This is just a very small office handling purely pick up (yellow sticker) and drop off. Go to other locations if you need full postal service. The staff at this postal office is very nice but just the line could be long.

Honestly I can see why people feel inconveniences here, but this is clearly a small office without much capability to handle inquiries on missing packages. I can speak from personal experience however, that the staff are generally attentive and regular parcel pickup is smooth. Depending on the day and time, the wait can be somewhat long, but nothing preposterous.
The wait was long but they were efficient. We needed a new mailbox key. She changed the locks that day and even called me later that night to confirm it had been done . Friendly staff that work hard to get the mail out. Be kind.
Merjo who is the supervisor was very unprofessional and no accountability. Always on lunch break everytime we go asked for him to resolve our issue about our missing mailbox keys. He never called us back as told for follow up. Since Sep.29 until now no news if our keys are ready. Their excuse is that the one in charge of the keys is on vacation. So disappointed and seems no one knows whats going on.
This post office has lost several packages, including my Masters Degree and all they can say is that they showed that it was delivered. I have currently been on hold for 20 minutes just to find out if my new mail box key has been cut because I went in last week after I paid for it and it wasnt complete on the day they said it would be ready. So instead of taking time off work to go in there, since they dont open before 10 am, I decided to call. Just for fun I am staying on hold just to see exactly how long I will hold before someone actually helps me. My money is on 60 minutes. If you dont have to deal with this post office, consider yourself lucky. This is the absolute WORST service I have ever experienced!
I have been receiving my parcels with this branch & every time I miss my package or not at home it becomes an uphill task to get to the post office. Their phone lines are always busy... They need to hug a high power line.
Our mail goes to a mailbox on a country road. Sometimes, the mail person doesnt close the door to the box, and it hangs open, for all to see and take. Also, when I put a red flag up for outgoing mail, he doesnt put it down. And, most importantly, I need to give them two notices for vacation hold: 1) a few days before, and 2) a second time, in the box because he delivers the mail anyway and then sees my card folded like a a sawhorse in the box, saying SECOND NOTICE. I am very worried about this.
I wish I could post a negative score! This place loses packages and never, ever learned to answer the phone. I called 5 times today and it literally ran out of ringing each time! Now have tried over 8 times to call never answers the phone. I guess the late 20th Century is advanced for USPS or at least here!!!!
DO NOT go to this location unless its for mail-hold pickup. They will take outgoing mail with postage. They do not have a walk-up counter for other services.

Earlier today, I reported that one of the (two) mail boxes on my block was completely knocked down as of Saturday, May 9 at roughly 7:00 p.m. I consider this a matter in need of urgent response. I contacted the Longleaf Drive office and was told it would be reported and that they would have someone get out there right away. As of 7:45 p.m. when I came home the mail box is still on the ground, making retrieving my mail very awkward and difficult. What can I expect in the way of appropriate response to this problem?
I was waiting for my package and when I looked up the tracking info. My package was nowhere to be found. I called the post office and The lady who does my routes said to check the neighbors because it might have gotten misplaced. I go back to the post office because I cannot find it and when the woman looked it up on the computer she reads a completely different address. She tells me to go and pick it up from there as she apologizes to me. While I was at the Long leaf pick up station, I noticed that the phones were going off the hook and they were just being ignored. That is probably why the phone is always busy. My other package that I was expecting said it was delivered by my local post office but again it isnt there . Im so tired of this crap. They are horrible. Customer service is horrible. Service? Horrible. The mail deliverer is new so that can be part of it as well.
I just spoke with Alicia Diaz at the Elk Grove Annex and was pleasantly surprised! After reading all the reviews, I hesitated even calling but really wanted to avoid an unnecessary trip if possible. Although the phone rang for a long time, Alicia answered and handled my problem thus saving me a trip to the Annex. She was really polite and apologized for the length of time it took her to research my question.Thanks Alicia :)
This is the third time they mess up my package, the first time the package is too big to put it in the mail box but they didnt check my door and leave, not even delivery the same package in the next day. I have go drove at the post office and waited in a long line for my package. Second time, same issues, but this time the front desk lady cannot find my package either, at the end the found it at the delivers truck. I dont understand why just hide at your truck and not delivery it? This time, I have the track number and said my package is in my mail box, then I saw the postman just delivery the mail at my mail box too, when I checked it, no package at all. Where is my package again? I still waiting on the phone with USPS now while Im writing this comment to find out my package which is suppostingly I should receive three days ago.
This place sucks. They never pick up the phone and I ordered for my mail to cancel on “hold” service when we got back from our trip and they never did. Now I have to go there just to figure out where our mail is. Such bad service.

Post Office lost my student manual I was supposed to receive on February 21st. I had a green notice card in my mailbox, I live in an apartment, went to the front office to pick it up, it was never delivered... They said She(mail carrier) never dropped off packeges but put notice cards in the mailboxes. I decided to call them but the wait was 30-45 minutes... I never got through... Terrible... I tried going to the station, never been there before, I couldnt figure out how to get into the customer service area, locked door after locked door... Freaking nightmare....If you are employeed with USPS do your damn job correctly!!

These guys suck. They dont care and have no brains. Supervsor has an attitude. She doesnt take responsibility for her teams actions. I have a package that was shipped on 2/26/15 from Oakland and I am still waiting for it today 3/6/2015. I went there two days ago and gave them my contact infomation so they would contact me when my package came in. Instead they sent it back to Oakland. Its now on its way back to Elk Grove.It probably will be another two days befor I get my package. The USPS deserves to go bankrupt !
I drove around the entire facility looking for a mail drop box and there ISNT one! Who the heck ever heard of a post office that doesnt have a drop box! Unbelievable!

This is honestly the worst mail company in all of America, horrible customer service, constantly loses mail, and pretty much never answers any phone calls, everytime I go in there the workers are being lazy and dont want to help anyone.
This place is horrible....long lines, staff is rude and doesnt seem to know what their procedures are. Avoid this place at all cost.
Always loosing mail and checks, sometimes packages are ripped open and items are missing. Sometimes neighbors are giving me my mail and saying they deliver in their mailbox. too many problems cant list them all.Sz
Terrible. Unfortunately this is where I have to go. I had made a mail request saying that I lived in a particular apartment and still need mail and I got mail a couple of days after that, but ever since then I havent received anything!!!!!! Absolutely horrible. If you dont have to go here or deal with this place, dont.
