I have been going to Vista Ridge Dental Care for several years now and I have had many good experiences. Dr. Kimble is very kind and thoughtful in caring for my teeth. When I was having bite issues she recommended a mouth guard which has really helped me not to clinch my teether and reduce pain in my mouth. The hygienists have been very thorough in cleaning my teeth and often leave me with helpful tidbits on how to better care for my teeth.

Had a crown come off while visiting the area so I needed emergency service. Sam was wonderful on the phone, Kendra was super gentle and competent during the visit and Dr. K. was very helpful and skilled. I would highly recommend this practice! Wonderful.

Great people--explain everything. the atmosphere is one of happiness--laughter: not always what one encounters in a dentist office. But most of all, i felt competent people, both the doc and Kendra the assistant knew what they were doing. I am happy i found them

Best experience with the Vista Ridge Dental team. They got me in for an emergency visit right away. Dr. K was friendly, professional and did a great job explaining all the things. I’m not the best with needles but she did an excellent job making me comfort. Highly recommend this crew. My tooth is now fixed and awesome!

Probably going to be getting a lot of one stars soon. Sent me to collections (first time in 25 yrs) without ever sending me a bill (apparently from 2019). Ive always paid my copay when Im there. Called and was promised a call back in 7 to 10 days from the manager while she researched all of these. Easy way to lose a customer.

This is an excellent dentist office. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. During my recent visit the hygienist spent nearly an hour cleaning my teeth thoroughly and removing all of the staining from accidentally using stannous fluoride toothpaste (you should only use sodium fluoride). The location of this office is easy to get to and there is ample parking. Overall Id highly recommend this dentist office.

This dentistry is terrible. I had one of the worst experiences of my life at a dentistry, when I was supposed to get a crown. The dentist left mid way through working on my temporary crown, and gave the job to some sort of intern (who really didnt know what they were doing). My temporary crown fell out over the weekend and I was in a lot of pain. Had to transfer to another dentistry where the botched job was fixed - thankfully. Further, had a chipped tooth fixed here (just a few weeks prior) and again it didnt hold. Turnover is high here and the work is not up to any sort of standard - its just a shoddy place. Im so glad I left.

The staff was very easy to work with from scheduling through checkout. I was taken back on time, and Dr Kimball was thorough in discussing procedures, options, and her analysis. This was my first time with a new dentist in 20 years and was very apprehensive. I left feeling like I had made a good choice and will be scheduling future appointments with them.

Ive always been very embarrassed by my teeth, but the staff at this clinic have never made me feel bad about it, just offered straightforward services. Ive always felt free to ask about procedures, whether they were necessary, etc. Im really bad with names, but Ive never had anything but positive experiences with the staff, from doctors to hygienists to receptionists. Ive also never had any problems with billing, but I know thats just me.

Great people and very nice but their billing department is completely flawed, incompetent, and fraudulent. They will send you a bill before insurance has gone through, then they will send you a second bill weeks later after insurance has gone through. If you pay the first one, then pay the second one, then you are paying twice. I called them on it and they told me that I didnt have to pay the first bill if insurance has not gone through... So why send the first bill? To get people to pay twice?? How many times has this happened to other people who didnt catch this like I did?The last time I went to them was in January 2020, I canceled with them in June, and in July I received a bill for $445 for our visit in January. This doesnt make sense. Called them on it again and they said that somebody is working to correct it. Here we are in November, I continue to receive this bill monthly for $445. Very annoying and in my eyes Insurance Fraud

My fiancee and I came here for check-ups after moving to the area. I have never been so put off by a place where Ive entrusted my health. My insurance information was never taken before the appointment, even though I had given it to them, resulting in me paying for everything up front.The hygienist did not introduce herself or properly describe procedures, and failed to properly take mouth x-rays a number of times so that I had something like 20 total (a massive amount of unnecessary radiation). I was encouraged to pay for a large number of additional treatments that Ive never had to do, and even had to schedule a second appointment to complete a treatment (I was not told I had to do this prior).The dentist was unprofessional and equated dental health to wiping after the restroom. He treated a filling as all we have to do today, as if it was routine, when I have never in my life needed a filling, even after going to a dentist I trust only a few months prior. I didnt feel the least bit that I could trust him with my health.The billing process, as others have described, was protracted and painful. After they finally, properly submitted my insurance claim, I was not paid back until many months after my date of service, and even many weeks after the insurance confirmed they had reimbursed the practice.Avoid this practice at all costs.

This is my first ever dentist review since I typically dislike and avoid the dentist office at all costs. But, THIS was by far the best experience at a dentist I have ever had. The office was welcoming and the staff was so pleasant and made me comfortable right away. The dentist listened to me and told me exactly what he was doing and why. He injected some humor into the conversation and shared with me about himself and his values. He educated me about brushing and mouth rinse even-practical tips I have never known. Excellent place.

Felt very frustrated upon walking in speaking to receptionist. Per request I sent in my new patient information forms prior to the visit (a month in advance) and the girl stated, “oh yeah we don’t really do anything with that if you email it back to us. I don’t have anything here for you so go ahead and fill it back out”. It was 3 pages and it wasn’t a big deal, but felt frustrated as a new patient to loose confidence in the office immediately upon checking in. Also felt frustrated that a PPE fee is required, yet not verbally told of this.The dental assistant was very kind, but clearly in learning phase. I felt I would have appreciated more of a statement than gathering together after he’d mentioned mistakes & didn’t verbally state his next plan prior to taking action (use of utensils— water/ air/ suction) it was more or less just surprises of what was coming. Xrays were painful & have never been in the past.I’ve been to other offices that make you wear goggles during cleaning to prevent the back splash of the hydro cleaner, was not offered here. We all joked of how lucky I was to be at the dentist and getting a facial.Dr Kimball WAS AMAZING! super sweet, appropriately chatting, provided good patient education & kept me informed. Really really liked her!!

The dentist is very nice and very thorough. She had a great bedside manner. Dental hygienist was also very nice. Look her time cleaning my teeth and did a great job.

Dr. Laura is bomb dot com, a sort of easygoing competent energy thats, I think, some kind of scientific formulation of exactly what one wants in a dentist. That would be five stars on its own, but all the staff I met were fun and charming, interesting to chat with, and they even found that incredible balance of being able to talk to me while I was in the chair without needing me to respond through a mouth full of, you know, dentistry. Also, they use the water jet things so they dont pick at your mouth with metal, and I am pretty sure it took a lot less time than what I was used to as a result.

Friendly staff. Was in and out in a efficient time. Excellent work performed by all. Very clean and sanitized.

Got my wisdom teeth removed from what was a tricky procedure with its proximity to the nerve, so I was put under anesthesia. Procedure went well and staff was good at walking me through it. Overall, it was a good experience.

First visit for me after years of being shuffled through a dental provider that wasn’t consistent from one appointment to the next. How refreshing it was to have the we care back into my dental health. Very professional and very pleasant staff throughout the facility! Very nice. All the staff members including receptionist, nurses and doctor are very friendly and helpful. I took my mom aged >60 to this place and they made sure that she is comfortable and relaxed before they started the treatment. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and families.

I went here right after they were allowed to open post-COVID lockdown and felt very safe. The entire office was immaculate and many safety features had been put in place. The dental hygienist was wonderful and very good at her job. I would recommend Vista Ridge Dental Care to anyone who asks.

I dont particularly like getting my teeth cleaned, as the scaling usually causes me to HURT, but obviously its only for a bit, but today Rachel was my hygienist and she was AMAZING! LOVE LOVE HER! I have been happy with Vista Ridge Dental and all the employees there, and they were great with my 8 year old son too!

I am new to the area and called to get a new patient cleaning. The lady who answered the phone was very helpful in helping me schedule a cleaning as my schedule is very hectic. When I arrived the day of my appointment, I was greeted by name. Emily, who cleaned my teeth was very thorough and explained to me everything that she was doing and why she was doing it, she was also very gentle and made sure I was comfortable during the whole appointment. When Dr. Laura came in to introduce herself she was also very thorough and didnt make me feel bad for the treatment that needed to be done. I would very much recommend this office to my friends and coworkers.

The facility is clean and the staff is competent.I travel a lot and had to reschedule my appointment several times. Getting a real person on the phone to accomplish this proved challenging. Multiple calls to the call center days out with no reply until within 24 hours of the originally scheduled appointment. Which they don’t grant refunds for. They didn’t change me extra, I just think their call center needs a kick start.As I said, they seemed competent with the routine check-up and cleaning. They have the latest Dental technology. The confidence factor seemed to be missing though as the staff seemed to be unnecessarily apologetic about their normal cleaning processes. I felt like a simple. You good? After doing a suction to clean up some spray, would be more effective than apologizing to the point, I felt I had to assure the dental assistant everything was truly fine in order to continue. This was my third visit to the office. I thought they were relatively new when I first visited, and just assumed the new staff were just trying to get to know each other and how the doctor wanted to do business.I’m just not digging the customer service or the level of confidence I appreciate experiencing at a dentist office, so I’ve decided to try another dentist.

This is a night and day difference from the mass chain dentist we came from. Extremely thorough and friendly. Great cleaning experience for my teenage kids as well as myself. State of the art technology used for maximum results. Glad we chose Vista Ridge Dental.

Being a person who was afraid of a dentist Vista Ridge have made my visits an outstanding experience. They really care and did everything possible to make it easy for me. More than that I appreciated how they explained each procedure which totally put me at ease. For the first time in my life I am happy to visit a dentist - totally professional yet a family feel.

The old practice was bought out and I was not told until after they started cleaning my teeth. Everyone is new there. I had the worst cleaning in a long time. The equipment was faulty. Again I wasnt told the water pik would drip all over me until the cleaning started. I had a new hygienist whose fingernails kept pressing into my gums. She kept doing it even after I told her so I am not sure she knew how to clean without doing that. I give her a star for her efforts and professionalism. My cleaning lasted an hour. I did not get xrays, an oral exam, or fluoride treatment yet I was charged more than I ever had been and was there for the longest time. After having found my local dentist finally, I will have to start over.

They are amazing! They fit my son in when he had an emergency, and where so patient and so kind to him. My son is special needs and they made him even feel comfortable in his space. They never once made me feel like they did not care for us. My son ended up needing more work so they referred us to an amazing pediatric dentist. I had a great experience at vista ridge dental, they made time for me and my busy schedule, when I got there I was greeted by a welcoming and professional staff, and did not have to wait around. They have state of the art equipment, that provided a more comfortable and quicker visit that I have had. The entire time my hygienist kind and kept me informed of what they were doing. When the Dr Lewis came in he was very professional and answer all my questions. I felt very comfortable the entire time I was there.

Seriously the nicest and warmest medical office Ive ever been in---from reception to support staff, to the dentist herself. Im relatively new to the area and needed to go in for a routine cleaning, and Im happy I chose Vista Ridge Dental. The exam was thorough and extremely gentle, and I appreciated that my hygienist, Emily, explained everything she was doing---probably great for people who are apprehensive about going to the dentist! I feel like my dental health is in good hands with them, and I would recommend them highly to anyone looking for a new practice.

Dr. Lewis and his staff are outstanding! I had a cycling accident that chipped my two front teeth, I ended up needing a root canal and crown on one tooth, and a veneer on the other. Absolutely no pain on my root canal, and my smile honestly looks better than my natural one did before. Dr. Luis has an attention to detail that I havent seen from other dentists. Highly recommended!

Just like everyone else its been great with the dental and cleanings but lets not even get started with the billing and waiting about a year for information about insurance payments or credits. You will get Bills from a year to two years ago. It takes 3 to 6 months to get a bill then a year for them to send it to you. Their office does to many practices and its to overwhelming for their staff to get stuff right. I was told to get 2 xrays because the staff and their dentist were not on the same page. I will find a dentist office that just does dental and if you need braces just go to dr caraway.

Ive been a patient here for 5 years and the primary dentist has changed twice, but Dr. Kimball is so great that Ill keep coming here despite having moved from Erie to Denver. Shes the friendliest dentist Ive met (both with patients and other staff) and thanks to her, Im getting specialized care that I didnt know I needed. Also, huge shout out to Sam at the front desk for being so nice and helpful every time I call or come in. :)

Problem started when I walked in and found out the appointment I made on the phone did not make it to the schedule.They squeezed me in and almost wished they didn’t. The process was rushed and it felt u professional. I’ll be going to another dentist to fix lower fillings done at this office. Cracked tooth is another issue. Money upfront take it in the.....

Dr. Freel explained what was going to happen, and made sure I was numb before drilling two cavities and putting in fillings. The receptionist scheduled my next appointment and I was on my way. Very quick, caring and efficient.

The cleanings I have received there have been just fine, but billing is a NIGHTMARE! They still havent billed my insurance from an appointment almost a year ago. Every month I call and they say they will sort it out. The next month, I get another bill and my insurance still hasnt been billed. No one follows up with me. No one fixes the problem.

I usually dread seeing the dentist but I had a fantastic experience at vista ridge!! Everyone was helpful, friendly and genuine. You truly get the feeling that all employees are looking out for your health and giving you honest feedback. I highly recommend Vista Ridge Dental!!

My initial appointment for cleaning, exam and xrays. Doctor could not do exam because an urgent need for someone else. Great staff - hygienist was very thorough and interactive. This was a great choice for a replacement dentist. Looking forward to quarterly cleaning visits - got some excellent recommendations for self-care.

The office staff and hygienists have always been friendly but Ive been coming here regularly for a few years and Ive only seen the dentist a couple times. Apparently the most recent one is gone and a new one starts soon. Hopefully this one will be more regularly available for the patients.

Dr. Laura (no card was given, so I dont know her last name) did a poor job on my front tooth filling. I was in and out of the office in 20 min, after which I felt really uncomfortable for several days till the next appointment was made to correct the basics, i.e - resurfacing and polishing (dont know the technical terms) which should of been done in a first place. The experience was unpleasant, wont come back.

I have been coming here for about 3 years, primarily because the hygienist is great and I dont really have any major dental issues. However, the dentist Laura Kuhne has no bedside manner. Barely talks to her patients and has her face covered with a mask. She did not show up at all for my last two visits and I only saw the hygienist. When I go to a dental appointment, I expect to actually see a dentist. Due to all the choices in the area, I am going to try some other dental practice.

Ive been using them for 6 years now, and always get excellent care and advice. I went in for a teeth cleaning, and the hygienist took the time to explain what she was seeing, and then did an outstanding and thorough job of cleaning my teeth. Everyone has always been extremely friendly over the years.

I’ve been taking my children to the same dentist for 7 years and we *LOVE(D)* him so you can imagine my distress when I realized that he was no longer in-network for our (fantastic) new dental insurance. I spent the better part of a day looking for a new dentist. What a disheartening experience.I went into the Vista Ridge Dental Care office just knowing that I would find it lacking. Not because they were subpar, but just because they weren’t my “friends” at our old dentist’s office.I was pleasantly surprised!Of course the office was clean and the staff polite, that’s a given. But when I started interacting with the staff, my heart started to ache less. They were professional, yet friendly and clear, conscientious in their communication.And then I met Dr. Martin. He walked in and I just knew that he and my 16-year old son would click!I’m a little more of a skeptic but as the visit went on, I began to feel more and more comfortable with him.I will review again because it’s only time that will tell! But I can assure you that my first experience with this office was FIRST RATE!

The first part of the visit was great. The hygienists were great and they were very gentle when cleaning my teeth. Then I waited 45 minutes for the doctor and he spent two minutes in the room with me.

I have a terrible fear of Dentists. However Vista ridge made me feel at ease. And in the few moments I talked with Dr. justice, I had total confidence in him.Procedure went well and now 6 hours later feeling good

So friendly and I like that they have a new payment plan for people that dont have great credit. They always try to get you in and accommodate apts to your schedule.

This dental office is so money-hungry it is absolutely ridiculous. The doc immediately jumped to the conclusion that I needed a root canal when I told him one tooth was sensitive to heat. The financial office manager came in minutes later and started breaking down the price for a root canal and how soon they could get me in for the procedure. It was a whirlwind. I have comprehensive dental insurance and get this...they still quoted me nearly $1k out of pocket! This just didnt sound right to me. So I ended up requesting my medical/dental records from them (which they were not happy I was doing) and sought a second opinion. I am so happy I went elsewhere because another dentist did a very thorough exam and said that tooth is completely healthy and does not need a root canal. I need some minor adjustments (replace the old filling and also get a new night guard as I grind) which will cost a grand total of $200 out of pocket. What a massive difference at over the grand I nearly dropped at Vista Ridge Dental. Save yourself the time and cash...go elsewhere!!!!

I have been to this clinic for 3 times and I chose to go there only because it is closer and I saw some good reviews in google. I definitely agree that their front desk staff and dental hygienists are wonderful. But I am very disappointed with Dr Lauras treatment. In the first 2 visits she was very cold and just asked me if I had any concerns. But the last time I was there for a filling I had a horrible experience. Most of the people become very nervous during dental procedure. Here I am on the bed waiting for the doctor, she comes in said,Hi, how are? and then asked me to open my mouth and boom there was a shot for local anesthesia in my mouth. I was shocked.I wasnt told beforehand that she was injecting a medicine in my mouth. I atleast expected to be told about the procedure. Then she left, assistant told me it will be almost 5 minutes for the tooth to be numb. The doctor came back said nothing started filling and left. No after care instructions were provided. It was very unprofessional. I had never expected such a terrible service or had experienced from my previous dentists. Thats the reason I am giving 1*. My husband wanted to go there as well. I was like Hell NOO. I am definitely changing the dentist.

Ive been here three times for cleanings/checkups, and its always a good experience. Always professional. Good advice. They never keep me waiting a long time.

This is a wonderful dentist! They were prompt and really friendly. I felt at ease from the moment I stepped in the door. Very clean.

After visiting numerous other dentists in the area, I was skeptical. Once inside, I was happy to talk with Dr. Martin and the hygienist. They are courteous and will look at all possible treatments as opposed to suggesting an invasive treatment. While having a cavity filled, I was comfortable and did not feel any pain. Dr. Martin made sure to inform me of the plan and kept me updated on how things looked inside my mouth, using a camera. He was even able to locate a cavity that had formed under a filling from when I was a child. I will surely be going back and will definitely refer friends!

There shouldnt be any stars if you hated the service at Vista Ridge Dental. Ive been going here for the past 8yrs and the office went through 4 dentists and 3 hygienists. I had no complaints until now because the administrative staff and dental staff was always professional and friendly. I LOVED Dr. Casey and hygienist Angela!!! My husband and I went in for a cleaning and to our surprise the entire staff changed along with the dentist. No one told us anything except to check us in and tell us that they had a team meeting so they couldnt take us back at the moment. Really right as patients are walking in you have to have a team meeting? This couldnt have been done when there was no patients or after hours?? We waited a good 30 minutes (my husband longer) and when we finally went back the dentist had the attitude of a frat boy and disregard what I was telling him about my dental history (braces and jaw surgery). He however was quick to assume that I didnt take care of my hygiene because I had a cavity, guess what ass I had braces for 3 1/2yrs had you looked at my dental history. Shame on me because I went back to get my cavity filled and again waited over 30 minutes to get it done. No one told me what was going on, they just left me and said, oh were busy. The other review about her daughters experience had every right to be upset because my experience was pretty similar. The dentist came in numb the area where the infected tooth was but then took off to assist another patient. WHAT?? By the time he came back my numbing meds was wearing off, lucky I have a high tolerance for pain. The dentist was rough and cut my upper lip and now I have sensitivity on my right side plus the right side of my face where I still have my facial implants from my jaw surgery is just aching! Avoid this place like the plague or any other dental offices that works through Dental Works. UGH! I will be requesting all my dental history and going somewhere else.

Both my husband and I went last fall, they billed both visits under my name, the insurance declined my husbands X-rays which should have been covered because it looked like I had 2 sets of X-rays taken within a week, it took me months going back and forth between the office and insurance company to figure out what happened during which the office made no attempts to figure out what went wrong except to say that my husband must have already had X-rays and that’s why they were turned down. That was impossible because they were the only dentist we had ever seen under our new plan with a new insurance company. After I finally figured it out and the office resent everything under the correct name, I am still getting bills for the X-rays which now I must pay out of pocket or face collections and damage to my credit. Also, my husband needed a cavity filled right after his initial visit before all this came to light. They forgot to floss between his teeth after the filling was put in, and the dentist was only with him one second before the assistant took over to actually fill the tooth and forget to floss. My husband had to go back which may not be a big deal usually but my husband works long hours with call so it’s hard to find time for any appointments in the first place. Will not be going back.

Exceptional visit for my six-month cleaning. My hygienist, Amy, is an absolute superstar and deserves a place in the Dental Hygienist Hall of Fame!

The staff was fantastic! There was an equipment issue that was handled by Alex and Emily was great too. It did seem as though the room was in need of a little housekeeping.

Perfect visit. Not one complaint.

UPDATE TO: Business Practices - 11-Apr-18 Last week I received an unexpected call from Vista Ridge Dental, although very welcomed. I have changed my initial rating from 1-star to 3-stars for reconsidering and zeroing out my familys bills for Fluoride treatments that were denied by our insurance company (Delta Dental) even though we first asked staff at Vista Ridge Dental if Fluoride would be covered and they said yes indeed it was. My wife wants to give them another chance so if the level of service is maintained AND we do not continue to see repeat issues with billing, this place would be an easy 4 - 5-star business.(Relating to Billing) To be fair the office is clean and staff is nice, no issues with those. My family has been going to Vista Ridge Dental Care in Erie Colorado since it opened, even after we moved out of Vista Ridge. We have seen a decline over the past couple of years in there ability to ensure services and/or dentists are actually covered by Delta Dental. I am always diligent to ask them if services outside of normal cleaning (x-rays, fluoride etc.) are covered by my plan. This is the third instance where they say yes it is and I okay the procedure. Then later we get a bill from them for those services they said were covered. Countless minutes and/or hours are spent on calls, follow-up calls and follow-up calls to the follow-up calls with Vista Ridge Dental to try and get it straightened out. The last round of calls related to dentists who were not approved in the Delta Dental Network and took approximately 3 months to get that straightened out.I call yet again today to inform them Im being charged for fluoride when I did in fact ask them to confirm it was covered first. Hygienist confirmed it, so I allowed it. Salina (from their office) simply said they may have inquired about it prior to rendering that service but the answer is not guaranteed until billing submitted to Delta Dental and they either pay or deny charges. What the heck...? There is a contract signed between Delta Dental and Vista Ridge Dental that specifies exactly what is, or is not covered. Its in black and white. It is, or is not covered. Vista Ridge Dental wants to hang their hat on it may, or may not be approved when asked if its a covered service well after the fact though. Why dont they say that at the time of service then...? Instead, they default to well if Delta Dental denies a claim then the patient is responsible for the balance due; even if the patient asked if that service was approved prior to services being rendered. Enough is enough and my family will spend monies elsewhere with another Dentist. Kind of a shady business practice indeed!

Been there twice, initial check up and then again for a cleaning, professional and courteous both times, glad we finally found a local office we like!

This place is great! They got me in quick and helped me with my chipped crown despite some annoying insurance issues. Very nice staff!

I love this place. I love my hygienist.

Very good attention to detail, polite, and certainly not trying to literally shove product down your throat. Would recommend to everyone.
