Patterson Heating & Air Conditioning was quick to get me an appointment in my stressful time of need. They came on time, knew exactly what the problem was, and my heater was fixed within an hour. I also had my AC unit go out that following year, on a very hot day in summer. Patterson H&A came out that same day, and had us enjoying a cool feeling house again in no time. I am a lifetime customer now. Having them help me twice now, fix the problem fast, have my heater and AC back up and running again, and all with a friendly smile and tons of knowledge on what they are doing... Id never go with anyone else.

I have to write this review on such an amazing experience we had with Patterson Heating & Air. Chris the owner went above just good customer service for us as we had a complete central air system replaced. Walked us through every step from start to finish. Making sure we got what we needed to suit our needs, with being mindful of what was comfortable in our spending. His crew came in and were done in 6 hours, and we had 100% cooling comfort instantly. Respectful of our house and took care of it as if it was their own. This is a big purchase/investment, but have zero regrets getting it done, and having lucked out finding Patterson Heating & Air as our company.

Patterson Heating and Air conditioning recently replaced my air conditioning and heating system. They do awesome work and have great customer service. Everything was completed on time as promised. They are very reasonably priced compared to other companies. There were 3 technicians and the owner working on my project and I can’t say enough about how kind and polite they were. I had a problem with my a/c & discovered I just needed to change the batteries in my thermostat. But when I changed them my air would not come back on. My daughter called a couple of companies for me & got a hold of Patterson Heating & Air & spoke to the owner, Chris. He called me back & asked several questions & then walked me through several steps until I got it working. It was on the smokiest of days (from the fires) as well as 100° + weather so needless to say I was miserable. Chris’s concern to help me was over & above what anyone did for me. (My daughter) & I both called several companies & he was the only one who took the extra care to help me. He offered to come out as soon as he completed his customer he was heading to but luckily I got it working. He will be my 1st call when I need heating or a/c help. My rental unit notified me the A/C wasnt working on Labor Day 2020 during a heat wave, COVID, and the statewide fires that were burning making the air quality unhealthy. My tenants couldnt open their windows. I called Patterson Heating & Air on Labor Day and Chris not only answered, but was was on-site within 24 hours to fix my unit. It was working within 45 minutes of his arrival! Excellent customer service and decent prices given the situation. Many thanks to Chris and his professionalism. Patterson fixed a terrible install that we had done on the cheap. Chris provided a clear breakdown of what needed to be fixed and offered a very competitive price. He and his team showed up, got the work done, left the house clean and were on their way. I would highly recommend them for the Elk Grove region and certainly will use them again.

I am extremely pleased with the service offered by Chris Patterson and his wonderful crew. My old unit started leaking and was full of mold so a new unit was needed. The crew of Jerry, Joel, Jason, and Dave were efficient and perfectionists but careful of the furnishing in my home and thoughtful of myself, my daughter and her dog. They cleaned up so well that my garage floor was cleaner than when they arrived. I recommend them highly. I love my new unit. I appreciate that Chris helped me with all the paperwork for Smud and made that process easy. The entire experience was fantastic. Patterson Heating & Air is AWESOME! My air conditioner went out and I wanted to get it fixed ASAP. I called 5 different companies before Patterson Heating & Air and all of them would be able to come out for at least 3 days to 2 weeks. The operators of these other companies werent very nice either. I called Patterson Heating & Air next and spoke with the owner Chris. He was y nice and said he could come out to my house that same day. He arrived during the time slot he gave me and was courteous, helpful, and professional the entire time. Unfortunately I had to replace my AC unit, but he made the sad experience of needing to replace the unit as enjoyable as possible; he was honest, patient, and very informative. He had no problem answering all of my questions (twice even, if I needed him to explain something again). He knew it was important to my family and I to have our new unit installed as soon as possible and offered to come back later in the evening after I discussed the proposals with my husband. After I spoke with my husband and got the ok to move forward, Chris had no problem coming back later in the evening to go over paperwork with both me and my husband. I really really appreciated Chris service. Patterson Heating & Air goes above and beyond making the customer satisfied. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Patterson Heating & Air to all my friends and family!!

Chris and Mark at Patterson Heating & Air are great! Our HVAC went out and we wanted to get it fixed. We had another company came out before and paid $74 for inspection, they provided an estimate, but never called back to go over the details even I called. Patterson Heating charged $69 for diagnostic and waived it after I accepted the contract. They finished the repair in the same day. Thank you for the great job.

When calling around for service help, Patterson was the first company that was able to get out to help us (same day). We knew we were probably in to purchase a whole new HVAC system and that was true. They were very helpful, they reached out a number of times to make sure we didn’t have any other questions, they were competitive in price, not the cheapest but not the most expensive. Their assistance with 0% financing for awhile was invaluable and everyone we worked with was great. The owner is hands on and makes sure he knows what is happening that that his clients are happy. These guys are the best! My AC was blowing warm air, Chris sent Mark out within a couple of hours, who did a thorough check of the system, got it going quickly at a more than fair price, and noted some items to keep an eye on (motor oil leak) and advice on filters to keep the system running efficiently. Our air conditioner broke down in the middle of August.We called our warranty insurance who sent a person to assess the situation.The warranty guy went straight to the condenser unit and changed the capacitor without any evaluation.The fix lasted 2 days.We got 2 independent contractors to evaluate but were told different things.One said we needed a compressor the other said we needed a condenser unit but that if we changed the unit it would not be compatible with our evaporator, etc.We finally met Chris Patterson and the whole experience from start to finish was exceptional, thorough and very professional.He spent time going through every part of the system and then gave us his recommendations.He offered options and answered our questions patiently.He was very knowledgeable and also went out of his way to accommodate our schedule.His team was equally efficient and professional.They arrived on time.They laid out work cloth to protect our carpet from the dust.They finished the job in one day as promised.It was no easy job considering how hot it was and the extent that they needed to do to remove the old system and get the new system in.We would not hesitate to recommend Chris to our friends. He takes pride and ownership on his quality of work. As he will say on his card that Average isnt good enough is true. He and is crew will ensure 100% satisfaction from start to finish.

My husband and I bought a home in Elk Grove last year in November as is. Our neighbors were having their Heating and Air Conditioning system checked and serviced by Patterson Heating and Air like they do every year and have for many years. My neighbor suggested that I too have our system checked out so i did.Well thank the lord up above that I did. When we purchased the home it was as is. Even though our Heating and Air Conditioning system was new it was installed incorrectly. I was telling my husband that I smelled gas and he told me I was crazy well Chris not only found that but several other problems. Chris wrote an estimate and explain while showing me all of the problems. Because of the incorrect installation we had a water leak which caused all of the wood to become wet, that also created black mold.Chris wrote everything up and has worked with us every step of the way. Today, i contacted Chris from Patterson air conditioning for a situation. I was changing the air filter, when the air conditioner turned on and sucked my dryer sheet that was on the floor. In a panic, thinking about a fire, i started calling for HELP. Pattersons was the first i called and left a message. He returned my call. Because of his schedule and mine, he decided that he had an extra few minutes and he would walk me through the process if i was willing. He was very patient as we proceeded. With this young mans help, i removed the panels and found the intact dryer sheet and pulled it out. Yahoo!! The response time for my return air duct issue was timely and as promised. Fast and excellent service. Called Patterson when we had a blower unit go out in the heater. Chris showed up on time and was able to diagnose and repair the problem. He had to go across Sacramento to get a part and worked late Friday evening to get the job done all within the original quote. I will use him again and recommend him to my friends.

Ive used them for a service call on my heater and A/C. Both times with favorable and consistent results. The tech was knowledgeable and friendly. The wore boot covers to keep my house clean, and they diagnosed my problem exactly. They told me was wrong without trying to sell me anything extra. Their website has specials posted, which I used both times. They charged me exactly what was advertised without any hidden fees. The scheduling time was very reasonable, and they were on time. I love their service and I will use them again in the future. Their business card has earned a permanent place on my fridge for all future tune-ups and repairs.

Had our AC stop working late Thursday night.Having numerous health issues and being home bound on a 100 plus degree day started to panic me. I looked up 24 hr emergency services and found Patterson Heating and Air. It was close to 9pm and I expected to get a machine, but to my delight Chris answered the phone and assured me he can help. He showed up the next morning and had my AC humming in no time, what a relief! Chris wonderful customer service skills even managed to win the approval of my very picky Mom that was visiting at the time, so I will definitely be calling him back for our yearly maintenance.

We had our AC go out on 108 degree day. Our regular service was unavailable for two weeks. He was able to fit us in and did an awesome job determining the problem and was able to repair our AC at a reasonable price. He is now our go-to guy for our heating and air.

Our A/C went out during the last time the Gates of Hell opened here in Sacramento and it was 106 degrees. I called our warranty company and they referred Patterson, although they couldnt show up for 3 days. Chris came today and I have to say of all the HVAC people Ive had over here, he was the most knowledgable ever. He had my rooftop monster running in no time and even helped me out with a few resources on other options for heating and cooling my fab 50s home. This guys knows his stuff.

My AC stopped cooling 2 weeks ago & I knew that it needed a freon charge again as this happened last year. I called Patterson Heating & air to schedule a service call. Chris Patterson answered and was very professional and he fit me in his tight schedule the same day. Chris showed up on thorough inspection to get to the root cause as to why the freon needed to be added every year. The culprit was a leak in the evaporator located in the attic of the house, the base of the unit was rusted and showed signs of the leak on a tiny copper line. Chris took his time explaining in details the process to fix it. Two weeks later as scheduled he showed up, replaced the evaporator & fan in an efficient time. Chris & Patterson heating and air are an asset for the greater Sacramento region based on my experience. I would definitely recommend him & company.
