The Dental staff were extremely kind and understanding with me and Ellie. They got us situated and understood that the experience wasnt going to be good for Ellie. She was born only a little bit before Covid started and hasnt been able to be socialized. As well she has always hated restraints and being restrained... >.>Anyway they explained how to hold Ellie so they could clean and check her teeth (no cavities!) and gave me tips on how to better clean her teeth. I cant wait for her next visit, and am hoping shell do better. They also gave her a little fairy duck as a reward which she loves! :)Thanks to the Awesome Staff at Eugene Kids Dentist Im sure Ellie will grow to like going to see the Dentist.

Took both my daughters in for their very first visit @ Eugene Kids’ Dentist & they had a great experience. Front desk staff were warm and welcoming. The dental hygienist were kind and make my girls feel relaxed, they had a great visit. Can’t thank them enough!!

Eugene kids are great with my kids.The staff is very nice and professional. I prepaid for my daughters sealants. The doctor was so great he adjusted the price even though it went up since the time I paid for them.

We enjoy Eugene Kids Dentist! We got there early, so they fit us in early and we saw the Dr on time for a cleaning and check up. He is at the age of learning to floss better and that was the name of the game. He didnt have any cavities, so he was entered into the Cavity Free Club Contest. They give prizes for good behavior and run movies for their choosing during the visit. I love how they help my son be comfortable.

Eugene Kids Dentist is always a fun, welcoming place and my kids are always excited to go there. Weve only encountered friendly staff. Seriously the best dentist my kids have seen!! They love the fact that they can pick a movie to watch on the ceiling while they are having their teeth looked at. This really helped ease my daughters anxiety. They were able to get us in quickly when my daughter had an issue with a tooth bothering her, even though we were not yet established patients and had not been seen by their office before. The hygienist and the dentist were both very friendly and calming while working with my daughter. The receptionists were incredibly helpful with getting our insurance sorted out so we could be seen in their office. If it werent for their help, Id probably still be on the phone trying to sort it! 😄

Horrible customer service, they cancelled my sons VERY IMPORTANT appointment the day before his appointment was even scheduled and told no one. I had to drive 4 hours to be there and they didn’t do anything to fix their mistake. Do not go here if you can help it.

Every time weve visited it has been wonderful but this was the first time for my 1 year old and 5 year old together. Everyone was patient and lovely and we were done pretty quickly! My 5 year old was very apprehensive this time around and everyone made it a great experience.

I like Eugene Kids Dentist however I have a two year old who does NOT like to sit for more than one second. Every time I take him there I go into a full blown sweat and it is uncomfortable for me. I know it is first come first served or by appointment but the dentist peaked in and said should I go next door first or here and the nurse said next door...I have a TWO year old...I think there should be some priority since he literally will run all over their office unless I physically restrain him. The TWO year old should have been seen first. When it was time to leave they told me to go sit out in the waiting room again to check out. My two year old started running through the office. I cannot SIT anymore with him so we just left. If they could do something about the age of the child that is there..maybe priority check out? Otherwise I do like the Eugene Kids Dentist!

After having a pretty terrible experience at Springfield Kids Dentist, I was delighted to switch to the Eugene location. The staff in Eugene was caring, accommodating and understanding of our daughters fears. And they actually listened to all of my questions and responded very helpfully, instead of blowing me off. The Eugene staff provided ample information to make informed decisions for care, and were just all around pleasant. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Staff were very attentive to my child, and allowed a relaxed atmosphere throughout the entire visit.

My daughters dentist at Eugene Kid’s is literally the nicest guy- Dr Whiting. Lol, he has a very appropriate name for his profession. My daughter is a toddler, and he sings the “brush brush brush your teeth” song as he’s working on her, and I can tell she really likes him. He didn’t judge me when I came back in only 2 months after her first cleaning because I noticed some tartar built up. He also showed me multiple great ways to brush the teeth on a screaming, flailing gremlin toddler. Not to mention, he’s pretty easy on the eyes, I’m not gonna lie. Great dentist, great office, all the office staff are super friendly and love kids. 10/10 experience every time I go, and I always look forward to coming back.

All 3 of my boys go here and I have never had a bad experience. Everyone who has worked with my kids are kind, patient, and loving, and my boys love that they can watch a movie while they get worked on.

The staff was so amazing! It was my daughters first visit and they made us feel so comfortable. We left with bad news, gonna need cavities filled, but they were very reassuring about the process.

Love this office, so kind and really care for my kids. Came up with the best options for my 3 year olds teeth and even though it wasn’t the most comfortable procedure, he still left there smiling and loving the dentist.

They wasted weeks of my time after I gave them insurance information. When I offered to pay cash, they rejected the offer, claiming that they are not allowed to take cash if they are not in network with our insurance. I have a kid with a dental issue and now have to search for a new dentist.

My only thought was I wish they were more discreet with giving info about your childs teeth. I dont need to have everyone know my business and I dont need to hear if the one next to me is having issues. Otherwise everything was great and the staff was nice.

This was my sons first time at the dentist, he was born blind and is also on the spectrum. I cant even express how amazing the staff was with him, Meghan called him up for xrays and he was so nervous until she spoke with a calm reassuring voice and explained everything she would do. She went above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable. Everything she did for him and with him made the entire appointment very easy and fun. I would recommend them to every parent. He deserves 10 stars himself.However, the one receptionist needs an attitude adjustment and perhaps a lesson in humanity.If anyone in the office needs clarification on the subject, I would be more than happy to go into it further.

I took 3 of my 4 kids here for the first time a week ago. Ages 2.5, 11, & 13. All my kids loved it. It was also my 2.5 year olds first time (who is very shy), she let them clean her teeth and do everything they needed. The staff was kind, the dental assistants were very friendly and sweet and the Dr that worked on my kids was great!. I was stressed about bringing 3 kids in to the dentist but as soon as I stepped into their office my stress melted away. Definitely will be sticking with them. They have toys, movies, and more. I would recommend them to anyone 😊

My 5 year old son absolutely loved Dr. Whiting. After having a traumatic experience with a different office, I expected my son to be hesitant about dentists. After just one appointment at Eugene Kids’ Dental, my son said “I love the dentist, I can’t wait to go back!” Everyone was very friendly and caring.

Every single person in this office has been helpful, kind and always wears a smile. The dentist who sees my daughter is phenomenal with her- so caring and gentle and knows how to talk with her. Fatima, the woman who helps with payment and insurance and billing- shes amazing. Shes gone above and beyond to make sure were not only doing whats best for my daughters health, but working with our TERRIBLE insurance company to find out how best to pay for the services. So extremely happy to have my daughter cared for by this dental practice!

It was our 3 year olds first time going to the dentist we weren’t sure how she would do but everything went great. I feel it went so well because everyone that works there was so friendly and very patient with her. The whole building was very clean. We will definitely be going back! Thank you all so much!!!

Dentist and hygienist are good. But the one supporting staff- financial staff sucks with customer service. We got a call from them forcing us to pay for another bill that the insurance did not cover saying we’ll get finance charge if not settled that day. We did not the get the bill so we are not aware of it. I spoke with MORGAN and I told her that we’re not aware of the additional payment since we already paid at the time of my son’s appointment. It turned out that the zip code on the account was not right so the bill was not mailed. I asked her mail the bill again to the right addresses first so we could see it before making any payment. She wanted to take my card info even with my request to send the bill first. I received the bill yesterday and called back willing to pay for the rest of the amount the insurance did not cover. The bill statement also includes a narrative that she wrote when I spoke with her on the phone last and it did appear that I was upset because I had to pay another amount. It was not fair!! I was upset with the phone call forcing my wife and me to pay for the amount of money that we are not even aware of just because the bill was not mailed to correct address. She did not sound genuinely sorry for inconvenience and the way it come across us. She did not even try to win us back when I said we’re transferring to a different clinic just because of that impression she made. Hoping Eugene Kids will assess their customer service.

The staff was amazing with my girls. They even set up appointments for both my kids same time so my youngest wasnt to scared. The dentist was super nice to my kids and I highly recommend this dentist.

Kidz Dental Zone is extremely friendly. They have great staff and explain things in detail and answer all questions. They are understanding with the children and very patient. The child watches a movie on the screen while the dentist does his work. The dentist is very good with listening to the child and explaining to them as well to make them feel comfortable. Our family loves it there. I have already personally recommended them to several other people and some have already gone and love it.

My wife and I took our very energetic, very active son to his second-ever dental appointment here. His first visit, at another office in Portland, was not a great experience. This was a complete difference. The staff were amazing! They talked him through every step, and the movies they had for him to choose from were a perfect distraction for the boring parts. He even sat through x-rays, and this is a kid I have in a headlock every time we brush his teeth! Dr. Whiting was awesome with my son, making him laugh and feel comfortable in a not-so-comfortable situation. Would recommend to anyone!

Update: We are still super happy with Eugene Kids Dentist! They are very patient and understanding, and make sure you have all your questions and concerns answered. We saw Dr. Jimmy this time, and he was great!We have been so very happy with Eugene Kids Dentist. I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and both of them love coming here. Dr. Hung is so great!! She is incredibly nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. In fact, every staff member we have met here has been wonderful. Id recommend them to anyone with kiddos!

Absolutely love this place. Im a nervous to go to the dentist person at best, and the extra mile the super great staff go to make the kiddos comfortable and at ease makes this place the best! Yes its a little busy, but Ive never had an unreasonable wait time, and my 6yr old who never likes to wait for anything is always happily occupied with the fun kids area. The dentist really does take his time patiently with everyone. I also saw plenty of handwashing and sanitizing surfaces and hygiene standard everything. 5 yrs with this center and my kiddo just got his work done like a champ. And even if he didnt theyre still prepared and great at working with nervous or uncooperative patients. All the stars, never want to go anywhere else.

This is an amazing place for kids to get dental care. I’ve been taking my son there for years, and we’ve always had a great experience. The staff know how to set kids and parents at ease. I appreciate that they talk to my son (who is 11) rather than only taking to me. They do a good job of explaining everything they are doing and helping him feel comfortable.

My son has been coming here for years, we have seen a few dentists and its always been a great experience...until today.This rating is specific to the dentist we saw because I cannot fathom how she works with humans, especially tiny humans! As soon as she walked over, I felt the disconnect and lack of compassion for my child. She didnt introduce herself or talk to him much at all.I felt belittled as a parent, I felt like my choices and decisions werent valued. Instead of being informed and educated, I was told that if I want to let my sons cavity just get bigger and bigger, thats your choice. Statements like well we treat tons of kids every day to justify why concerns did not matter.I was told the procedure we just did recently was not done any longer, so I had no choices except the one being presented or to be neglectful of my sons dental health. Instead of being told what the benefits were, I was told that the other options are archaic and borderline barbaric.When I voiced concern over needles (my son has anxiety and is VERY sensitive to pain) I was told that its just my worry being portrayed.The body language and tone used was not professional or respectful and to be honest if this dentist was our only option Id never return nor recommend her to any parent.Its sad to think that a child-specific dentist would hire someone who clearly should never work with children.

My son was experiencing tooth pain that we attributed to his braces. However when he had sudden facial swelling overnight with severe pain and low grade fever, I became very concerned for dental infection and called the office as soon as they opened. This is during the pandemic so they gave me the option of waiting 5 days for an appointment or a telehealth visit. I explained that he needed to be seen urgently so I would do the telehealth visit. An hour and a half later I still had no call. I called the office again and asked that the dentist be repaged. I got a call shortly after from Dr Whiting who told me that from the pictures he thought he didn’t have enough swelling for an infection, and needed a root canal from an old injury on his front tooth that he had a temp crown on. I explained that he had swelling from his lip up to his eye and across his nose with a fever and was screaming in pain. I did not feel comfortable with his plan and wanted my son examined in person and told him such. He told me he could call in an antibiotic that may or may not help and could see him the next day. At this point I told him I would call other dental offices to see if someone could see him emergently. It was then he told me that there was a dentist in at the Springfield location and they could try to get him in there. I’m not sure why that wasn’t his first suggestion except for the fact that I was pushing him to be seen. When they called they could not see him until 3:30pm. It was at this point that we called my husband’s dentist and described his symptoms. He wanted to see my son immediately and came in from home to see him right away, took xrays, and diagnosed a large abscess in his front tooth. He then got my son in to see a root canal specialist the same day. Not only did Dr Whiting misdiagnose my son over telehealth and did not listen to my concerns, but the results of waiting around for another 24 hours with a child who has a dental abscess could’ve been devastating. To make matters worse, I called the manager to express my concerns over our care, and she largely defended their actions, making excuses ranging from not seeing patients until they have an opening to covid restrictions as to why they couldn’t see my son in an emergency situation. I will be removing my children from their care ASAP as they have no ability to handle a real dental emergency.

Visits are always quick and efficient. I appreciate that the staff aims questions and conversations towards my child first, as she is the patient. They recognize the importance of her being comfortable speaking for herself. Of course Im right there to defer to should it be necessary. My child has been at this office for 4 years. Services received are bi-annual cleanings as well as Orthodontics. Office staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. I always recommend Eugene Kids Dentist to my friend and clients.

If I can give them a 0 I would. First off I tried for a week to switch my kids insurance to one they accept when I finally did they still insisted that they couldn’t verify insurance. Even tho I made appointments with the other kids dentist office in Springfield right after. The lady on the phone was the RUDEST person I have ever talked to at a dentist establishment. Would never recommend anyone there just off how your treated over the phone as is.

I go here for orthodontics and yearly 6 month cleaning. Dr. Jimmy does an amazing job checking and being very kind to my sensitive teeth. All of the assistants and works in the front are very friendly and kind. They are always making sure you sign up for your next appointment. There office is also very friendly and cute and highly recommend especially for little kids. The staff is also for good wh little kids with dental fear. I totally recommend coming here!

I would not recommend this dental group to friends based on my experience. The office is nice and staff friendly, and if your kids teeth are healthy and just need a quick check up, its fine. If your young kids need treatment for cavities, they use SDF (turns teeth black) and wait until theyre 3 to do anything else. Our new dentist I like much more and does not recommend SDF or waiting till kid gets an abscess and needs a root canal.

Our son, Matt, was badly in need of braces a little over a year ago. A friend recommended Eugene Kids Dentist, and were so glad we went there. They were kind and patient with our son who was nervous about the whole process. As it turned out, they also gave us the most reasonable quote for orthodontics and offered a really good discount if we paid up front. They have been great all the way through, and its been really easy to make and change appointments. Although our son is 18, we still really appreciate the family-friendly atmosphere of the clinic. Seriously, best place for orthodontics in terms of fees and service - you wont be disappointed!

This place is very strict. If your not early your late and the appointment is canceled. I hear staff arguing with parents and Im just done with this place. You are required to call and confirm your appointment or its given away, even though you get a text saying to cancel call this number. Youd figure if you didnt call youd still show up.

The office is very clean and tidy but the wait time is ridiculous my appointment was at 1:30 I showed up at 1:10 for the appointment and waited in the wait room for a hour and a half.. so and now I havent left their office until 435 that is such a waste of time when I can find a faster and efficient office for my child. 4 hours is way to long for a surgery to get a fillings put in!

My son had his very first dentist appt here and was very anxious. The staff went out of their way to make sure his was comfortable and tried to help him be calm. The dentist was very nice and genuine. They didnt push him. Id recommend them to anyone with a child!!

I would not recommend this dental office. We are new to the area and I made appointments here based on reviews. I felt that the staff were impatient and anxious with my children. The hygienist kept trying to pawn my children off to other staff. She seemed in a hurry and was not wanting to clean all their teeth. She didnt seem to work well with children. I felt like the room where the cleanings were done was very chaotic, crammed,and dark. Not at all private or calm. One of my children was diagnosed with 2 cavities. The soonest available appointment was is 3 months! I called around and found a different pediatric dentist who was able to get him in within the week I called. They could not find 1 of the so called cavities. They even took another X-ray to be certain. The other cavity wasnt as bad as Eugene kids dentist led me to believe. They were able to clean it up without the need for anesthetic and seal it. So we went from 2 cavities at Eugene kids dentist to none! Im so glad I went with my gut and changed dental offices!

The second time I attempted to make an appointment for my child as a new patient I was put on hold for approximately 27 minutes, with no more than a Can I place you on a brief hold?. At 27 minutes the office manager answered the holding call with just a Hello I explained that the first time I called approximately 2 weeks ago, I was asked if I could be placed on a brief hold, which of course I agreed to, I hung up after 10 minutes. I will find a different dentist, it is quite clearly unacceptable. I do have an image of the hold time at 24:43 but did not take another, was waiting for the 30 minute mark for another. So if this is seen by any management of this establishment, I would be more than happy to provide the image. Someone doesnt like answering the phones for you...

Yesterday, my youngest son, who has had three open heart surgeries and has his share of PTSD from medical stuff got x-rays. This may seem like nothing to some parents, but he has never allowed them to take x-rays before. The staff has been slowly easing him there, a year ago he wouldnt even walk into the xray room. Six months ago they let him sit in the chair. Well, this visit, we had a young woman who was so kind and patient and willing to be flexible and take her time and go at his place and he not only allowed her to take films, but he also let her lay him back in the chair and clean his teeth! Both firsts were only possible because of the incredible compassion and understanding she showed. I am beyond grateful.

Jacking up the interest monthly with no explanation whatsoever.I paid what was asked of me at the time of the visit and now they keep billing me for more.Very difficult to communicate with.

Receptionists have always been inattentive & unprofessional everytime I have been there with my 4 year old. Dentists have always been nice & informative but always seem to rush you in & out. I also dont appreciate the short and open ended answers they give when questions are asked. They should have patience and give detailed answers.Going somewhere else for sure.

Dr. Hung did a great job helping my little girl feel at ease. She explained in terms easy for kids to understand how important it is to take care of their teeth.

The entire atmosphere was chaotic and rushed, the Hispanic woman at the front desk was very rude to the training girl she put her hands on her shoulders and literally pushed her out of the way and said you need to go over there. They nurses were very rushed didn’t bother to ask abou any concerns nor let you get a word in edge wise, on top of that they are extremely rude if you have other children with you and there is absolutely no privacy everyone’s just running in and out. The dentist are straight to the point and gone in the blink of an eye.

My 20 month old and I had a pretty traumatizing first dentist appointment prior to our first visit today at Eugene Kids Dental. I was SO very nervous leading up to our appointment today, I was truly a wreck. Now as I sit here writing this, Im realizing how unnecessary all that stress and worrying was. Every single person we came across since walking in the door was great. The Dentist was knowledgeable, kind to me, sweet to my kiddo, and most importantly never patronizing. Andrea was also knowledgeable, kind to me, and sweet to my kiddo.Great staff, Eugene Kids Dental! Thank you!

Extremely unhappy with the service we have received. My son went in for a cleaning and consultation. We knew two of his teeth needed work. They wanted to schedule this work 6 months out knowing how bad it was, not a month later we had to call for an emergency appointment to get the two teeth fixed, once we showed up for that appointment that was supposedly only another inspection of the tooth even though we scheduled an emergency appt for both teeth to be fixed. After they decided to only fix one tooth not both, we then called back again to get another emergency appt. By the time we finally got into this appointment where again they just wanted to look at the tooth even though they knew what was wrong they sent my son out to me and told me he now needs his tooth extracted. To say I’m unhappy about this is a huge understatement. Because they continued to push us out and not fix his tooth from the beginning or at his first emergency appt he now has to loose his tooth. This is completely unacceptable! I will obviously be looking for a new place for my kids to go and will not ever recommend this place.

Staff is helpful and patient, Dentists are awesome and extremely helpful with addressing any concerns or issues. Very happy with my experiences there.

This place is so amazing. All of the staff are so kind and actually care about how your experience is and at the same time are very knowledgeable.

Quick clean nice play room and the staff was fun. Great place both my kids come here
