Extremely satisfied with the work by Abel & Son on my full roof replacement. They replaced it in April, and at 3 months in at the time of this review I have been keeping a close eye on it, especially during long duration rain/ heavy storms, and so far I have not had a single issue. Their pricing was very competitive (I had other estimates from other companies) and everything was straightforward and simple from the beginning. They were actually able to get to my job earlier than initially estimated, so it was great that they were proactive in bumping up my job date when they could. The work was estimated to be 2 days, and although it did go into a 3rd day, it was because a steady rain began by late morning on the first day and they had to stop work. They were careful to make sure everything was covered and protected when the rain started on the first day, and I had no issues. They were done and cleaned up by lunchtime on day 3, so it truly was a 2 day job as they estimated it to be. The three man crew was hard-working, polite, professional, and courteous, as they took the time to answer some questions I had and look at a few trouble spots there were in the old roof I was concerned about. As I said, I have had no problems whatsoever, and I am very satisfied with the job and the process. The crew also did an excellent job at cleaning up upon completion. Also, communication with the company was prompt and consistently responsive. Absolutely would recommend Abel & Son to anyone.

We are very pleased with the result of our roof and new gutters. The men were there when they said they would be, courteous, cleaned up after themselves, were finished in one day, and all knew what their job was and did it, no complaining. We had a leak around our chimney with Tropical Storm Ida. Bob was out on that Monday and took care of it, so far no more leaks, and even took pictures to show us our chimney. We were told to call again if it continues to leak.

I wanted to wait a year or so to review. These guys did great work at a very good value. The foreman was very responsive and they checked back twice to make sure I was satisfied!

They recently completed replacing our hip roof and porch, addition, and garage roofs. Everything was seamless and responsive throughout the process. The estimate involved a thoughtful discussion and included mentioning the need to have our chimney repainted. The work crew was efficient and hardworking and did a good job cleaning up. The final invoice was hand delivered and included a walk around to pick up some final nails. Highly recommended.

I hired Abel to replace my roof, they did an amazing job for a great price!

They installed a new roof. After installation, we had leaks everywhere. They came back a few times to fix it. It still leaked. They promised a new roof and never came back. We recently hired another company to fix it. Once they have their money, good luck seeing them ever again. I responded to the request for calling. Once the owner realized who I was, he said I requested for them to not come back. There was an obvious communication breakdown. He offered a new roof and I declined.

Had a new roof installed yesterday and I love it. They did the whole job in one day. No nails or trash left in my yard whatsoever. Only company Ive EVER dealt with that wasnt pushy on the sale. If youve ever had home improvement projects done you know how pushy those guys can be! That was a big plus. Highly recommend.

As a retired military person, every dollar is important to us. Abel & Son wasnt the cheapest estimate we had, but their estimate was well defined, and covered everything I had requested. A great experience. Able came in with the lowest estimate and was flexible in scheduling the work to meet my schedule. The crew completed the work in less than two days and were meticulous in leaving my home and yard exactly as they found it. Obvious that everyone at all levels take pride in their work and doing a quality job.

Abel and Sons did a terrific job of replacing my roof, siding and trim. Their roof crew was fast, efficient, and left the job site cleaner than they found it. Their siding guys were true craftsmen who made sure every thing was finished with precise care. Finally their gutter installers were effective and creative in designing a new system to remove the water from my roof. My experience from initial contact to completed contract was an easy and great experience. I would recommend them to anyone.

I originally wrote a not so very nice review. My issue with Abel & Son came from poor communication on their part and some on my part as well. But, the owner contacted me soon after my review was posted. He profusely apologized. He explained the blame for my issue was on him and him only. That is a real leader! I could hear the anguish in his voice about the whole incident. This is obviously an owner who cares deeply about his companies reputation. A real throwback to a bygone era and very refreshing these days. Abel & Son are not able to do work for me this time, but rest assured I will call them when I need a new roof and get an estimate from them. They deserve at least that opportunity!
