids. Thank you guys for the superb service and always treating us like family!
Ive been going to West Eugene Animal Hospital for the past four years or so and Ive honestly never had a bad experience. They make sure to explain costs if I have questions or concerns, and Finley (my doggo) always seems to have a decent experience—which is actually the best I can ask for since he (like most dogs) isnt the biggest fan of the vet. Thanks for your hard work, WEAH!
The staff at West Eugene Animal Hospital is Awesome! They put the care of the animal first and the money later. Dr. Larson takes the time to make sure you understand all your options and doesnt pressure you into making a decision. The front desk makes me feel like family. We love West Eugene Animal Hospital.
I was really impressed with the new remodel. The lobby has a lot of space now and it doesnt feel so crowded. I have always felt like I get good service here and have always been happy bringing our dog and cat here. Good people.
We summer in Lane County and have always brought our pets to West Eugene Animal Hospital. The staff is wonderful and our dogs love them! See you all next summer.
They always provide the best service and always make sure the animals and their owners have the best and most comfortable experience possible. I have no doubt in my mind that my puppy is getting the best care around.
We moved to Eugene about a year ago and after trying one local vet we decided to give West Eugene a try. What a difference the whole experience was! The staff are wonderful and the vets very caring and adapted to our dogs very different personalities. Every visit had been first rate and follow up calls on test results have been from the vets themselves!
I wouldnt take my pets anywhere else! The staff treats my pets like family. They are compassionate, knowledgeable and answer all my questions and concerns. My little Bella had horrible teeth problems and had to have several teeth removed. They did a wonderful job! I am so happy I found West Eugene Animal Hospital!
We took our dog to West Eugene Animal Hospital to be spayed. The veterinarians, techs and front office staff are always kind and loving with our pets. They always take the time to answer all of our questions.
