Had a significant job ( recall) done to a f-150 xlt done and the service guys were very friendly and informative. I was expecting them to have offered a loner since my vehicle was in the shop for 2 days and I expect them to return my truck the same way I gave it to them clean; yes it was dirty. The seat was sat in dirty and floor mats and step into the truck. But other than that, great service and friendly folks.

Dropped my truck off to have it leveled, serviced, fix a nail in right front tire and fix a water leak in passenger floorboard. When I went to pick it up I asked if they serviced it. They forgot to so I had to wait another hour for them to do that. When I got home I looked and seen that the front right tire still had a nail in it. I called and asked if they rotated the tires they informed me that they did but couldnt explain why the front right tire was still in the same place with a nail in it. They did admit to not fixing the nail. They replaced a ac elbow for the water leak but when I called back to say that didnt fix the problem they informed me that they dont have the technology to troubleshoot or fix the water leak and told me to take it to Bondys.

Even though we decided not to get the vehicle we were looking at, I must give credit to the new-car salesman. It was after hours but he still let us take the vehicle for a test drive. Very kind gentleman. No pressure to buy either. Would definitely keep them in mind when buying a car

Went to have my Focus looked at bc of transmission problems. Everyone I talked to in the service department was very professional and knowledgeable. Turns out it was something else entirely that presented the same symptoms. After getting it fixed, I havent had any issues since. The ONLY reason I gave 4* is the wait time. I fully understand things get busy and Im truly not upset. But 3.5 days is a little long just for a diagnostic. Even with that, I will still be back for any needs in the future.

I went in to look at a truck and was greeted by Jody...the most genuine and honest car salesman I’ve dealt with. He shoots straight and tells you all the pros....and cons. NO BULL with Jody! His demeanor and honesty made up for the negative vibes I got from another staffer that had my mind made up to not buy from this dealership. Jody is the REAL DEAL! I’m very pleased with my truck purchase and, as long as Jody Dorrill is at Ed Sherling Ford, I’ll buy from them again!

Had to take my mustang in on a recall staff very friendly mechanic was informative understood what had to be done.was made to feel comfortable while I waited. Took my truck in to have the oil changed and TCM reflashed, I also requested to have the suspension bolts torque checked on the front of the truck as I had just had some work done to it and didnt have a big enough wrench to check torque for what was required. Was told it would be/was done, was charged the technician time to have it done, but had a fleeting suspicion that it wasnt actually done, so I took the truck to an actual shop with a lift to check myself and lo-and-behold the bolts were all still loose and not to spec. So I got charged for the labor that wasnt actually done, so that was cool.

My wife calls me and says something is dragging from underneath the vehicle and its not drivable. Thinking its something serious, I call the dealership to inform them that well be towing the vehicle there for service, however the service rep recommends sending a mechanic to my wifes location first. Cody the mechanic arrives within a few minutes. By that time I was already there and realized that the dragging and noise was from a large piece of road debris that got lodged in the under cover. Cody was very polite and professional and made sure we didnt need anything else before he left. Very impressed with Ed Sherling Ford service department....they have earned my busines. Thanks!

My wife and I have been to many different for dealers to attempt the exact same thing. We have a 2018 f350 and when I ordered the truck I bought most expensive tires for the long warranty on them. It has taken 14 trips and 4 dealers over 2 states before finally finding this one who got the job done correctly! (If only the tire wasnt bald now)We have had both our vehicles serviced here, and we will continue to come back. We have had minor concerns as we have had the recall on our f150 services with some other things, and the lock/unlock button panel does not work now, and when we left in the f350 one time we kept getting a warning for our advanced traction control disabled.. which turned us around after a hefty time spent there one day. Nothing we couldnt get back there for and they fix rather quickly.. we will return again. Your service department rep is a very very nice guy, we enjoy talking with him when we come in! He absolutely makes up the back end of any possible inconveniences by his great conversation. Thank you for great service!

Service department needs to call people when they say they are going to when you drop off your car. Dropped mine off, told me they would call by lunch. Called them right at closing and was told I could pick up the next day. They kept it 3 days and still didnt complete repairs. I have to bring it back again.

I was not happy with the lack of communication from service department. And several times whoever answered the phone was a bit rude. Nick is the only one I liked speaking with and gave me answers and polite. I was told they didn’t have a lift to work on my car. So it took 3 days to get a car fixed for a couple hour repair. Not impressed

This was our first time buying a Ford, and our first time using Ed Sherling Ford in Enterprise. We were very impressed with the service we received when buying our truck. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I will say that my favorite part of the experience so far was opening my mail box today (2 days after purchasing our truck- we left the dealership at 5:30 on Tuesday too) to find a HANDWRITTEN letter from the owner, Elizabeth Sherling, welcoming us to their family and thanking us for our business. This is something you just dont see anymore. We have purchased cars from 3 other dealers within the last 3 years and have yet to see this. Definitely impressed me!

I own a Ford Explorer. Several months ago, a sensor went out and I tried to get it fixed at Ed Sherling Ford. The service department was incredibly uncommunicative and never returned my phone calls to set up an actual appointment to fix the sensor. I gave up and went to Goodson Tire, who were fantastic and had my issue fixed in one day. Now I have a recall on my Explorer and cant get the Ford service department to give me the information I need or return my calls after being disconnected and calling back and leaving voicemails. I am hugely unimpressed with the service department and will be taking my Explorer to a Ford dealership in another city. I dislike leaving negative reviews but I am frustrated and taken aback by the lack of customer service here.

I went here after Firestone did some work on my 2005 Ford Escape and managed to make it worse than when I dropped it off. I also was driving a long distance for vacation soon and wanted to make sure it was ready to go. The service section has a very nice receptionist and the mechanics were more than helpful explaining and showing to me everything that Firestone had missed, that they shouldnt have. I will definitely be coming back here for my repairs.

I can’t even believe how good the customer service is here. I was instantly greeted and helped out with what I needed. They helped clarify what I needed and got me a appointment to fix my car. When it was raining a employee went out of his way to come outside and help me hold my umbrella to unload my child. I dreaded going to get my car fixed and they made the experience stress free and actually enjoyable. Thank you Ford!

Really good dependable Servicing here, had no trouble getting my cracked radiator fixed in a few hours after them ordering a replacement from Dothan, and new break lines ordered in for me. Waiting room is also surprisingly comfy.

Around May 2018 I had a couple of issues with my 2015 F150. Vehicle was still under warranty. They gave me a ride back home but they do not offer a loaner vehicle unfortunately. My biggest problem was when they did some work on my 4wd system. When they were done they did not properly torque the brake calipers on the front left wheel. Traveling at 60mph with my two children one of the bolts came out. Since this was on a Sunday the dealer was not open. I was able to limp my truck to a parts store that had the proper hardware. Found that the other bolt was close to coming out as well. Will not return to this ford dealer.Update: went to rotate my tires today (first time I’ve had the front tires off since Ed Sherling maintenance department had them off). When they put the tires back on they over torqued the lug nuts and after multiple attempts with breaker bars (and messing up an adapter) I finally got my solid steel breaker bar out with a 3 foot pipe slid over it. I did get all 12 nuts removed, but my breaker bar was bent up by the end of the ordeal (I honestly thought the breaker bar was going break before I got all the nuts off). Thank god I didn’t have to remove a front tire while on the side of the road! The back tires (the ones I put on myself and Ford didn’t touch came off without any issues). Pictures of my breaker bar included...the breaker bar was like new before hand.

Dont know about the dealership but the service department has been horrible. I have taken my F-150 there for a couple of years and have so far received sub standard and overpriced service. Case in point, got new wheels (larger size) and took their service department for re-programming. Got charged over $80 and the speedometer and odometer readings were still way off. After taking it back they admitted to me that the truck couldnt be programmed to the new wheel size (which was a Ford product). They also admitted that they should have Given me that information ahead of time, but still refused to reimburse me for having performed the wrong service. They were poorly trained at best and DISHONEST at worst. Maybe both. Needless to say I will never seek their service again and recomend that you do the same. Stick with your local unaffiliated mechanic.

In June I took my vehicle in for service after it had sat waiting for my return to the area. Had some leaks fixed and the some batteries changed. Since then Ive been able to get the vehicle to crank twice, thats right TWICE. Yknow what, it happens. Maybe theres demons in there. Heres my real issue. The service dept closes at 5 and had my only set of keys, which I was sure to tell them to stress the importance of not locking the keys in the car. So after I pull my wife out of work to give me a ride up there before 5, it turns out that they decided to lock the keys in the car anyways. After I informed the service dept of this, the last words I got from them after they recommended a tow place was good luck. So an hour or so later when someone from the dealership was leaving my wife flagged them asking for assistance. He happened to know where his service guys kit was that we used to open the car. He also said to have the tow company send the bill to them. While that was awesome, and I really appreciate it, this was not how I wanted to spend the last day of my time with the family before a deployment. What was a 15 minute round trip turned into 2+ hours of trying to get this done (the tow guy had absolutely no success with my older model vehicle - not fords fault in this scenario). I didnt appreciate the three reps there that watched as this all went down, and never offered any assistance or jack else. Ill never give them my business again.

Went to Bondys in Dothan once. My blinkers were going fast. They told me to bring it in and in an hour or so for $80.00. and they would give me a diagnosis.They kept the truck from 10 am until 5 pm, charged me the $80.00 and told me Id have to bring it back because I had electrical problems and that would cost $400.00 to DIAGNOSE!.They said the $80.00 WAS for a diagnosis of an OBVIOUS electrical problem!What bologna!Shady, shady, shady!I took it to my mechanic at Evans and in 10 minutes, he found a loose resistor in my LED tail light and fixed it with an inch of electrical tape! Needless to say, I wasnt going back to Bondys with my new issue with my odometer suddenly not reading right.Called Ed Sherling Ford, brought it in at 9:30 am, they updated my instrument cluster and fixed my problem, as promised, in 30 minutes, for $40.00!Was it worth the 50 minutes drive to Enerprise?I will do it EVERY TIME I need Dealership services! Fair and honest, unlike Bondys in Dothan.

I took my 2011 F350 in to Ed Sherling for a track bar ball joint replacement. I made the appointment 4 days in advance and was told it was a 1.5 hour job over the phone and reconfirmed when I dropped the truck off. Five hours later it was still sitting with no maintenance performed what so ever. The service manager apologized profusely and promised to work with me on the cost since they messed up. I didnt get my vehicle back until the following day. When I mentioned working on the cost of the job, the service manager acted like it was a problem. No apology for keeping my truck and making me miss 2 hours of work that cost me $150 and he actively avoided me while I was in the dealership. I used Ed Sherling for my truck and my wifes BMW 750Li but I will now take my business exclusively to Jim Whaley.
