Ferneys is a great small shop that does all kinds of vehicles but also has a specialty with Mini Coopers. (I saw VW, Jeep, and others while my Mini was being worked on). Ferney and the other staff all are very knowledgeable and very friendly to talk to with lots of mini knowledge! They did a thorough review of other current issues on the car that other shops had missed.Ferneys diagnosed and replaced a failing crank pulley that fixed my AC, and a bunch of codes, They also diagnosed and repaired an incorrect rear strut installation and new Blizzak snow tires. All repairs were done without an issue, great customer service, no surprises, and they made sure to follow up. They will show you the old parts if you want (got to see my crank pulley in two pieces :) )and they itemize the parts and labor bill! A bonus is its right across the street from Atlas Coffee if you need to wait for your car!

I have been going to Ferneys for over 10 years now. He is the only one I will trust with my 2007 Turbo Mini Cooper. He always explains in detail the work that will be performed and usually gives me several options for the repair.

Great shop, they serviced our 2006 Mini after our purchase years ago, top notch work and took a real interest in the car and our satisfaction with his work. When my VW Touareg needed bakes this is where I went, they found a leaking water pump too, yes I was adding fluid on a regular basis so I knew it needed to be done. This is the best local shop I have found. Quality work, fair price and best of all really nice people.

I took my 2012 Mini Cooper S to Ferneys to have an oil and coolant leak diagnosed. Ferney found that the crank seal and oil filter housing gaskets were both leaking. While repairing the oil filter housing gaskets, he also replaced the turbo oil lines with the detroit tuned braided lines (a nice upgrade/preventative as it is very common for the turbo oil lines to leak on the R56 mini). I dropped the car off with Ferney on a Wednesday and was told I wouldnt have the car back until the following Friday - however Ferney and his team knocked out the repair and got the car back to me 2 days before it was promised. After 2 weeks of having the car back and 300 miles of driving, there are no leaks to be found. Having done much research myself, I know the oil filter housing gasket is a big job, and I feel confident knowing it was done right after taking it to Ferneys. Ferney is as honest as can be and extremely knowledgeable - especially when it comes to Minis. I would not hesitate to recommend Ferney to anyone in need of auto repairs, and will absolutely be taking my Mini back to him for all future repairs and maintenance. If Google allowed me to give him more than 5 stars I would!

Took my mini there as Ferney was recommended by the whole mini community. He did not disappoint. I have a heavily modified mini Cooper that just stopped running so basically I had to drop it off to him and tell him to start from scratch. He was able to figure out the problem quickly and get the car running again as well as show me a few other things that I need on the car. Top notch shop for sure.

Ferney is not only a trained Mini service tech he and his mechanics can fix all cars and trucks. On my mini he saved me 50% verses the dealer estimate. On my Dakota truck they took care of all its problems. Now all I need on both is regular maintenance thanks to them.

I give them 5 stars for helping me after I got hit in my yukon pulling a trailer by a out of control driver who hit my yukon then hit my trailer and pushed trailer fender up tight on trailer tire. I was trying to get home when it started smoking. The man there was watching the shop for owner. He got this tall strong Mechanic to come out with huge pry bar. It took all he had but he got it bent back in place. They refused to take any money for helping me. I literally had to make him take 20 dollars. They saved my day my tire and a huge expense. Treated my like royalty. I promised Id be back when I needed auto work. Just called to schedule. I also very impressed with reviews. 100 % 5 stars throughout. Thats worth 5 stars all by itself. I am totally confident to be bringing both my 4x4s into get work done.

I had my Toyota Camry engine rebuilt fall of 2014. Ferney got me a engine with 30 thousand miles on it & installed for less than 5 k which is unheard of for rebuilt engines. I couldnt recommend Ferneys more. Great people doing great work. I recently took my 05 Trailblazer in and had to have some work done on one of my cylinders. It was a repair that I thought would take a week. Instead, It took only a couple of days an ended up costing me almost half of what I was expecting. Ive been going here since it was Rockys and I still go here because the staff and service.

As a shade tree mechanic, I only ask for help when desperate. I had a whole variety of minor problems with my 2005 mini s caused primarily from only driving it once a month and not really wanting to work on a very cramped and very complex little car. I took it in to confirm a failing supercharger before I committed to buying the $2000 part and spending 8 hours installing it... If all went according to plan.In 30 minutes, he told me all the things that needed attention and confirmed that the supercharger bearings were failing. I took his advice and changed out the brake pads, leaky thermostat, and valve cover gasket myself as a baby step. These tasks took me about 6 hours longer than I expected, confirming that car is no fun to work on.When I put it all back together, it idled badly and the brakes were weak. I figured there was a vacuum leak somewhere but could not find it.Can you say desperate?Ferney diagnosed the poor idle in 2 minutes with nothing more than a flashlight: this finally convinced me he was an amazing mechanic and deserved my business. He swapped out the sc for a very fair price and now I have a perfectly running (and stopping) little car. If you have a mini, please give him your business so he will be there the next time mine needs a master mechanic.

I rarely take time to review anbody, however, Ferneys is worth my time. I just found them amd Ive taken my camaro as well as my gfs Subaru. Both times I was treated as someone who wasnt just a customer but more like a friend, or a family member. They are the Jimmy Johns of Oil Changes. Freaky fast. He stayed open late enough for my gf to drop the car off from work. Friendly and imformative about whats going on with your vehicle. I never feel like I actually trust any car company. Hidden charges and broken pieces always seem to come up. Not here. If you need it they tell you, if you dont they tell you. I strongly recommend you give the crew at Ferneys a shot. Honest...Good mechanic....the lead tech shane cant even fix the heat in his own truck...Attn man with Yukon who just paid over 2k for a new rear end....your rear end was fine shane sold you a rear end when all you needed were lower controll arm bushing ferney covered it up and charged you for a repair that was unnecessary and expensive my favorite part was how he referred to you as a good customer who buys whatever you tell him then gave you a story about how he probably saved your life...if this is a good customer in my opinion its not a good idea to be a good customer of ferneys lube and auto....

Ferney takes the time to show you details under the hood...the good, bad and the not perfect but don;t need to change.....also at least 30% cheaper than mini dealer on items i look at...and avoided some unneeded work....highly recomendedfor mini owners!
