Jeff is great. He has always taken care of us when we have had a problem. He always recognizes you when you run into on the street. He is very impressive.

My husband called the office and canceled our policy on 02/28/2019 as we switched to a different company to save a substantial amount of money and obtain better coverage. During the phone call he was told that it would be taken care of but that Jeff would most likely be calling him to discuss the situation. It is now 07/10/2019 and we were just notified that State Farm won’t cancel it back to when it was requested because “We don’t have a record of the agent’s office having a conversation about cancelling it in the past.” This basically translates to them refusing to refund all the money they’ve taken from our escrow account AND we’ve paid for two home insurance policies since February but luckily they “apologize for the inconvenience.”

I have had nothing but a terrible experience with State Farm and this agency as a whole. If it is this hard to recieve a $20 refund I would hate for anyone to be in an actual bind and have to claim something. Judging from the other reviews it seems this is an issue for this agency. I called and got a renters policy on December 22nd paid and was squared away. On the morning of December 23rd I recieved a phone call from Jeff says welcome to the State Farm family we are so happy to have you etc. Around 3 oclock that afternoon they called to tell me they could no longer cover me and that I would recieve a refund in about 2 weeks. Well 3 weeks passed no refund so I called customer service because now Ive not only not recieved my refund but now I have recieved a bill for January, the customer service agent informs me that my policy was never cancelled and she is not really sure why? She will need to reach out to the local branch and determine what is going on. So, no they all decide that it should have been cancelled but still hasnt been?? So now Ive recieved no refund but a letter stating I will have coverage until February 8th why would I still have coverage if my policy was cancelled in December? I am still to this day waiting on a $20 refund and just this morning recieved yet another letter in the mail from State Farm.
