This shop is DISGUSTING!!! Everything in it was dirty including the nail tech. The chairs are broken which make the experience of relaxation non existent. She was arguing with some guy who kept knocking on the door, who appeared to be her boyfriend I’m assuming. I didn’t feel comfortable or safe. The polish is old as hell. Then she goes to say it’s her moms hair salon but there was no scent of polish or hair care at all. I just think these people are stealing the customers money. The nail tech seems to have no clue as to what she is doing. BY FAR THE WORSE PLACE TO FO DOR NAILS CARE. This place should be shut down.

My daughter went here today to get her nails done for her birthday. She says the first strike was when she asked the lady if she could do nail art. My daughter showed her the pic and the lady bluntly says No, I cant do that. When my daughter made the appt she asked if they do nail art. I was told after that the lady was very rude, unprofessional, and complained about how tired she was. When your dealing with the public your always supposed to have your game face on. YOU choose your occupation. Your clients should never have to feel, nor experience YOUR blow back from a bad day. After all, they choose YOUR business to spend their money with. Shell never go back, and well be sure to tell anyone we know about her experience. Do better queen. It doesnt take much to fix your crown. Just a little more dedication, and compassion. Be blessed🙏🏾

After a week my nails started to lift. They were cool tho.

The candy shop... I dont know where to begin. I was told they were a good place to get a gel manicure. I made an appointment and when I got there I was happy to be the only one being serviced. The conversation was friendly and the atmosphere was calm. While getting my nails done the nail tech told me she was only 17 I didnt think much of it at the time because I know you have to be licensed to work at any shop. When I was done my nails looked nice. Nice enough for me to leave a tip. Later that evening I noticed some peeling on one nail and then on two more by the next day. Then I started to wonder if the tech had licensed because this had never happened to me before. It was hard to determine if my tech was licensed especially since her and the owner(her mom) have the same name. I called, the lady was nice she told me to come back in. Even though my time is limited and due to the virus I really dont like to make unnecessary trips. I went.... my nails were soaked and scrubbed, soaked and scrubbed so much my natural nail beds were Raw. So I asked can you just put on a top coat to give my nails time to heal. She did and before I left the owner gave me $20 of my money back. That didnt make me happy because I came for a simple service and left in pain and disappointed. Now I cant have any type of polish until my nail beds heal. So if you want tips or overlays thats the place. But if you pride yourself in your natural nails go somewhere else BECAUSE THEY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH NATURAL NAILS.

My nail tech Mz MercyJ is the best. The other ladies in the shop are amazing as well. The shop is clean & the atmosphere is warming to the soul, and welcoming.

My first time going and it was a good experience. I was listen to and received what I want (as far as color and length). Overall good service with the scheduling and availability.I would definitely go back.

The staff is very friendly and funny. Theyre professional and I am so glad I found them. They got me in and out and I was entertained the entire time. I definitely would recommend them to everyone!!

The ladies that work at this establishment are very nice and pleasant, however they do bad work very disappointing and slow overcharged . Disorganized didn’t have the color I requested polish is cheap as well do not waste your money nor time and if you come here because it’s A black owned business ( like myself ) DO NOT, reroute. The staff was bickering back and fourth in front of they customers the shop is very little.

My mom and I arrived in town 24 hours before a friends wedding, and called The Candy Shop to see if they had any openings. She was full, but called back a few minutes later: shed contacted another customer who agreed to move her appointment so we could get in before the wedding!The pedicures were FANTASTIC! Both technicians did a great job, adjusted the water temp exactly how each of us preferred, and kept us laughing the whole time. Our toes look great, my feet are in great shape for a weekend of sandals. My mom got nail art, and its really lovely.We can definitely recommend The Candy Shop!

I dont see how this place has some many good reviews. Maybe they convince the customers to give them a good review like they suggest I do. I try to support black owned businesses, but my visit was the worst experience that Ive ever experienced from a nail salon. The salon is super small and old, the nail polish is old, and the nail tech is horrible. Crystal is her name, she is by far the worst nail tech. My hands never burned some much until she applied that cheap acrylic on my nails, she didnt know how to file my nails into the shape I wanted, she kept hitting my skin. My nails broke off not even a week after this visit. And they charge you taxes! Im going to report to BBB because Ive never been charged taxes at a nail salon. If you want something cheap and fast, then this is the place for you.

They were nice and friendly. Wonderful service. I got my feet done so nice. They even clip your toenails.. oooh.. I had a foot bath. That was really nice.like new feet....YES, my favorite saying POSTED ON THE CORNER !. wonderful place..

This Solon is privately owned,and appointment only. I came in needing a balance badly and the owner her self took great care of me. My nails look A1. I couldnt have been happier with my choice. Great people great prices.

Although the ladies were very nice and accommodating, i did not likethe service i got. I told the young lay i needed a soak off and a new set because my natural nail was separating from the acrylic. Instead, she filed under the nail to try to make it blend so i wouldnt need a new set. Ultimately wearing away my natural nail and the nail still lifted and my gel polish peeled away the next day. My pedi was ok except the fact that the tech was trying to do what she wanted. I always have an accent nail. She put it on my pinky toe... The toe no one sees when you wear your cute sandals and she didnt use a to coat. Overall, i was refunded my money for my nails and that was a plus and the ladies were nice.

I went to get my nails done yesterday and I was very satisfied....great location...easy to find....the staff was very friendly and all the ladies seem to enjoy what they do as well and that helps with the quality of service they provided....I also liked the prices as well....I will definitely be going back and recommend this place to others!!!!!
