Terrible terrible people. We had a house fire in 2016 that nearly affected that caused us to start totally new construction, DKI was assigned to the job right after this happened. They were planned to do inventory for a couple days to count up our personal items that remained in the home, this turned out to be a disaster. We were let in the home after the fire was extinguished to see the damage and what remained; we noticed all of our personal belongings still where they were originally (this being prior to inventory) these items included expensive sports memorabilia, signed jerseys, electronics, body care products, and a couple of small other things. Since the company was counting things 1 by 1 in each room, we told them to leave everything where it is and that we would clean up after they were done, (assuming we wanted to keep the few things that were still working and fine to use.) We checked the house one day and those personal belongings (that we saw were there prior to inventory) were gone. Disgusting, way to kick someone while they’re down, huh? We reported this to the company and they pretty much said that “they could not do anything about it” and that our belongings were “probably lost in the fire,” when that was apparently not the case. Please stay away from these people, they do not care about people, more so profit.Be aware.
We recently ran into an unexpected issue with sheet rock. After spending a good part of my morning calling every handyman and contractor Google could pull up I made I made one final call to DKI. I spoke with Megan and she went right to work on finding someone to come out within a day of my call. Mind you everyone else I called either did not answer, didnt return my call or were too busy with other work. Megan kept us in the loop the whole time and did so in such a friendly, and very personal way, so much so it felt as natural as talking to one of our own family members. End result.... we were able to get the job scheduled and completed within a day! She as well as her team are truly the definition of a customer service business! thanks a million Megan Merz, you rock!!!!!!
