My fiance and I moved it in April. Not fully moved in yet as for he is transferring from Florida. I would liketo say this place is very nice. I had a minor maintenance issue and Emmanuel was right there within 5 min of the call. He was AWESOME. We thank you. A great complex to live. Thank you!
My girlfriend and I (mid 20s) lived in the first floor of a couple new construction apartments from 2017 through late 2020. This neighborhood always felt safe and welcoming to us during our stay. We toured ~13 different apartment complexes in the nearby Newark/Elkton area, and WCV was BY FAR our favorite. We lucked out with awesome neighbors, and management really does make an effort to facilitate a positive community culture. My gf could go on evening walks alone around the complex and never once felt unsafe. Overall, the location is relatively central and has its perks (you can very easily avoid the $4 toll on I95--that adds up!).I would 10/10 recommend this place (especially new construction) for anyone who is looking to live in a safe complex in Elkton.
Sandra and Mary in the leasing office are some of the kindest, most helpful people I have ever dealt with in the context of applying for leases and dealing with property managers. They were accommodating, informative, happy to help, quick to follow up, and happily answered all of my questions fully in a way that brought comfort and excitement to the typically stressful and tedious process of applying for apartments. Thanks to them, I am happy to call West Creek Village my new home! Dismiss the older reviews citing poor management - these guys are amazing, I promise!
Grounds are always clean and cut, friendly neighbors and attentive management etc. Just make sure you have some form of transportation, Im from the city where everything is pretty much in walking distance. Out here the closest store is about a mile or further. Other than that Im completely satisfied
All-over great experience and place. This place was able to help us in our time of need and in a hurry. We had an apartment fire in our old place which left my bf and I homeless living out of hotels. This place was the only place that was able to get us an apartment in less than a week. They also helped at a special rate since we didnt have required amount for down payment after the daily costs of hotels and losing more than half of our property in the fire. Along with the American Red Cross, this place was God sent.
I lived there for 2 years and 4 months and was never late on rent. I even got the apartment professionally cleaned before leaving. I made 3 attempts for office to do walk over but there was no response. There was just e-mail communication to drop keys and gym card in their office. Four months after leaving the apartment, I get call from Debt Collection Agency with fabricated charges related to carpet and stove. I never received any official communication from them prior to that call. I have made 5 attempts to directly contact them but other than one office manager there has been no official response. He response also indicated that I just have to deal with Debt Collection Agency. I have reported them to Maryland Attorney General and also reported their parent company to Delaware Attorney General since it is malicious attempt to blackmail people who cannot afford to get their credit and rental histories ruined.
This is a great place to live quiet and nice neighborhood. However, the management is so bad.
West Creek Village is just OK. You pay for what you get. You can certainly tell the buildings are old. The best part is the parking - we hardly ever have issues finding a spot thats close to our apartment. We have seen reviews about roaches/mice, but we never had that issue. We get some nasty spiders...but were also by the woods, so of course spiders will be here. The office staff seems nice, but theyre not very good at replying to emails in a timely manner. Its definitely not a bad place to live, but we probably wont renew.
Dont waste your time living here. They will tell u they allow a certain breeds which is a lie. My animal is a mix because she looks like a husky they believe she is and is telling us she must vacant our home. Vet records state otherwise . Their staff doesnt care about damages to your property as well from their mess ups from supposedly fixing other apts that destroy yours.
Love love love this apartment complex!!! affordable rent, friendly staff, nice neighbors, and free continental breakfast on weekday mornings! not to mention the apartments are a great size, and are beautiful inside and out. couldnt have picked a better place to live!
Amazing & clean . Always come out same day for maintenance . Office staff is kind and sweet . Apartments r updated & large layout . I have no complaints at all .
I dont understand why the gym is closed yet all other gyms are open
Lived here for 5 years, payed every rent on time, were great neighbors. For all the maintenance reports you have to put in to get anything done we enjoyed our stay. Even with rent rising every other year you live there. But you would think a place would be happy for you to buy a house for the first time, but the second we informed West Creek we were leaving everything changed. They try to hit you with the most bogus fees in the world, and are rude and nasty to you. So anytime they are being nice it’s s just because they know they are overcharging you!! They even tried charge us month to month fees even though we weren’t! One of THEIR staff never signed our lease and completed the paperwork. I HAD TO BRING IT TO THEIR ATTENTION! All around horrible experience ruined by the negativity. I would stay away!Oh and can’t forget the roach problem it took us two years to solve. Horrible horrible place.
I currently live here and i like it. I have not had any problems with maintenance or anything. the only issue i do have is the building structure I live on 2nd floor so when it rains I get wet bcus the 3rd floor the rain drains down. The need to pressure water my door its very nasty. I renew my lease for another 2 years. I moved here last year from NC so this was the apartment I choose, all other are just flat out way to high. 2 bedroom and 2 baths is great for what I pay. Its quiet for the most part but I do alot of studying and the people are nice. I have not had any issue with business management. I love chatting with Mrs. Peggy when I go for breakfast in the mornings. if my front entry way was pressure wash I would give them 5 start.
Just moved in 4/2017 My wife and are happy with the unit. All new appliances, floors, bathrooms. Office and maintenance dept very friendly and helpful. Lots of amenities in complex...
Good - Spacious ApartmentsBad - Lighting poor on roads.Maintenance takes months to fix things and if you fix yourself they charge youPeople throw bags of trash IN Front of trash can because they dont feel like putting it IN the trash canPeople leave dog poop everywhere.People race through parking lots, an animal or kids may get hit one day. This coming out of vents is No reason to worry
I love the amenities they offer here. The entrance to these complexes is beautifully. The gym is small and not much to it mostly treadmills. Pool is great and people working there are great as long as your respectful of course. Compared to where we lived before (Rosedale) this place is awesome. Pricing is not bad, there are a couple cons I will mentioned though. Maintanance takes long to answer requests but when they do they always do their best to complete it. Sometimes you have to call again and again for a problem but it will get fixed no matter what. One last thing is the pet deposit it is pretty high compared to other locations. All and all not a bad place to live. I also forgot to mention neighbors are respect and great
NEVER RENT FROM THIS PLACE. During the lease, maintenance would enter my apartment when I was sleeping in underwear numerous times failing to knock or call as requested. Their staff in the main office was completely rude to me and would only ever contact my husband. Not once was I informed or contacted on any situation, only my husband. I am also a lease holder and the one who signed and sent out the rent payments. The property manager is two faced and spat in my face while being the most pleasant to my husband. I was given incorrect information at the end of my lease to the point to where they charged us an extra month’s rent and stated they would take us to court if we did not pay an additional service charge on top of the additional month’s rent? Which was never explained at any given point in time. They decided to go electronic and failed to send out a lease renewal which resulted in a delay, as in the previous year it was posted on our door which we had expected. Which resulted in a waste of 1300$. This place also does nothing in regard to noise complaints and inhumanely fails to take in any concerns of their residents.
I have lived there for two years. The recycling dumpsters are quite far from the building I live in and the gym really needs more maintenance, everything else is good so far.
I currently live here. Dont bother doing it. Only move here if youre okay with getting told incorrect information by new staff and being called stupid by, Natasha, the current property manager. Weve been trying to get a hold of her for 3 weeks and finally she decides to return our call and insults me in the process.Im still waiting for maintenance to come fix our deck which has had boards sticking up. Been waiting since summer. Will be filing complaint with the BBB & with Pettinaro.
Horrible!!! You will regret living here!!Don’t bother putting a service request in they take over a month to even show up and then they don’t even fix the problem they just glue it and then it breaks again in a couple of days. Rude people in the office who like to play favorites. They have no problems threatening you if you’re late on rent but if you have even one complaint they ignore you or just hang up. You call the office to ask some questions and they tell you they will call you back and they never do. All they care about is your money and ripping you off because the cost to live here is not worth it.
Almost completed my application process, had given the deposit and everything, only to be turned away because my 5 month old Australian Shepherd puppy was considered a dangerous breed. Then, was told it would take up to 2 weeks to refund my deposit...and its 3 days shy of 1 month that I have been still waiting.I had to give an immediate deposit to hold the apartment but they can take their time...hmm?!?!
Very nice place. ...Friendly People. ..
Wood stairs and floors come with huge noisy issue and the leasing office would do nothing.
I think it’s an alright place.
Best place ever
I like this village
