On Saturday we found a bee problem in our basement. No local companies were open so we called one of the big companies and got horrible customer service, but they said they could come on Monday between 1-5. Monday came and I tried calling and calling and couldn’t ever get a hold of anyone. No one showed up and finally when I called to cancel, they got me someone who said that my appointment was rescheduled but I was never notified. I then called Prevent Pest Control right before they were closing and asked if there was any way they could fit me in the next day. The lady I spoke to was very nice and helpful and said she would make sure they fit me in the next day. Dario came and was extremely nice, friendly, knowledgable and helpful!! I felt that I could actually trust him and he didn’t try to sell me on anything Would recommend this company to anyone!! They were also $100 cheaper than the other company.

When I called to order a roach treatment the woman asked if I would like to pay for two treatments now because it would save me money. I said yes and I gave her my credit card. I asked her to schedule the first visit for after 4:30 pm because thats when the resident arrives home from work. She said the appointment has to be at 3pm. I said ok the resident can get out early from work and be home at that time. On day of inspection I receive a call from the technician that he will be there after 4:30pm. I told him the appointment was for 3pm. He said Anytime after 3pm No one told me about that. This is really bad organization of the office staff and possibly the manager. One month later I asked my tenant if he had rescheduled for the second roach treatment. He said no, the inspector did not reschedule with him. The next day I get a call from a technician at 3pm saying he is on his way to retreat the house. I told him we didnt have an appointment and the resident was still at work. He said they made the appointment with me. (Not True) and that I owe $150. for it. I said I already paid for the second visit. He called the office and was told that they never charged my credit card for 2 visits, only for the first one. I asked him to not come to the house as no one is home. Maybe the office staff could COMFIRM APPOINTMENTS!!! This can easily be done with automatic emails or texts. Also, they need to schedule for what is best for the customer. Not for the customer to follow the inspectors schedule and lose wages when leaving work early. Now two months later it appears that the first treatment worked and no more bugs have been sighted.

Great service but their cost is a bit high for whats being done. It may be no different from other like vendors. The rep remembered being at our house before and was quite friendly.

Driving down route 2 and one their trucks was driving in the passing lane not passing anyone. The truck would not get over to let other cars pass and would speed up and then slow. When cars finally could pass him on the right, he would speed up. I understand that not everyone has common sense when I comes to the rules of the road but if you’re going to be driving a vehicle advertising a business then you have to be smarter than this.

Found a bees nest in the front of my house the other day. I called prevent pest because I was looking for somewhere local. Dan was great. I told him about the situation and he had someone out the very next day. The technician was in contact with me before and after the treatment as I was not home. When I came home there were no sign of the bees anywhere. Everyone I dealt with was very nice and professional. And the price was very reasonable with no surprises. I would definitely recommend them and will use them in the future for any other pest issues.

I have to give them 3 stars. They did get someone out here the same day that I called them, and worked around my schedule to make it happen for a carpenter ant problem in my new house. But, only two rooms were sprayed, and for the money, it seems like the whole house should have been sprayed. By only spraying two rooms, I started to see ants in other parts of the house that had previously had no issues, but they were dead, so I didn’t worry about it too much. But now it’s been a little over a month, and I’m still finding live carpenter ants on a regular basis, and now I’m also seeing the winged ones as well. So now I’ve got to have someone come back out to solve the problem I thought was solved a month ago when I paid $170 for two rooms to be sprayed.

I have used PPC three times over the past several years and have always had excellent service. Last week, I contacted Dan at PPC at 6 pm on a Tuesday night expecting a reply the next morning. He replied immediately, asked about the issue and said I would be contacted in the morning. Carrie called me first thing the next morning to set up an appointment for that afternoon. She was so nice, polite and patient. We set up the appt for a tech to come out between 12 and 4. I received a call at 2:30 from Dario saying he was on his way. Twenty minutes later, Dario was at our house. He was so polite, respectful and thorough. Dario resolved the issue and we are back to being pest free!! Thank you PPC!!

Back in November we had some tiny little bugs crawling around our kitchen. I messaged Dan a picture and he knew they were grain weavels and warned us that they can chew through plastic. Sure enough, they were coming from a bag of bird seed we had stored in our laundry room. He sent a guy over the next day and we never saw another (living) weavel again! I am about to call Prevent Pest Control to take care of some spiders infesting our back deck and creeping inside!
