It was my first time coming here for an event. There was plenty of parking without having to walk too far. The place was clean and classy, bathrooms and exits easy to access and locate. The sound for the first speaker started off a little rocky but they got it fixed quickly and it was great after that.

Tom at the Diplomat West was outstanding! I had my wedding reception there this last weekend and it went so smooth. He was super accommodating and so nice! My wedding was supposed to be last year and then the pandemic hit and everything closed and I was crushed. Luckily Tom was there to keep me clam and even reschedule 2 times with no problem! The food was amazing the service was amazing, it was reasonably priced, everything was clean and decorated so nice. The staff were so friendly and got everything out on time! My wedding turned out prefect and I’m super thankful for everyone’s help there! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a banquet that is friendly, welcoming, with good food, and clean nice rooms! Thanks for everything Tom!

We went to a banquet there. Although it was nice, a wedding dance was going on and we could clearly hear the music. It was not loud enough so that we could not hear what was being said in our room, but we could clearly hear what was playing. Restrooms were plentiful and clean. The sound system did not work well in the room we were in.

Food was very good. The wait staff were attentive to needs of club members. However, P A system made our speakers somewhat unintelligible. I would return to a function here. P J Law

PFS charity dinner is always a great time. The food is good ... the cause is amazing and the honorees make you proud of what this charity does for them. Very clean, convenient & friendly banquet hall & the service is great!

Went for an event. The food was excellent; not your typical banquet food. The rooms are nice looking. Good location but small parking lot which is shared with other stores at the shopping center.

If you have an event this is the best. The decor is beautiful and the owner Tom is so accommodating. Awesome dance floor huge stage and huge room for Bride and huge room for GroomThe location couldnt get any better and plenty of parking.

The dinner was great - I had strip steak and it was done to perfection and was hot when it arrived at our table.

Clean, quaint, spacious rooms small stage bar also there also on premise catering available basic meals! Wedding,meeting/awards .big parking lot there but get there early lot fills up fast! Not a average hall!

Diplomat West shares its parking lot with other stores but, in the evening most of the stores close. I love the decorations inside. I go there for dancing and listening to bands, and DJs, getting to know more people, making new friends! Staff is fantastic most of the time!

My daughters wedding was June 18, 2016 and I was so thrilled with everything. Tom was fantastic and guided us through the whole process The food was delicious (we opted for family style). I would highly recommend the Diplomat West to anyone looking for a place to hold their special events.

Great Banquet Hall. Attended many events here. The food is always good. The food which is supposed to be hot is hot and the ice cream they serve for dessert is really cold. Not like the ice cream soup served at many banquet halls. And there is lots of free parking. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Going downhill a bit. Used to love their soups and dinners for banquets. But now the lobby always reeks of fresh cigarette smoke, and last time their kids dinner seemed like reheated day-old McDonalds nuggets & fries. Great location and the staff is friendly enough, but little things kind of take away from it. Hope they bounce back.

The majority of this age group is 50 & up, reasonable prices great DJs & sometimes Bands if love to dance I highly recommend it! Im somewhat of a regular now & have met men & woman who became friends now its a great place to mix & mingle & dance! Food was okay nothing spectacular at the event I went to, but its a pretty venue with all the amenities

The owner is friendly and helpful. The place is older and needs a thorough cleaning but thats the trade-off for their reasonable pricing. Worth taking a look.

Food was sub par. Frozen meals and instant mashed potatoes. Took an hour to get through soup and salad and the salad was wilting like it had been sitting open in the cooler for a few days. The atmosphere is pretty nice and the decorations werent bad. Overall I would not recommend it for a wedding.

I was the DJ for a party here. Ample sized room. Friendly staff. Overall great place for an event.

Went for a fundraiser. Over 500 attended. Beautiful large room and greeting area. Food was beyond awful. Bathrooms werr overflowing and nasty. Mgmt wasnt present from what i could determine.

As a member of a wedding party using the Diplomat as the reception venue, I was very disappointed. A few hours after leaving the party at the diplomat I was greeted with a lovely episode of food poisoning that constituted a few hours in the bathroom. i was not drunk, especially by the end of the party, because the bartender Larry made me feel so uncomfortable about getting drinks from him when I ran out of tip cash in my pockets. I understand wait staff works for tips, but he was borderline hustler. The food was saturated in saline. it was not salted - it actually tasted as if everything had been soaked in salt water. Would not recommend this facility.

Never knew this place existed but looking forward to using this again for other events.

This is a good location for a large banquet and served its purpose well. It’s a very ‘standard’ banquet hall and they did a nice job setting the stage and fitting everyone in. However, food wasn’t very good and audio was very hard to hear.

CHARGED MY FRIEND $270 instead of $27 AND DID NOT KNOW HOW TO REFUND while holding up the line 20minutes. I ORDERED TWO SHOTS AND A CORONA WHERE THEY STATED THEY WERE ALL OUT OF CORONA SO I WAS GIVEN A MILLER LITE INSTEAD. NOT EVEN TWO MINUTES LATER TWO EMPLOYEES REACH IN THE COOLER AND SNEAK TWO CORONAS TO THE BACK AND LOOK ME IN THE FACE AFTER I ASKED FOR ONE. I ASKED IF THE OTHER BAR WAS OUT AS WELL AND THEY SAID YES HOWEVER THAT WAS NOT THE CASE WHEN I WENT OVER AND ASKED IF THEY WERE BUT THEY ONLY TOOK CASH.WORST BANQUET IVE BEEN TO

Was there for a special event for shriners hospital. Food was excellent and the entertainment was outstanding.
