I just love the owners of Dempseys. Every time I need a part or my washer machine or dryer fixed I call the lady up there and she always help me and give me the best available advice. I wish there was more businesses that takes care of you like they do. They are honest and just great people. Go there and check them out!!!!

Little sweet old lady runs the tiny store by herself. She had to order our part, never heard back. So I called and she never ordered it and never called me back. Its a shame because she was nice.

Nice young couple in their 80s, a wealth of knowledge. They would rather help someone than make a buck. They have all the manuals ON MICROFICHE! This place is amazing

I called just now to get my dryer looked at. The lady on the phone says “well why don’t you fix it yourself? I don’t have people to do service calls. And besides you’re gonna pay $100 for a service call.” She refused to let me speak. I hung up on her. You don’t wanna listen or want business during this crazy time? Fine! I’ll give my money to someone else. STAY AWAY FROM THIS “BUSINESS”. Poor attitude, rude, and condescending!

Is always a pleasant visit at Dempseys appliance, because the owner are very nice people.

Very good service and knowledgeable personal. Needed coil heater for my side by side and they had one in stock! So nice that there are still family owned mom and pop shops like this around. I recommend them if you need parts and service with a touch of old school cool!

Ma and Pa store. They carry used appliances and parts to repair appliances. So far have had every part Ive needed on hand. Theyre knowledgeable friendly and patient enough to answer any questions. You feel more like youre dealing with a friend or family rather than a business. Great brick and mortar niche store that you dont see much any more. They do business the old fashion way a way I wish would come back. These are people that have been doing this business their whole lives so they can give you service that only comes from years of experience.

These people have been beyond helpful with my washer and dryer unit. They are professionals in everything they do and understand the business completely. This is a parts warehouse, not a repair facility. They do from time to time repair units for resale, but this is where all of the repair guys go for parts. Extremely friendly and helpful. Bought a couple parts for our dryer and Mrs. Dempsey walked us through what to do. Unfortunately, a few weeks later the dryer went out again. We called the store and they told us to save our money and replace the dryer because it will just keep happening. I appreciated the honestly since they could have easily tried to sell us some other parts that wouldnt fix the problem.

I have been going to Dempseys for the last 15 years, both Mr. and Mrs. Dempsey (mostly Mrs.) are very helpful and knowledgeable on most every appliance, old and new. They are old school and do not pressure a sale, trying to give you the proper information to repair your item yourself. I would recommend for the do it yourself person to call and talk with them. As for the not so handy, they offer repair services both at the store and in home.The Doughnut Man

If you have a vintage appliance and need help, Mr. Dempsey is the man to go to. Nothing, but nothing beats his years of experience and practice. Replaced a drier igniter, it was much less than Sears would have charged. Needed knob replacement for and old stove, took in an old knob and he had what was needed. One poor review because of some elses behavior (a dish washer repair man) seems to be mean spirited.
