We are from out of town and the water pump and thermostat failed and barely made it back to the Airbnb house from the store about a mile away. The dealership wouldn’t even look at it for 3 weeks and they recommend Sun Automotive. Talked to Josh explained the situation and even though he was booked out for about a week and a half he fit us in that day for a full diagnostic, got the parts ordered and had us back on the road the next day fitting us in between other scheduled repairs. This was my first experience with Sun Automotive and it was a positive one. The team at Sun was clear about what repairs needed to be done and why as well as what wasnt necessary from a laundry list of recommendations the dealer had given me. They texted a link to an inspection on my vehicle that I could view review and talk through before any work was started which included photos of problem spots. They were clear about quotes and those aligned to final expenses. Thanks to the team there for their transparency and use of technology as it made for a comfortable visit to the repair shop.

I needed the passenger side head light replaced, and over the phone was told the job would take about an hour. I arrived and they greeted me, and got right to work on the replacement, and I sat down, expecting to have to be there for an hour or longer.Whit in 15 minutes they were done, I couldnt believe how fast friendly and efficient they were.Ill definitely use them when the need arises...

I just got a response from google and the owner questioning if this was a real review, so Ill elaborate. You worked on my firebird. The reason you dont have a record is because you lost record of my appointment and implied that I had booked at a different location, which I had not. So I waited an additional 2 days for you to look at my car. Then you did not resolve the issues we requested, including the choke light and fuel pump(both issues we resolved by taking to another shop and working on ourselves). You only fixed the headlights. I was just trying to share that I received exceptional poor service.

Ryan and his team are the best out there and take customer service to a new level. I brought my vehicle here over a year ago to have a blown head gasket fixed on the vehicle. The repair was done but somthing was off. I informed them and they then proceeded to look into it, after reviewing the notes they noticed that somthing had not been done correctly by the technician. When they had recognized the problem they took full responsibility and fixed the issue. It was no small fix and they did it without hesitation! I am very grateful for their integrity and ethics.

I had my car towed there when it broke down. I told them the electrical shut down while driving. The alternator probably quit. They quoted me $870 for alternator replacement. I went to Goodyear and was quoted $300. When I picked up car they charged me $135 to diagnose what I told them was wrong. Won’t go there again!

Checked out my new, used car purchase quickly and efficiently and thoroughly. Sun has always listened to me and been very accommodating, in fact they installed a part I provided in the past. Ive been a satisfied customer for 15+ years at 2 of their 3 locations.

I have a custom Silverado that died on me. I called, brought it in, got the diagnosis and the repairs sooner than I expected. They were knowledgeable, helpful, attentive and descriptive of my issues. I was very comfortable leaving my truck here for repairs. Finally, it appears to be running tip top. We then discussed another repair and some custom mods. Its great to find a reasonably priced mechanic with a performance specialist and then feel good about the results. It is a very different experience than I had previously at one of their competitors shop when I had my transmission replaced. I have found the right mechanic for my custom Chevy. Im clear about it.

I got in for a front brake job the same day I called, which was great, since I’m planning a trip to the coast next wk. Everyone was courteous and even allowed my dog to wait with me. The only negative was the estimate of time to do the job was a bit off. The estimate was 2 hrs and I was there 4 hrs.I’m still impressed by the courteous, professional treatment I received, and the work done on my car.

I was referred by several honest upstanding friends then was completely blown away at how well Sun Automotive took care of me. I had seen at least 6 mechanics about my stupid dpf system including two dealerships, these guys are the only ones who truly know diesels. SO satisfied.

My car is a piece of work, but these guys know how to work it. My jeeps compressor belt was shot, and with previous work done by other out of state mechanics, under the hood my car was a nightmare. Even with my tight budget they worked with me and went above and beyond what I expected. Ryan has called and told me you can either do things the right way or the other way. I am more than satisfied and grateful for the work they’ve done!

Dont buy all the phony reviews on this website, this is the worst experience I have ever had with an auto repair shop, and why for 14 years I have bought new vehicles. First the guy never called me back to give me a final estimate, though he said he would. For $1300 they changed a belt, battery, window washer pump, a wheel brake cylinder and never did give me an estimate on the brake life. I also told them NOT to change the oil as I just did, but they did anyway, well come a year later (about 6 k miles) I checked the oil and it was down a quart and a half, which I believe is impossible, and I am certain they only put 4 quarts in when it clearly requires 5. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP, they are more expensive than the dealer and do horrible work.

Sun Automotive is a fantastic shop, they took my truck in super short notice and although it was an easy fix they got me taken care of with prompt service and excellent attitude. They beat the dealership in cost and time, I would definitely recommend them to anyone! I will be bringing my truck back to Sun Automotive in the future!!

Ryan and the techs that worked on my suburban went above and beyond to see that I got what I needed out of my repair work and at the best rate I could get. Really thought they were great.. Did good work.. But after they got +$2,000 out of us for a different fix we got a well call you about a check engine code theyd supposedly done diagnostic work on. No call.
