Used their services for vehicle rental while my car was in body shop at O’Hare Auto body. Friendly staff and was streamlined and easy to work with. Was able to drop off my rental car at OHare Auto body and pick up my own car without issue.

First we asked to reserve a compact car. When we arrive to pick it up. They had an economy one, which is to small, so I asked for a compact one they say yes sure . They gave me a hunday Elantra . Which was supposed to cost about $77.00 per day . I asked them to give me a recipt they say o we e Mail it . I declined to buy extra insurance . When I checked my email I realized they where charging me for a midsize car and charging me for extra coverage insurance 25 dollar s not per day plus the 102 for the supposed mid size car, I disputed to no avail I use to rent from them every year for a week at least . But now . Im disappointed . Dont go there if you do you will be tricked /cheated

We needed an urgent rental as our SUV had some major issues that needed work done by our dealership. Under our warranty, we were provided a reservation with Enterprise that would cover a rental while our SUV was being worked on. When I called to confirm with Enterprise that our dealership lined up the rental, they advised we only rent a car under the same make as our current SUV, and that they had none in inventory. This was not an Enterprise rule, but a part of our warranty. Enterprise found this pretty ridiculous too, as they rarely have a comparable make to the SUV we use to move our family of 5 around. Bottom line is that our family needed a three row SUV while our car was being worked on. Enterprise stepped up and called our dealership for us and let us know of the pickle we were in. With all of our help, we managed to convince the dealership to cover a make outside of what we have so that we could get a sizeable SUV during repairs. Enterprise even went out of there way to hold on to a Ford Explorer during a very busy week for them leading into the 4th holiday. They certainly didnt have to do that for us, but I sensed they felt bad about the situation we were dealing with. All the guys that I spoke to and worked with at the Elmhurst, IL location were attentive, understanding, and super nice. Hands down would use that location again. Thanks Elmhurst Enterprise!

I am a regular customer at this Enterprise and never had a single issue. I was taken care of well and the representatives have always been helpful. Unfortunately this last time I rented a car there was all new people and they were very rude. My car total was 77.72 plus the 200 for deposit. The representative was trying to over charge me 300.00 and was making it very difficult for me to rent on Valentine’s Day of all days. That experience makes me not want to go back if these are the new people they have running the enterprise. The gentlemen was in welcoming and rude.

Rented a car, had a small dent on the passenger door, was told to “not worry about it”. Came back, went to drop it off, they were under staffed so they didn’t do an inspection. Now I have an $850 bill being sent to me to repair a car we didn’t damage, because it was not previously noted.Highly recommend not renting from this location.

I rented a truck went back a hour later for something with 4 wheel drive they told me the truck they had needed service and theyd call and let me know soon as one came in. 3 days later I called asked if they had a 4wheel drive truck they said yes but its already reserved and I couldnt have it so I was lied to. Im a enterprise plus member and rented a truck everyday for 3yrs but apparently at this location that means nothing. So instead of extending my rental for a week I gotta return and go somewhere else

Excellent place to rent a vehicle. The vehicles are clean and up to date. The customer service is excellent! I was on the phone with them and did they did not have the vehicle I needed at their place. The customer service representative went to another site and picked up the vehicle I needed. I was bring the vehicle back and got stuck on the expressway with accident traffic and they waited for me to get there to turn in the vehicle. Excellent customer service 👏 👌

The Enterprise in Elmhurst on York has always been a pleasure to work with. This time around our rented minivan (with 7 of us in it) started doing something weird with the transmission early on in the trip. They were able to get us to OHare and quickly into a new minivan with no issues -- the van was already warming up when we pulled in.When we returned the van to Elmhurst and told them about the situation they gave us a discount on the rental. Highly recommend -- they take care of their customers!

Writing this review for the truck rental located in the back. I had a issue when there and they went out of their way to fix it and make sure everything was good for me. I deducted one star because I did not get the exact rental I wanted but they made it work and the people in the office were nice guys (not the fake nice people give because they have to). Id choose this location again over the other enterprise ones ive rented from.

This was my second time using this location. The first time was great, this recent trip, not so much.They saw me within seconds upon arriving. But there was no car walk through, she just handed me the keys and said “take care”. The vehicle reeked of weed and there was dog hair in the back. So I was concerned that I would be charged. Pretty sure we won’t use this location again. Will probably definitely check reviews for other locations.

Never going back after using Enterprise exclusively for years. I got an automated email the day before my rental confirming my reservation and the pick-up location in Villa Park, IL. When I arrived from the airport, they told me my reservation had been transferred to another location in Elmhurst, IL. The staff person in Villa Park showed absolutely no concern about the error and told me there was nothing she could do to help me get to Elmhurst. When I persisted, she called Elmhurst to see if someone could come get me but told me they said they couldnt. I had to get a taxi at my own expense to get to the Elmhurst office. When I arrived there, I explained the situation to them and they said they could have picked me up. They also didnt have a car ready for me so I had to wait. They gave me 1/2 tank of gas but no one offered a sincere apology - ever.

Easy in easy out. Thats what she said I know... But this place is easy to get to and from. Got there early and had no problems with getting the car. The agents were courteous and pleasant and gave me no hassle at all. The place looked clean and orderly and was air conditioned on a 100 degree day. Once in the car it was brand new and only had a few miles on it. Was everything and a bag of chips. Pricing was better through a website but you get what you pay for.

The address is wrong on Google map. I was driving up and down York rd. Finally found it 6 blocks away. Update your address.

Fast friendly service, when we needed a last minute rental quick.

Always a good experience. There app is easy to use as well especially when your tied up with work and cant really call them or for after hours. Ive used this as my new location in this area many times already. Almost always there vehicles are usually clean. They also have attached in the back a separate location for truck rentals if you need to tow etc that has come in handy. Usually in and out very quickly only annoying thing is when they try to get you on the insurance policies and you try to tell them youre good and then try to go into detail. Im not sure if they get commission but if I tell you Im good and my insurance will cover it I dont need to hear it another 10 times. I will take the fault if something happens.

Had a reservation for 3pm after a 14hr flight. An hour later and there’s still no keys in my hand. I asked what was the hold up and she said due to COVID there’s a more extensive cleaning process. My question is, why wasn’t this cleaning process completed before my 3pm pickup.

I think Nicole is a wonderful Manager but what I don’t like is how some rules apply to some and not other but what I do know is that if you not of Caucasian or friends with some one that work there you don’t get the perks but I will be calling upper management tomorrow morning

The only reason for one star is a billing error that I cannot get anyone at Enterprise to acknowledge or correct.I returned the vehicle per the agreement, during business hours. Personally handed the keys to Jim, he did not check in the vehicle, just a handshake and I was gone. Two days later, I received the final agreement/bill by email. There was an extra day charged. I immediately called the location, talked to Jim who said he would correct it.It has now been 16 days, 2 emails and 2 phone calls to customer service.I have not been contacted by the district manager nor anyone else regarding this.I guess my next step is to dispute the charges with my credit card company. Maybe that will get someones attention.Update: I have upgraded my rating to four stars. I contacted this location again (still havent heard anything from the district manager). I spoke with Nicole,explained the issue and within minutes had this discrepancy resolved.THANK YOU NICOLE!!!!

The young man that checked me in was extremely nice and helpful and got me in and out. When I returned the car a young lady helped me, as she was checking the gas in the car she turns and asked me if I smoked in the car. I told her of course not because I’m not a smoker. She then chuckled as if I was lying and said it looks like it but that’s ok. I told her that’s grass on floor because I just came from down south. I was extremely offended by her rude and unprofessional assumption.

Experience was ok. Attendant was very personable. Wait was a little long and the biggest thing is they forgot my i-pass.

My only concern was that the car’s windshield wipers were not the best and just so happened that it was a rainy day and utilized my rental on the highway.

My car got hit by a drunk driver while parked and they caught the guy so his insurance sent me to enterprise. Some issues happened on the first day and I didnt get my car until the second day. During the process the employee suggested a few things that werent covered by the insurance but didnt inform me until my friend asked about it. I declined when I realize I have to pay out of pocket for them. She had an attitude toward my friend afterwards. My repair turned out to be much longer than expected and they contacted me but I did not authorize a payment on my credit card because the insurance and bodyshop still need to get the extra damages and extensions updated. One of them will have to pay for it eventually as I do not expect to pay for any of the fees. A day later, without any authorization from me, they charged my card more than $300. On their website it said clearly that in case the expect time for repair is extended they will work with the adjuster and/or bodyshop throughout the repair. I havent got any information on whether they have contacted them first before decided to charge my card.My car was hit by a drunk driver and now Im the one punished for it.

Car was not as clean as I have experienced with other Rental Car Companies--AVIS for example. Sign posted on the front door that face covering is mandatory. On Friday 8/14 when the car was picked up one of the employees had his face mask pulled down so that it didnt cover his nose. I pointed that out to another employee and she said she would mention it to him. On Sunday 8/16 the same employee exhibited the same poor compliance (under his nose) of the mask. VERY DISAPPOINTING! Their customer service is a joke. We spent thousands of dollars there and they treated us horribly. Also look at your bill, and ask for an itemized bill because they’ll tack on random charges and if you don’t catch them they will keep your money.

Pickup and drop off service was great. Check-in staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Even though I booked at a special rate but they attempted to charge regular price until I told them about the special which was through the Enterprise website. Not really sure why the correct rate was apparent instantly. My issue was with the car. It was not cleaned. The exterior was wet and much cleaner than the interior. Once the car dried there were water spots all over and the interior windshield was filthy. There was water in the cup holder about 1/4 of inch (I usually drop my cell phone there and was glad I didnt). The previous driver had actually left there garage door opener and I was called to return it which I did. The person checking in the car didnt even ask if there issues with the rental. Ive rented from Enterprise previously and never had issues or they were corrected quickly. Ill chalk this up to a 1 time not great experience and look for improvement for next rental.

This location keeps making unauthorized charges on my credit card I used for incidentals. Be aware of small extra charges that keep adding up weeks after the rental return! I had to call my bank to block them and dispute charges. To top it off they picked me up from the body shop in a filthy white cargo van with chickens painted all over it, how professional is that. Wasnt sure if I needed proof of insurance, a drivers licenses, and a valid credit card or mace and stun gun!

Ive rented vehicles from Enterprise in Elmhurst on York Rd many times over the years and generally found the experience good. My last experience, however, was exceptional. They have dramatically improved communications throughout the process, from confirming the online rental a couple of days before-hand to answering the phone promptly every time I called in. The car was in clean and operated flawlessly and they easily accommodated my request for a drop-off at a local repair shop. But most of all they seemed to care about my business and my rental experience.

Professional staff. I wish there was some type of scan and go app that would help speed up the process.

I needed to rent a 4 wheel drive to go visit my son for the weekend in northern Michigan. We decided to go with Enterprise because they had the best rate for the type of car we were looking to rent. When I got to Enterprise I was greeted by an amazing young man named Joe Buczko (hes the asst branch rental manager) who was super friendly, helpful and genuine. He really understands the meaning of the words customer service. Its been a very long time since Ive had a customer service experience like this one so I had to make sure I wrote this review and acknowledged Mr. Buczko. The car itself was a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder and was perfect for what I needed. The interior was a little dirtier than I liked, but it is a rental after all. Enterprise really ought to have Mr. Buczko training their staff everywhere, he really hit it out of the park!!! Highly recommend this location!!!

This particular establishment has very friendly and helpful staff.On this particular trip I used the pick you up service. This experience went well.Upon arrival, they were ready to assist me with my rental. The check-in process went quickly and professionally.I have used this Enterprise in the past and will continue to do so. I also like that they have Sunday hours.

I quite easily, late at night, scheduled a rental online for the next morning and the car was waiting for me on time. The manager and customer service person were both very professional and courteous, as was the driver of the shuttle vehicle. I will not hesitate to do business here again.

I used the York Rd facility in Elmhurst twice in one week; once for business and once for personal. The entire experience was fantastic. The staff took care of me, very friendly and efficient. A true 5 Star Experience. I have rented 5 times now from this location and every time I do I am reminded that this is the only location I want to rent from. Everyone is very friendly and really do go above and beyond to make the experience. A number of times I saw a car in the back that I wanted and they made it work instead of the car I was there to get. I have rented a full size Cadillac from these guys and brand new Denali. I dont know anyone personally but every time I walk it I literally feel like Im someone important by the way they treat me and that just makes the experience and absolute pleasure which unfortunately is getting harder and harder to find these days. Customer service is dying in most places, but the guys here are keeping it alive and well. Thanks again guys, I will be back.

I have rented from this location 5-6 times now, and each time has been great. Good customer service, in and out quickly on the pick up and return, and the employees were always polite. Even when I showed up 5 minutes after they opened the door at 7:00, the two employees were happy and ready to help us. The rates are very competitive, and the drop off service is convenient!

By far the easiest car rental experience ever. Fast, friendly, and painless. I travel a lot for business and every other car rental company makes things so complicated and have the longest lines ever. Never at an Enterprise - quick to get out and to start your day.

It was very good. The Car was clean and it was great for the short time I had it. The only thing that would have been better. I was told the pickup would be at 11 am and I had locked the house and was waiting outside in the cold until 11:15. The Driver of the pickup car was very nice.

Everyone I spoke with on the phone, to the gentleman that picked me up to bring me back to Enterprise, to the guys behind the counter, were all very personable; polite and professional without being too stiff, as they picked up on my quirky sense of humor but didnt treat me like a weirdo. They had several cars to choose from, including exactly what I was looking for - a compact car. Thats what Im used to driving and didnt need anything bigger. Prices are reasonable and competitive, but if you value customer service, which I *TOTALLY* do because it seems to be a lost art, Enterprise in Elmhurst on York Rd is the best Ive found.

I made a reservation one week before I went to pick up my vehicle but didnt get the vehicle I reserved I had to settle for another vehicle so I was disappointed but I needed a vehicle they should have told me that the wasnt available

Enterprise is so convenient to Ohare and so much cheaper than renting at the airport. The cars are nice, clean and smell great. The guys at the counter are so nice and helpful. Check in/out fast too!

The team at this Enterprise location is very conscientious, and dedicated to providing timely customer service, getting the required documentation they need, to get the client on the road. The usually busy location is also straight-forward about availability, managing client expectations realistically, which is genuinely appreciated. I have had to go to the competition at times, but the manager and staff do express appreciation for the business we do together. They have accommodated me with turning in the car, at the very last minute (6:00 p.m.) on a weekday, as the door was being locked and lights were already out. Kudos to the team at this Enterprise on York Road in Elmhurst.

Very very bad experience. We waited several hours for service. Manger name Kyle he gave us an attitude. We were not assisted right. We had all kind of insurance from enterprise we paid for it, but we were treated as if they are doing us a favor. We also had roadside assistance, but the service was so slow and took forever. We were on vacation and it was ruined due to enterprise. When I asked about the which year the car was Kyle said I dont know why would you need that. Thats not the answer you give to your costumer. Never ever getting any service from enterprise ever again.

I had a great experience! I rented originally thru Avis, but when I showed up, they had no cars and people had been waiting there for 4 hours. That wasnt going to work for me! I walked next door to Enterprise and was greeted by James Kurpiel. So professional and courteous. He hooked me up with a car, used my corporate discount, and I was on my way in about 15 minutes. Super impressed with this location, and with James!

Jim (Kurpiel) is a nice manager, he got a good deal for me. He also provided me suggestions on how to deal with Tolls in order to avoid fines. I will come back in the future. This Enterprise store is the largest one I have ever been to. They have a super large garage to wash cars. The other officers are also kind, I came from airport with two big large luggages (50 lb), and one small luggage, they helped me to move my suitcases into the room and also helped me to load them in the rental car (I forgot to ask their names). When I was looking for Enterprise store in airport, I noticed that this store opens 7 days a week - as a non-airport location; and they open at 7 am at weekdays, which is at least 30 min earlier than many other stores.

Could definitely have got a better price but manager was not to nice to deal with 👎

I dont know who the previous reviewer spoke to, however my experiences were completely opposite. I dealt with Syed and he was courteous and very professional he explained what I was signing and why. I have returned to this location twice now and have experienced great customer service each time.
