This service call with Air Excellence, was one that was most educational. The service man, Brad, was great! He was so thorough. He educated us on our furnace that No other company had ever taken the time to explain. Brad gave us information on the importance of the color of our furnace flame, the filters and etc. Brad even took a call from us after he had all ready left because my husband and I had an additional question. Pretty disappointed in how our experience with Air Excellence went. Air Excellence was chosen for us through our home warranty. Our old AC had no issues until it pooped out. Air Excellence replaced it with the same size system. Turns out, the size of the old was was too small for the house, and therefore so was the new one. I guess it comes down to the quality of the ACs that are made these days, but the new one just cant keep up. Anytime the temperature is near 100 (pretty often in St. Louis) it gets to be about 85 degrees and unlivable in our house. Since there is nothing technically wrong with the current unit, its just the wrong size, there is nothing that Air Excellence can do with the warranty. I know nothing about AC units, but the power of google can tell you that our current system is undersized for our house. We should have looked this up before they installed it, but we thought we were in good hands. Had it been brought to our attention during the installation process, we would have paid the few hundred dollars more to get a larger unit. Instead, now we have to replace the entire system which will cost $3,500 on top of the already $1,700 we paid Air Excellence (home warranty covered more than that, this was just our out of pocket cost). Lots of headaches caused by something that should have been easily caught.

Air Excellence was great to work with. After dealing with a terrible company, Air Excellence really turned our situation around for us. They were out to our house the same day they got our claim from the home warranty company. The technician, Brad, was punctual and friendly. He took pictures of everything and explained to me what he was looking at along the way. Bette was extremely nice and helpful with getting our appointments booked and finalizing our information. Mike was the technician that installed our new furnace and he was awesome as well. He went above and beyond by also fixing our air ducts for no additional charge on a Friday night when I’m sure he wanted to get home. Everyone was very willing to answer any questions and work with our schedules. Great work and great customer service. Couldn’t be happier!!

Our air was not working and it was 95 outside and Sunday. Our home warranty called and said Air Excellence accepted the job and would be out this evening. We couldnt have asked for better service, a better experience, or better advice for our system going forward. Air Excellence is as top notch as they come. Their company has been out to service my AC unit a number of times and always left with the unit working and keeping my family cool. This most recent time they rescued me through my home warranty company, after another tech from “No Problem Heating & Cooling,” sent a report back to my warranty company that “nothing was wrong.” It took Air Excellence less than 5 minutes to diagnose that my coil was leaking and some major repairs / replacements were needed.Short story, if you want a trustworthy company that will fix your AC or furnace, then Air Excellence is the company to call!!!

My air conditioner was on the fritz. I contacted my home warranty company(HSA) and requested a better contractor then I had last year which I had a poor experience with. These guys are incredible! Got a 36 year old furnace working long enough to get a new system installed on October 3. I went with new everything as my AC was old as well. We had our ac go out and called Excellent to see if they could come out. They were able to get Bradley to come the next day. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and identified the problem quickly. A storm a couple days ago had most likely knocked a couple small parts on the outside unit out as well as the thermostat. He replaced all and we were up and running with an hour. He did and excellent job for what I believe was a reasonable cost.

Great experience with Brad. Just a normal yearly inspection but he went above and beyond. Made sure we knew what he was doing, gave tips on proper function, and ensured we knew what need to be done in spring when we turned on the air conditioning next year. I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with Air Excellence for several years. They’ve replaced 3 furnaces and 2 air conditioners. Brad and Michael are incredible technicians. The office staff are so courteous and responsive. Their prices are extremely competitive and I never feel they are proposing unnecessary work. I don’t know how they do it but their response time is unbelievable even in the middle of the summer and winter when other companies take several weeks to schedule an appointment. Sure, they are not as large as some of the other companies but that is no reflection on the quality of work they perform. I especially like the fact that their owner typically is involved in every project to some extent.

Going through a warranty service, we are used to it taking days for a call back. We received one promptly, and they came out quickly. The technician was very knowledgeable, and showed us different things we could do to keep our equipment running smoothly. Going through a warranty company you never know what youre going to get but I was pleasantly surprised with my experience with Air Excellence. Very thorough and willing to work with my schedule and the service tech, Bradlee, went above and beyond in my opinion. Our 23 yr old a/c unit has been laboring through the summer and he went out of his way to clean the unit and inspect all aspects of it and the air handler inside. Aside from cleaning the unit he gave his recommendations on other things we can do to help the unit keep our house cool until its time is up. Warranty work or not well be calling Air Excellence for our future needs.

We were very pleased with the service and product that Air Excellence provided. We tried 3 different companies for maintenance before finding Air Excellence. We needed a new AC, ours was original to the house, and decided it was best to replace the entire system. We called 2 other companies for comparison pricing but the initial quote we received from Air Excellence was the most competitive price and service. They were also very accommodating with our schedule. I called back and forth with the office many times and always received a prompt courteous response. I was a bit leery about the entire system being replaced in a single day with just one installer and Brad, but they did a great job and I never had to worry about them being in the house. I know our basement was cleaner after they left than before. In an effort to make our system run even more comfortably they installed a bypass for our humidifier which required an additional days installation. When I called to inquire if the parts were in they not only responded, they came out on a Friday night and installed the additional pieces while I got all 4 of our children to bed. I dont think my kids even knew they were there.The icing on the cake was when Brad asked if we had considered selling our old furnace on craigslist. It was fully functional just inefficient and installed less than five years earlier as a home warranty replacement. He even helped my husband with the wording and how to figure out the details to list. It was sold and picked up within 36 hours!We liked Air Excellence and Brad from our initial service call and after this experience we know who we will call for any further service needs. It has become abundantly clear to us that Brad and his installers know their equipment inside and out and they will go above and beyond to take care of their customers.

Excellent service! I just had a tune up call scheduled and my blower fan ended up being loose. The tech fixed it in about 10 minutes and was very reasonable for the extra work. I value a vendor who can recover from a difficult situation. After a quick response to our service call, Joe wasnt getting the right response from a circuit card he replaced. Gave us a band-aid solution till next day when he returned with a new card which worked. Great Experience with Air Excellence!! After my AC quit working on the Sunday evening of Memorial Day weekend, I knew I was in trouble. I called around to every repair place I could think of on Memorial Day and out of the few that actually called back, Air Excellence was willing to come out that day with no crazy holiday charges! Other places quoted up to an additional $180 before they even step foot at my house.Brad came out to my house in the pouring rain and walked me through the problem with my AC. Instead of just fixing it and never letting me know what was wrong or what could go wrong in the future, Brad helped to educate me on the issue and what he was doing to fix it. The price was extremely reasonable, especially since this was on a holiday. It was cheaper than most places regular rate!! Would highly recommend!
