My fiancé have been at this location for around 7 months now & I wanted to wait for the full experience to write a review. This location has been amazing for us. When we first applied we had already been in a different lease with an apartment in the Newark area, which was AWFUL. The team here at meadows were very helpful, understanding, & efficient in helping with our situation at that time. So it was a great first impression! All of the neighbors I’ve come in contact with are always very kind and quick to smile or say hello. The office is always very time efficient, and helpful if there were ever any issues. Which was only once or twice with minor things, which frankly will happen any where you go. It’s never too loud, and has some beautiful views of sunsets most days from your porch or balcony! Office is always good with letting you know of anything going on, for example if they need maintenance to come in and just check that the hot water heater is working properly, as well as the heat/AC, etc. (as good tenants should!) They even put a Little bag on your door the first of every month with a calendar of other things they might be doing that month. Going from our previous living situation to this one has been such a relief & I finally feel that I love the place I come home to every day! Will 100% be signing for another year. 10/10 would recommend.
This place is absolutely horrible! For a 2 bedroom apartment that is so outdated (like the 80s called and they want their kitchen back) and half of the appliances don’t work, it seems like the only appliance that works is the microwave THAT WE BOUGHT! All for $1250 a month! And trying to get ahold of the front office is a joke! I swear you can get ahold of the IRS office after hours before getting ahold of someone in that office. And when you call for maintenance, they don’t answer (surprise there), when the do call you back (which is usually in 2 days) than they come to “fix” the issue but they guy just looked at the problem and said they needed to order a part and it’s been 3 months and we have called and no one has gotten to us. Half of the outlets don’t work! My boyfriend and his roommate should have left when their lease was up. And when they fixed something they charge you for the maintenance? Like I thought the point of renting was to have the Landlord to pay for maintenance. Like isn’t that in the rent or am I tripping? I have lived in a couple of complexes and they were ALL great. But this one is horrible. For ANYONE who is looking please look somewhere else. Staying here and renewing our lease was one big mistake! You can find BETTER PLACES THAN THIS s*** hole. I really think this place needs to get their stuff together. We enjoy renting because of the less stress and certain things we don’t have to worry about but it’s been a horrible year and a half. We are actually looking to break our lease because it’s that horrible. And when talking to friends and family about this complex, they have also heard horrible things about here. I’m just very disappointed in this living situation and I would hate for someone thinking they are going to be moving in to “such a great” place because in reality it is NOT!
I moved here in October of 2020. The office staff made it a easy transition especially tracy. Apartments are spacious & was very clean when I moved In. Its very quiet out here. Definitely would recommend it..
I have recently relocated here from another state with my two 1 year old twins. From the very beginning the manager Kimberly has been wonderful! She has been very professional, polite, and just an absolute pleasure. She walked me over to my place on the first day and made sure everything was to my liking. Whenever there has been a problem, she and maintenance has quickly resolved it.The maintenance man John is very thorough. He explains what hes going to do and why the problem arose in a language I can understand.I love my place and the people here. The neighbors are very friendly. I love it.
This place is terrible! My daughter lives here and they either discriminate against age or race since the leasing office is so unprofessional plus they charge her for every little thing and leave letters on her door constantly or they are emailing her about things that are untrue. This is the worst place ever! Don’t move here!
These apartments are professionally managed by an attentive and caring team. They keep the grounds and buildings clean, updated, and well-maintained. The rental office team is so helpful and organizes regular activities for the residents. Maintenance requests are dealt with promptly. We felt very safe here and the neighbors are friendly. Long-term residents even have attractive gardens in front of their units.
This is a great place to call home! It is safe, well kept, comfortable and a great location. I lived at the Meadows for a year and only moved because I work in Delaware and wanted to reduce my taxes. The Management team is on it. From move in to move out they helped me all the way. Special kudos to Tammy Rodgers who runs a tight ship here.I have nothing but good things to say about my experience here. I had 1 small issue with an appliance, reported it, and Charles was there the next day and resolved it. Thank you for letting me be a resident.Tom
We recently moved into an apartment here and had an issue arise in the unit. Called the leasing office and worked with Kim (Kimberly), who got right on top of the matter to assist very quickly. So I just wanted to say, thanks again for all your follow-up and prompt assistance! You and your staff/services have been really great to work with and I appreciate everything! I am very impressed with the level of customer service Kim and the office provided!
I’m so excited me and my boyfriend are moving in August 2nd, the people in the office are so nice and they are very understanding! We are super excited to starting this new journey
Great apartment. ..spacious..quiet...wonderful friendly staff that listened and took care of things! Good experience living here...would recommend.
BUYER BEWARE!!! Substandard cheap plastic blinds, closet fixtures that broke and nasty old appliances. AC and heat was 20 plus years old and everything was electric so it cost about $200 a month in utilities just for one person to live there. Did the bait and switch and gave me an apartment I did not request but had to move into anyway due to the timing of my move and starting my new job. Apartment was permeated with the smell of curry from the prior tenants and I had to have the carpets cleaned and scrub the walls to get rid of it. Finally went away after about a month of scrubbing and airing it out. Would never have moved in but they had me over a barrel since they did not tell me the apartment with the walk in closet and private balcony that was promised was not available until I went to sign the lease and move in, my truck of furniture waiting outside, ready to go..Substandard in every way. The real apartments are nothing like the model they show you. Now they are trying to cheat me out of my security deposit. DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME LOOKING!
These apartments are extremely ordinary compared to its neighbor apartment complex. The buildings have dull exteriors and the the insides are nothing special. They have increased rent twice in the last year, and there are no major amenities. The pool is ok, the State of the art gym is a small fitness room, they built a giant concrete slab with 2 tables and 2 small grils, and the tennis court no ones uses because come on... You pay luxury apartment money for a mediocre one.
Not really a fan of this place. The leasing office staff isnt helpful at all. If you call on Monday, and dont follow up, they will most likely get back to you on Thursday. The fixtures in the apartments could get a huge upgrade and the linoleum on the bathroom and kitchen floors should look a little less warped. OH! And dont bother calling for maintenance--they will get there whenever they feel. It seems as if two people work there, part-time. I called for them on Monday, regarding plumbing issues (which seems serious given water is needed to bathe and for other sanitary/hygienic needs), I heard nothing from them until the next Tuesday. I have a dog and the last thing I want to do is have people in my apartment, unannounced, freaking him out or causing him to escape out of the door!Sigh!Other than that, the grounds are tidy, which is a plus, the neighborhood is eerily quiet (because no one talks to each other) and you are not far from UD, a Waffle House, Pulaski Highway and the I-95 (which are huge pluses).
