I had my nails down recently for my wedding on Sat! To say I am pleased is an unstatement. I am absolutely thrilled!!! They came out better then the photo. This place is super busy though so be prepared to wait a bit or make an appt. They deserve all the business they get.

Ugliest nails Ive ever gotten my whole life. They are patchy, gel was left under my nails and the sides of my nails, making them look and feel so fat and uncomfortable. They are not even the same length or same shape as the others. So disappointed. I will never come back.

Just moved to town and needed a new salon. My best friend and I came as a walk in and were immediately taken care of. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did it perfectly

I have been fraud by credit card when I put amount of tips and they did added more without I know till I found on bank account..That twice I would never go there ever again… Be care when you used credit card so best use CASH only… Poor service

I saw the reviews about John and called to schedule an appointment with him, the lady who answered said she didn’t know his schedule and hung up on me! I will not be going there EVER, John I’m sorry your staff just turned away a potential new customer for you!

My family and I loved coming here. Until this last time we went. My Mom got a pedicure, they did not cut her nails. And they did a sloppy job. I got a powder deluxe manicure and a deluxe pedi. They didnt do any but cut the nails. No soak on the mani, or cubical cleaning. I was very disappointed. It was rushed, it seemed they wanted us outta there fast. Will not be returning.

They’re very good at what they do and make sure to fully file down and coat the nails many times with the gel. They shaped the acrylics perfectly - I asked for every other nail to be black, and pink in between. I loved the end result.

I went there after trying to get my nails done by myself because I made a mess and Jonathan took care of my nails. He did a great job and saved me! I love my new nails 😁🤩

Very accommodating. they do take their time however, its quality work. But if youre in a hurry, go to some other location.

The lady that I got was rushing to do my nails and toes and in the beginning, my nails were crooked and she kept telling me that it’s not the nails it’s my fingers and I’m pretty sure I wasn’t born with crooked nails. I asked her to also do a white flower on my ring finger and she told me she didn’t have time, even though she did. I will probably never go back.

There are two places I will go for my nails in north county.... This is one of them. Im a licensed manicurist and I am incredibly fussy. If Im going to pay someone to do what I can do for free they better do a better job than I can. I was watching a lot while I was getting my nails done.... They are VERY clean here. They even have sealed kits for pedicures with little files and tools and they used new ones for different people. Like they should! Its not a place to go if you want a quick cheap job. They take their time and make sure they do it right. Everyone is really nice and you actually come out with what you wanted and its pain free! Like it should be!** Ive always gone to John, but today I went in for a repair and polish change with Mike. LOVE him!!! Both of them are very much perfectionists. Mike is super legit with design and has soooooo much exciting stuff! I love John, but... Mike is definitely who to go to for super meticulous nails with awesome designs!

Me and my mom have been going to John for years now since living in Escondido for the last 8 years! Today I got nails perfect for fall. I got a darker orange with cheetah print.

Very well run salon, all covid requirements in place for safety. They were raided by the police so they may have been put out of business. Please show them your support.

Great establishment. They get busy so if you dont have an appointment plan on waiting. John the owner is great. Lately Ive been going to Brian to have my fill.

Very professional and they sincerely care about their customers. They were overbooked at our appointment, my daughter ended up having to reschedule. However, management was extraordinarily apologetic and promised to make it right. Regardless of the long wait, they are very, very professional.

Overpriced to get your nails done. My nails came out horrible, so crooked and my polish was bumpy. 10/10 would not recommend save your money I had to go somewhere else because they messed up my nails so bad it was a joke I honestly don’t think they know what they were doing.

DONT COME HERE!!! The workers are rude and they all laughed at me, it was super embarrassing and I just wanted to leave but I tried to brush it off. I got a full set of black stiletto nails and was charged $57 which I don’t mind but not even 24 hours later my nail broke and the gel polish was peeling. I also had a terrible experience on the phone and they were extremely rude when I asked how much it was to get it repaired, which is $5 per nail, which usually other places do for free especially if it’s just been one day. Please don’t go here and save you’re money the people and extremely rude, overpriced, and terrible quality.

I gave a 3 because i was a walk in and was offered a chair. The part that bothered me was the person that started the process stopped, after running water for pedicure and told me the lady would be there in a min. Two other people walked in and their pedicures was sitting waiting for them right next to me while I sat waiting to get my nails done. If that wasnt bad enough the person they gave me was finished before the other two ladies and I sat waiting for her 5 min before she even came out. It wasnt a deluxe experience either. Then to top it off I was charged for a manicure and a pedicure. I paid and walked out, Im done. One day I hope to find a good nail shop in Escondid, that gives equal service to all races. It saddens me even more because I was under the impression that they were Christian, (from the music they play). For now I guess I will go back to doing my own nails. 😕

Best Nail place in north county. Recently opened, customer service is excellent. Mike is a master with manicures, acrylics you name it. Im always nervous about doing my toes but she made me feel comfortable and did an amazing job. Great foot massage too. Trish did my eyelash extensions. They are very natural looking which is what I wanted. Amazing job. Always feel happy leaving this place.

I’ve been with Sophia since 2006. She recently moved from one nail shop to this one and I really like this place. They are great in both service and friendliness. Hours of operation are great and even then they will accommodate late Walk-Ins.I have never witnessed them use aggressive sales tactics or force upgrade services. It’s honest and ofCourse nails always look beautiful

I got a manicure and pedicure and it was amazing. When I go out with my friends they say to go to this other amazing salon that was terrible and the next time I said to go to this salon it was very high quality and they love it now. If Im gonna go get my nails done I definitely go here because it is my GO TO PLACE! Love their nice quality and the people are so nice.

Definitely go see Paula or Candie. Paula will beat the hell out of your hands but its worth it because my cuticles and acrylics have never looked better. Candie is awesome at pedicures, she pays so much attention to detail and my feet always feel so soft and delicate after seeing her.

Sophia is great. Tried one of the guys when she was out & he had just finished eating and was picking his teeth, which grossed me out so now only let sohpia do my nails otherwise I go elsewhere where they dont charge extra to pay with credit card.

After reading the reviews of this place I was eager to make an appointment and get in. This was my very first time coming in so I let them choose for me and I ended up getting Mike. He ended up doing an AMAZING job! What I really liked about him is how he took his time and never rushed unlike most salons do to try and get to the next person. My recommendation is to call make an appointment so you dont have to wait and make sure you have the time available cuz it will be a while. I honestly was okay with the amount of time he took because he made sure everything was perfect literally! I didnt once have to tell him to fix a nail a certain way, all I said in the beginning was that I wanted coffin snapped nails and he totalled nailed it in the end! Also, I wanted a little Valentines day touch so I asked him if he could add a rose on one nail per hand and it turned out gorgeous all done by hand. His work is beautiful and he exceeded my expectations above and beyond and I absolutely love the end result of my nails! 100% recommend this place! Thank you! I will be back!

This was one of my favorite places to get manicure and pedicures, but God forbid you come in asking just to get nails removed! All of them were rude and looked at me weird just because that’s all I wanted to get done today. The woman who took my nails off was incredibly rude and was clearly talking about me and making signs towards me, my experience ended with her pretty much slapping down the bill for me to pay and leave. It was my one of my favorite places but will no longer be going and I do not recommend it to anyone who wants something simple done.

I am sorry to hear that some people are not happy with the service here. I have tried just about every nail salon in the Escondido area, and this is by far the best. If you say yes to extra services, it is your responsibility to make sure you have a clear agreement on the cost. They also give a discount for cash, which was a nice surprise.

I am a licensed cosmetologist myself, and I know what to look for as far as sanitation and disinfection go... and sunflower is extremely clean which is a big one for me. Not to mention, I LOVE the workers especially my boy JOHNNY!!! The salon has a great atmosphere, very relaxing, and fun! I highly recommend. I live in Oceanside and make the drive repeatedly cause I leave so happy everytime!

Horrible just Horrible, I walked in and a man said what did I need done and I said a design on my nails for valentines and he straight said no I have no time and left me standing there and totally ignored me, I asked do you know when you will have time and never answered me..omg so rude, he didnt even give me a chance to say I wanted a pedicure spa I just left so un wanted there!! Never going back again,, and it was my first time there!

Went here because I saw a bunch of great reviews. I dont mind paying $40+ for a good set of nails. I moved to Escondido a year ago and have had trouble finding a good nail salon. I usually get my sets to last 5-6 weeks. My first BRAND NEW set with Sunflower only lasted 2 weeks before the top coat was peeling off. I brushed it off and went back a week after that. I paid $55 for a fill with gel, glitter, and some rhinestones. Again not an issue for me as long as they last. Well, 5 days later one of my nails broke! Not even a week!Heres where they lost me as a customer. I go back to have it fixed. The male manager tells me to sit at a table without greeting me. I think hes probably just busy and brush it off. He comes back after talking to the other workers and I try to explain how it hasnt even been a week and Im sad the nail broke. He proceeds to fix the nail silently and honestly being pretty hostile. It felt like I was in trouble. He was just pushing my hand around to direct me. He wouldnt even tell me what he wanted. Once he fixed it, he charged me for it! I asked Seriously? I paid $55 less than a week ago and you want me to pay? To which he so rudely snaps back, well YOU broke it. I have never felt so mistreated at a salon. I have a double wrist injury so I cant use my hands frequently or be rough. So I know it wasnt my fault. But regardless, even if I was too hard on my nails, they should be guaranteed at least a week!Overall, this place is too overpriced for the quality and customer service.

I went in yesterday for the first time for a pedi and I loved it. I didn’t get the ladies name but she did a very good job. This place is very welcoming.

My daughter and I walked in to get our eyebrows waxed about 2 weeks ago.Great job!!!! Great service. Very clean. However, I give it 3 stars because when it came time to pay, the price I was being charged was different from what I was told when I asked and SHOWN in the brochure when we first walked in!!! It wasnt $1.00 difference either! We will return however, we will make it a habit to ALWAYS ASK WHAT we will be charged before the service. I must say when I caught them doing this they gave my daughter and I a $5.00 discount card to return. So beware. I will re-rate this salon after our 2nd visit.

I went in to get a pedicure and I was amazed. My pedicure turned out great and the customer service was great as well. They were very friendly and nice. I will definitely be going back.

Busy place, however, was able to fit 2 of us in on walk-in. Very clean and foot massage portion of the pedicure was fairly long. They unfortunately dont have razor to remove heavy calluses on heal.

They always do such a good job! The gel pedicure lasts for months!

I feel really bad about leaving this review, but I had such a bad experience today. This was my first time there and I went because of the reviews.Pros: chairs were nice, there was a guy there by the name of Jonny who seemed very friendly (he didnt do my nails)Cons: I had an appointment for a pedicure but when I told the guy at the front, he just wouldnt understand me and kept talking about manicures and fill ins. Then he walked back to another guy who then asked if I was there for a full set. So for the 3rd time I told them I was there for a pedicure and I had made an appointment. Then an older lady with glasses on started working on me and she was super rough. She cut me by my cuticles several times and I was bleeding, she then poured acetone on it (burrrrn). Then she was very roughly filing the top of my nails and my already raw cuticles, so I kindly told her I was hurting, which made her mad and she kept being rough, trying to push my already non existing cuticles back with a sharp object. I wish I would have just stopped her and leave at that time.. Then several times she bumped the UV light into my nails. My left foot was still not cured but She was ready to give me a massage, but instead of the lotion she accidentally poured some liquid on me and the UV lamp. She started cleaning that with a towel, not remembering that my left foot wasnt cured, and I watched her in fear as she was flapping the towel around my nails, not remembering that they werent cured. Then I got a maybe 2 minute massage.Top of the cake, she never entered my expense into the register nor gave me a receipt. I hate confrontation and I gave her a 20% tip.It is now 10 hours later and the cuticles on my big toes are red, burning, and inflamed. I have never ever had this happen to me.I will never be back :(

I have gone to this nail salon for about a year always have had great service, however when I came in today I had a very rude and abrasive nail tech. She tried to humiliate me in the salon by making it about the cost and how it made no sense to fill and fix 3 other nails. no problem paying for someone’s hard work but no reason to be rude and demeaning I can pay full price for someone who is professional and kind to their customers. Wish I caught her name, everyone else in there is very pleasant! Unfortunately I will be finding another salon.

Not sure why I get charged differently for the same work each time but they do good work (acrylics/gel).

Went there the other night. Very nice enviorment beautiful pedicure bowls, however was not happy or impressed with customer service. Got told I was getting gel and then I picked out a very blush pink and ended up getting neon pink. Very pushy to make the mighty buck.

Not worth $40. Went in because they have good reviews online but left unhappy and never going back! There was acrylic all over my nails, on the inside and on my skin. Nails came out bulky so I went back and someone else fixed them. I was still not happy with the outcome but didnt want to wait another hour to get them fixed! Definitly not worth $40!

Dont let the young man in here do your nails. I asked for narrow, thin, medium length nails. He cut them short, had so much acryllic on them,, super fat. I told him and he said he couldnt do it, and started filing away, real aggressively. I said id never be back & will go somewhere else to fix what he just did. He still charged $48 for a full set of nails. Terrible here.They are not even licensed...horrible nails
