Ive never felt so comfortable and at ease while at a dentist. Everyone is so sweet and kind. From the time you call to make an appointment, you can tell they really care and want you to feel relaxed as possible. Dr. Starr is absolutely amazing, and I cant say enough about the girls in the office. I struggled finding a dentist, but now I wont ever go anywhere else!

I am VERY impressed with the entire office of Dr Albert Starr. From the Reception to the Assistants, Hygienists and Dr. Starr himself. Always professional and thorough!! My recent experience having a Crown replaced was quick and painless and the BEST part was that after the work was finished I was given a Credit for Estimated Treatment not needed once the original crown was removed. Honesty is PRICELESS!! I would have never known the difference. Thank You to the entire Staff for EXCEPTIONAL CARE!!! Also during this Pandemic they are taking every precaution to keep everyone safe. Upon arriving the patient stays in their car, calls to let them know they have arrived and when the cost is clear they call to let you know its safe to come into the office. They take the patients Temperature, Check Oxygen Levels and are constantly wiping everything down from Door Knobs, Counters and even Pens. Of course everyone is wearing a mask to. Even if there were no Pandemic they have always kept a Very Clean Office.

I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism of the staff, starting with my first phone call inquiring about an appointment. I was able to schedule quickly and got in right away. I have a number of dental issues and Dr. Starr explained what may be available, how we can approach my needs and what steps need to come first. The office team does a great job. They are super friendly and get to know you and you feel like you are part of a family. Dr. Star, Daniel, and Lucia are not only my Dentist Team they are my friends! They except my insurance and rarely do i have to pay more then my insurance provides and when I do it is well worth the advanced skills this team has. Albert does state of the art dentistry and stays on top of his game. Today I even got an estimate for the work to be done on my next visit. Ive never had a dentist do that before. Albert and his crew will make you feel at home and take very good care of your dental needs. Update after 10/6/21 visit -> Albert was a good dentist when he started, now hes a great one. I especially like how he catches small problems before they become big, destructive, and expensive ones. Hes honest as the day is long. That goes a long way with me every time I read about corrupt chain dentistrys out there. I initially had doubts about his ability to fill his dads shoes, but hes not only filled them but needs a pair that a size or two bigger!!

Ive always struggled with dentists because of a pretty severe gag reflex which made doing any work challenging. After putting off dental work for a while it was time to find a solution. I consulted Dr. Starr about my issue, he was very easy to talk to and seemed genuinely interested to help. A crown and a couple filling later I am still getting caught up on all the dental work but my experience so far has been great. Staff is super friendly and personable. Nitrous oxide sedation was the solution to my problem and Im relieved to say dentist visit is no longer a daunting affair.

Being newer to the area, I was in need of a dentist. A co-worker of mine had suggested I visit Dr. Starr. After my visit at Laser Dentistry of Erie, I couldnt thank my friend enough! The office had so patiently worked around my busy work schedule in order to get me in and taken care of at a time that was convenient for me. I had to visit the office several times that week, and each time, I felt so welcomed. Melissa was the first to clean my teeth, and she was so helpful and descriptive about everything she was doing. She used great analogies to help me understand what was going on in my mouth. She made the comment that the office staff holds themselves to high standards, and I couldnt agree more! They take pride in their work, and it shows. Everyone was so professional. Lucia then completed my second cleaning - where again, she was so wonderful. Laser Dentistry of Erie is a well run operation, from the office staff to the hygienists to the man himself, Dr. Albert Starr. Everyone is competent and personable. One gets the sense that everything necessary is being done to preserve dental health, but unnecessary or premature procedures are not recommended. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Starr (Al) and his staff are world class to say the least. Ive needed a complete restoration of both my upper and lower teeth for years and have been to several dentist to have the problem addressed. After seeing several dentist and having them only make the problem worse I literally lost ALL confidence in ALL dentist.YEARS went by with my problem only getting worse. My teeth we worn to 1/3 there normal size, a lot of the ones left were translucent from being worn so thin, and I was only able to chew food on the back of my front teeth because my bite was so far off.Thats when I knew I needed to try one last time to get them fixed. I didnt want dentures so I researched on the internet for dentist. I was looking for a dentist with high reviews, state of the art equipment, and knowledge of being able to do complete restoration.After reading through countless dentist reviews I came across Laser Denistry of Erie. From the reviews I read, I felt I needed to give them a call.At my first appointment I expressed my loss of confidence in dentist and all my concerns and bad experiences associated with them. They spoke to me of what my course of treatment would be all while reassuring me that they were different than other practices and I would gain their trust if I would give them a chance.Before I left the office that day, I could already feel that they were starting to gain my trust just by how involved they were in everything they did compared to other practices. They actually seemed to care. It was also the first practice where EVERYONE that worked there had all their Denistry done there. Others practices Ive been to would say how great the dentist was but whenever I would ask if he/she was their dentist, the answer was always NO. I knew then I was in the right hands. I was traveling 76miles ONE way but I felt it would be worth it.My comfort was ALWAYS top priority before restoration would even begin. If I wasnt comfortable, work would always stop or cease to begin . Also Dr. Starr and his staff would always sit with me and explain what was going to happen before they would proceed and they wouldnt start until all my concerns were addressed and I would agree to the procedure. I was beginning to feel more like a family member than a patient.Many, many trips to Erie later, my upper teeth are 100% restored and the compliments I get always make me smile(something I would try not to do before because I was so embarrassed by my teeth!!)As I write this, Im 2 trips from having the bottom completely restored and I couldnt be happier. One of the best parts is my teeth look natural.... not fake! I cant say enough about Laser Denistry of Erie. It has state of the art equipment, its staff are above professional and they truly make you feel at home by addressing your concerns! Id travel 150 miles one way to receive the quality service they provide.I not only got my teeth completely restored but also came out with a few new friends! I feel as Ive known them for years and because of that Im very comfortable with them working on my teeth as they have gained my trust through talks and their quality of work.I highly recommend them for any and all your dentist needs!!Hats off to you Al and all your staff. Although interactions with dentists continue to be some of my least favorite activities, I must admit that visits to Laser Dentistry have not been as traumatic and pain-filled as those provided by previous dental practicioners. They are very professional, always eager to examine what teeth I have left for the smallest crack or sign of trouble. They also have the latest equipment and have never shone the laser in my eye by mistake. Too, their billing procedures are lightning fast.But they must be doing something right for me to keep going to them. They are nice people, all. Really, their only miscue was asking a reluctant patient like myself to submit a review. To that end, I give four stars (which is as good as it gets from me) to the two Starrs, and can only hope they dont associate this review with me at my next appointment.
