I cannot say enough about our horrible experiences, and other people I know have have similar stories. They are rude, descriminatory to non whites, and and very unhelpful. We have been trying to resolve an issue with a bill that is clearly their fault and have been on the phone for hours and hours with them over a $60 bill they say we owe but we do not. We have proof of sending emails emails for the past 3 months which they say they did not receive which which are clearly addresses they gave us to send to. Every time we call or go into the office, we have to explain everything over and over again. If I could give them 0 stars I would.
Working with Shelley was literally the most pleasant and enjoyable experience Ive ever had working with an insurance agent. She was incredibly helpful and kind, and worked with me to get me an AMAZING rate and a stellar policy that I can honestly say I am very excited about! Who ever knew one could get so excited over buying insurance?? They were very frustrating. I was given a quote for insurance. I asked them to hold on to this quote to address in 1 week. I then phoned them back and they chose to not even look into. As I am fully accountable for my past wreckage of my unhealthy chouces..... I also feel the gieco office on 18th and chambers was no help at all. I wish I would have got his name. As I hope others realize others get there ducks in a row and choose to be a healthy part of society. Would be nice to be notified by his supervisor

My car was broken into and my speakers and amp was stolen. Filed a claim gave them all the info they needed and never heard back from them until they emailed me saying claim was closed and I chose not to utilise my coverage.... Terrible communication when you need them... But get they are good at telling you when your bill is due. They are a greedy company that looks to robbed you after you been robbed
You can talk to multiple agents and you will get multiple varying information/answers in regards to your policy. Was texted the amount due and the due date. Called in and SPOKE to an agent made the payment in that amount and the agent confirmed my policy was in good standing. 4 days later receive a cancellation policy for that evening. After waiting 20 minutes to speak to someone the first time who told me he “had to call me back because he could not figure out what was going on with my policy”, he never called me back. After waiting another 20 minutes to talk to an agent the same evening, spent 40 minutes of that agent trying to figure out what was going on, was told I had to pay nearly the same amount I just paid 4 days prior, that evening to avoid cancellation.In the confusion she attempted to contact a supervisor. She successfully reached a supervisor who told her, it is what it is, regardless of the texts I had saved and offered to email them showing the amount that was due and that I paid(of which she of course did verify that was paid on the due date), nor the fact that the agent who took my previous payment verified my account was in good standing and my next payment would be a month out. The supervisor told the agent, he declined to speak to me and left her to just attempt to relay his message. Talk about the WORST management you could ask for and a business that gives false information both written and verbally. Unprofessional, inappropriate, terrible management style. The agent stated to me that when I called back in, hopefully I could reach a supervisor that is, “more receptive.”Asked what my NEXT payment would be and it was also a completely different amount in which the agent could not explain.GARBAGE.

The monthly price of my policy is fluctuating wildly and not consistent with what is stated to be charged on my Geico app. The website said they were open until 6pm but when I arrived at 4 the only guy inside said that they were not open and there was nobody there. Sounds like it’s time to find a new auto ins. company.I tried to give them another chance. 2 more times in fact. Unfortunately they were less than helpful. Today they were unable to give me the price of my policy with the changes I requested. Last time I attempted to discuss my account the woman on the phone was most helpful. When I had a question she couldn’t answer I was connected to the owner. The owner was Extraordinarily rude and hostile on the phone. Geico is a fine company I’m sure. But the Eugene office is most unpleasant to deal with.
This company is the best. Saved so much on auto insurance and when needed they have extended the car rental. Also have renters insurance. Have peace knowing that things are covered. :)
I will absolutely not renew my policy with these women. For the past 3 years I have paid my bill religiously except on a couple occasions.Life has been tough due to health problems over the past 2 years and this office has absolutely ZERO compassion towards anyone they dont like.I have plenty of reason to write this review and all ill say is I found a better policy and lower deductible elsewhere with a receptionist that was great to speak with. Safe drivers like me are your money makers. Why? Because we never get in accidents or pulled over and my premium is all net profit unlike a higher risk client that makes claims that you lose money on.I have 0 respect for anyone here. This is the bed you made and youll lay in it. I caught wind of discounts and incentives for this current climate we face in the world and none of them were offered to me after my years of paid premiums.You all are deceptive and I found better insurance. You are no longer of use to me.

I wish I could say I truly hated my experience but I waited on hold so long that I wasnt ever able to speak to anyone. Computerized voice prompts and long hold times are a big deal to me considering the billions that insurance companies rake in every year. Hopefully next time there will be a human available to help me resolve my issue.

I have been trying to get a hold of anyone made 1st call at 5 its now 6.20 Lol. I finally got a human told him whatvI needed he said He needed to get some information about adding my newv5tg wheel to my policy put me on hold then after 5 minutes disconnected me. Never called me back they have my number its on my policy for all my home,vehicles ext.. its absolutely pathetic I will start looking tomorrow for new insurance carriers! I cant believe everyone is using the whole COVID THING TO NOT GIVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have never had an accident (knock on wood) so Ive never needed to use it, but their customer service (Jared) is amazing. I have a pretty bad history with driving, but every year Ive had my policy my premium has gone down...almost 40 a month in the couple years Ive been with them. I added renters insurance and my payment only went up a couple (like 2 or 3 dollars)...they give you discounts for bundeling...overall Im super happy
Fast, efficient, informative, professional service! Had a bad experience with a San Diego branch of Geico about ten years ago and swore off the company. Then I spoke with the Eugene office recently and was blown away by their QUALITY customer service, so am now a happy customer again!

Definitely worst insurance company for personal injuries. Their customer injured me (also 6 months pregnant at the time). Gave my daughter a concussion and my other daughter back problems. Their offer? Less than our medical bills. I am so sick of all this. Good thing we hired a lawyer to make them pay out. Ugh! Long process but Geico will pay in the end. Do not go with this company at all! They are horrible.
You folks do realize your are reviewing the Geico office in Eugene and not the corporate office Right? This office is independently owned by a local Oregonian not Geico corporate.Cathy and her staff are always very helpful and dont mind if you just walk in for questions or a policy change. I am not only 100% satisfied but also Cathy saved us a lot of Money on both of our Fire and Casualty policies after being a progressive customer for 20 years. Making the change to the personalized service I get at this office compared to being a cog in a wheel at progressive has been a good move for us. Thank you Cathy and staff!
If you tell them youre married, instead of lowering your insurance, they will raise it.
If you do business with GEICO be prepared to have your patience tried to the maximum. It is virtually impossible to get a question answered without going through a convoluted maze of menus, transfers, recordings, incompetent people in various locations throughout the country, and lengthy holds during which you will be subjected to bizarre noise that someone at GEICO calls music. You might save a few bucks, but you might also have to spend it later on psychotherapy for shattered nerves.
Our camping trailer has been at camping world in Eugene since December... this entire time we have been waiting on geico to say if the damage is covered or not. It’s been 30 days or more since the agent went and assessed the damage they have assigned at least 3 different people to do so!! Camping world has said they have never seen it take this long! I pay my bill every month on time and they can’t even return a phone call!

I contacted GEICO for a quote. I was quoted $219.25 per month. After extensive contact with the agent, the quote magically rose to $390.05 per month due to new information that was discovered to be inaccurate. My time is very valuable and it was wasted. This is what I would call a bait and switch tactic.
Good Customer Svc. is not hard. Its simply a choice. Please choose to have more care & concern for your clients.

I dont answer their call so they call again right away. Has happened several times over the last few days, all because I did a quote online. Stop spamming me.Collin Hill, I have root, I pay $204 a month for full coverage, gieco quoted me the same plan for $164 a month.
Bad customer seevice, promises were made and not kept, both manager and lady that took care of a wreck made promise about not paying deductable, said of we gave a exelent rating we would not have to pay deductable, well that was a lie, she denied it and manager said we were lieing and making it up so they suck and there advertising is a lie . And there customer service is a joke !

The worst insurance company. Dont recommend them at all.When it comes to compensating for my damages, their appraisal was less than 50% of the actual damages estimated by my cars original company and they prefer not to pay for damages, rather do repairs with their low quality labor rates already in place with local body shops.Their staff lack bacic common sense, very hard to work with, very narrow minded and determined to pay the customer as low as possible. They try to ware you down with lengthi bargaining and multiple appraisals.
Geico blocked me on facebook because i was telling everyone how much i saved with root, i saved $168 A MONTH!!! with root🤣🤣🤣
