Great shop. Feels very much like an old-school barbershop. Staff was friendly service was great and they all seem to be on the same page when it comes to helping out. I would highly recommend

Been here a couple times now, quick to rush you in and get you out, my appointment was for 9am they had me out at 9:10am. Sideburns are an inch off, no time taken to compare them and make sure they are even, while the cut itself wasn’t miserable, felt very rushed. Then we get to the end and the only thing offered to me was the shampoo, I’m paying 25$ for a haircut which comes with other services, and I have to go out of my way to try and ask for them, instead of them being offered to me. I don’t usually leave reviews but might as well go to fantastic sams and save yourself 15$, poor service won’t be going back. But hey! At least I got a 25 cent water as a complimentary beverage!

I love this salon! They always find a way to accommodate my busy schedule, are very friendly and I’ve never been disappointed how they cut and color my hair!

The stylist is very experienced, the facilities are homey and clean and the owner is very friendly. The people that schedule appointments are also very accommodating.

Ive been getting my hair cut at the Hair Saloon for more than 10 years and I continue to get great cuts and service. Kristine and Janna are my favorite stylists and have been at the Ellisville location for many years. Julia does a fine job too.

You know, you hear about places like this...might even half heartedly think you might luck into one...but deep inside you know theyre only a myth. Not anymore! Hair Saloon for men sets the standard for all things dude related hair maintenance.Things I loved:1. Service was above outstanding. Totally took me by the hand and before I knew it I was sitting with complimentary beverage in hand watching Sports Center.2. Bridgette (the person who cut my hair)....knew exactly what she was doing and knocked it out of the park.3. Scalp massage? Razor shave on the neckline? Yes, please!4. Free cool looking pint glass? Kim is really great with my boys and does a nice job. The salon itself could use some upgrades. The dark carpet shows everything and makes the place seem a bit untidy.

Had my first time ever straight razor shave on Sat and was very disappointed. My expectation was the closest shave i ever had and turned out it wasnt even as good as my foil razor at home as i used it when i got home. Not sure if this girl just didnt have much experience with this process but when she was done, I pointed out that my neck and jaw line was still very ruff. She did try to resolve with her foil razor but was just not good.

Back and forth experiences. You may get a good girl you may not, management needs to scrutinize who they hire more. Some of these girls are crazy to think they can cut hair. Sloppy, rushed, leaving you with what looks ok in store but turns out is uneven and just no style.

I have been going to Hair Saloon since they first opened.... 20+/- years??...and where I took my son for his first cut. Thus a tradition of father-son cuts began and continues today. Home from college for fall break last weekend....he asked if we could go get our father-son cuts again.
