I would give 0 stars if Google would allow me to. I live right around the corner from this store location so whenever I need to pick something up real quick I go here because unfortunately there aren’t any other stores like this near me. The employees never seem to know what they are doing, there is only ever ONE register open out of two and I have never ONCE seen them open the second one even during busy times. Often times the employees will stand behind the registers and straight up ignore you despite there being several people in line. Cashiers are always incredibly slow. Products are always stacked up in the aisles as if no one can be bothered to try and put them away, so the aisles are almost always crowded while shelves are empty. I’m also pretty sure I saw one of the store managers go on a smoke break outside when there was a line full of people—she chose to go on break instead of helping out. I’ve been to this location probably over 20 times now and it’s like this every. single. time. I’ve worked in retail for years and it’s infuriating every time I visit. I’ve considered calling the DM or even corporate to complain. Please, Dollar General, DO BETTER.

Its your typical Dollar General. It isnt clean but it isnt dirty. The prices arent the best but they arent the worst. The employees arent super friendly but they arent rude. Good things for this location are that it has some produce though it is very limited. They also have a decent refrigerated and frozen selection though it is limited to mostly best selling items. It is a good store if you live nearby and need some of your more common items and dont want to drive to one of the superstores.

Stopped at a different dollar general. Loved it. They have potatoes and produce. Very clean. Friendly.

Aisles full of boxes couldnt see everything.. But nice employees.

Its a good store but needs improvement. Difficult getting around the store with boxes everywhere. They need a night shift to come in and put all things in shelfs and stock them too.

App says they close at 10 yet they tell me 8. Pretty sad how in 2020 they cant keep up with their own app.

Im starting to wonder if this remodel will ever be done. Several items I normally get were out of stock and tons of stock pallets in the isle ways. Some of its nice they just need to get it organized and fully stocked.

This one is located in Elkhart Indiana on Old US 20. The first one I went to was on old US 33 otherwise known as South Main Street in Elkhart. The one on South Main Street was a total pit. So much stock in the aisles that you couldnt get a cart through without dragging a box behind you that the cart was caught on. Sales people were putting items away but when I asked for help they just pointed to another aisle and said its over there even though I couldnt get to the section because of U-boats in the way. There were shelves all over in many of the aisles also..The reason I actually came in to Dollar General to begin with was because of a sales flyer I had received over the weekend. It showed the Clorox wipes 4 pack of 35 wipes each for $7.50. If you purchase $15 you saved $5. I went to both of these stores and neither one had this item. I was purposely buying it for work where are nurses use Clorox wipes on a regular basis. At the second store I question whether they have the items. I was told they never got them in. I questioned further and didnt understand why then it would be in a flyer to bring people in purposely for that item. I was taken to the store manager who just shrugged her shoulders and said thats how it is. We dont get everything in. We dont do rain checks, we dont do substitutions. Its just how our corporate is.Well let me tell you something corporate, I am totally disappointed. I have been a customer of Dollar General for many many years up until today. I will no longer be entering your buildings. Even though I was happy to hear that a new store in Bristol Indiana has just opened. Also another one is going in at a location in South Goshen. Neither of which will I enter anymore. Your rules and regulations are horrible for your customers. I feel if youre going to put something in an ad that all stores should have it. I totally wasted gas and my time for absolutely nothing. Always long long lines and the lines go in every direction because there is not any clear route. When I come to this particular dollar general I plan for my trip to be longer than if I were at another store

Huge variety and very organized

Very convenient, reasonably priced from pet food to housewares to automotive, you name it.I love their nuts snacks selection. Good prices in that area.

Dollar general now has fresh produce and a larger cooler and freezer sections. Love that I dont have to go 10 miles to the grocery store.

The lady at the counter was super difficult, and rude. I asked her for headphones and she insisted I buy the spiderman headphones... Im 36 lady what the hell!?! and then acted all high and mighty cuz I bought the $5 pair!!

Finally updated the building looks nice inside. Went to get a last minute couple items at 9:45pm they close at 10pm but the doors were locked and they said sorry were closed sign says till 10pm so off to Meijer on the other side of concord. If I’m scheduled to work to 5:00 I don’t clock out at 4:45. Maybe they should change their hours to fit their needs.

Love the remodel its really nice. Always have issues with the coupons and some cashiers are good about making sure I leave there happy but some just dont seem to care

Convenient that they are so close and have a lot more selection since the remodel but this store is usually a mess and on numerous occasions have closed before the scheduled time mostly due to insufficient staff.

Only one cash register open on a Friday and Saturday night. They renovated but they do not have enough cashiers. Always a long line.

When I’m short of time always Dollar General helps me!!! You can find there a little of everything! Food, clothes, medicines,alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.... and their app it’s fabulous, you can save a lot of money with coupons!!!

This is the fastest shopping experience. If your not bothered by crowded aisles the prices are right on the little items you need in a hurry.

The new layout is chaotic and everything has been put in absolutely different places.

Great place to come to, definitely one of the best Dollar Generals in the area.

Too many freestanding displays to block the aisles instead of properly utilizing the end caps. It is cluttered and items fall off the cardboard displays because people hit them with their carts.

Why, why, why is every Dollar General store I go into a mess?Even in new stores, aisles are partially or fully blocked with overflowing stock carts and clothing displays are jumbled with clothes falling off hangers.

They have quality brands and also generic of the same for less for most over the counter meds.
