I love Dr. McCleerey and his staff! My husband and I have been seeing him for several years now and we just recently started taking our two teenagers to him and they really like Dr. McCleerey a lot! It’s awesome when your whole family can go to the same place and all be taken great care of. The whole office is friendly and they take their time to listen. Plus, you’re in and out of there quickly. There are no long wait times. That’s hard to find.

I hate to have to make this review but I’m left with no option. I was told that this clinic isn’t accepting anymore “self-pay customers.” No request for ability to pay, just a hard no. So basically if you choose to refrain from doing business with overly large and greedy insurance companies and choose instead to work hard and set aside cash for emergencies they don’t want you.Sad days we live in where even those who have taken an oath to care for us are much more interested in what company you claim rather than your ability to pay for the “services they perform.”

Dr. McCleerey is the best doctor I have ever had! I have never felt like I was just the next patient on his busy schedule instead Ive always felt like I was his only patient that day. He will spend as much time as he needs to and genuinely cares! My whole family sees him including my small children, rather then seeing a pediatrician and have since infants, for almost 4 years now! When I call, a real live human being answers the phone even if its to ask me to hold for a moment (which is all that it ever is) and I dont have to listen to a recording directing me to press 1 for this or that! When I call for an appointment I always get one that same day and if its late when I call then Ill get one for first thing the next morning! His staff is wonderful! They are all very friendly and helpful. From the very beginning they have felt like family. They call me by name with out a chart in hand and when at an appointment for myself they even ask how my husband or children (calling them by name) are doing! I couldnt ask for more!

Im a relatively new patient here (as of this summer) but this doctors office has still gone out of their way to help me while Ive been sick. I cant thank them enough for how helpful they have all been. The people in the front office, the nurses, the nurse practitioner, and the doctor have all been very great and accommodating.UPDATE 10/23/2017: While the nurse practitioner and front office staff are all very lovely people, the doctor himself is absolutely cruel. I have never, in my life, been treated so horribly by a doctor. I ended up coming down with infectious mononucleosis/EBV—I have no idea how, considering that I don’t party or anything so my best guess is that at age 25 I finally ended up picking it up from somewhere in public. This particular illness has completely taken everything out of me. I have been burdened with fever, chills, extreme fatigue and abdominal pain that makes me feel as though my torso is full of glass. I have ended up in the emergency room due to sever abdominal pain that ended up being inflamed lymph nodes, spleen, and liver. I also can’t stress enough how absolutely weak this has made me.My first visit with Doctor McCleerey (after it came to light that I had mono and not an infection) was okay. He signed a paper to give me a 2 week medical leave so that I could recover. He told me that the effects of mono could last anywhere between days and months, depending on the person.I took the medical leave and tried to recover. I tried resting and drinking plenty of fluids. After 2 weeks my symptoms had changed minimally. So I returned to McCleerey a second time, in hopes that he would extend my medical leave so that I could continue recovering. He told me I might as well return to work, considering the lasting effects of mono could potentially leave me sick for several months. He said I might as well be getting paid in that time.Mind you, my job happens to be a physical one. My job requires me to walk between 6 and 24 miles/day and bend/heavy lifting etc. and there’s no way I could physically handle that if I can hardly even walk to the mailbox without becoming overwhelmingly fatigued. My husband and I pointed this out to Dr McCleerey, so he ended up extending my medical leave. He advised that I work on increasing my stamina in the meantime. So in that 2 weeks, I did everything he advised. I tried increasing my stamina by getting up, walking, doing some household chores. But every time I did this, my fever spiked and I had to take a few moments to rest. The abdominal pain was also severe. So I returned to Dr McCleerey again today, in hopes that he’d listen to me when I tell him that I will not be physically capable of doing my job. Not only was my temperature not even taken (because that would have likely been a tell-all) but before I could even tell him about some of my symptoms these past two weeks, he pushes me and my husband out of the door and practically yells at us saying that he absolutely will not extend my medical leave. When telling him I’d likely lose my job because I wouldn’t be able to keep up, he says “get a new job then” as if that’s an option for just everyone. I’ve been at my job for 6 years. For someone with a PhD, he seems to lack the mental capacity to comprehend that not everyone works in a cubicle. My job has meant a lot to me these past 6 years, but because of this careless doctor I may very well be losing it soon.I don’t understand what I did to deserve the level of disrespect that this doctor presented to me. I absolutely don’t recommend him as a family doctor to anyone that I care about.

There really is no point in even sitting down in the waiting room. I would totally take a star away if I could for the simple fact I sit down, and before I know it I am having to get right back up because this office is ON POINT! They do not play around when it comes to scheduling. I am 6 foot tall so, short couch+ sitting for 2 secs+ being called back= my lazy butt having to work. LMAOHonestly-Wait time- NONEHospitality- PERFECTProfessionalism- AWESOME BUT STILL SO FRIENDLYAppointments- EXCEPTIONAL (same day)Medically- DOCTOR & NURSES HAVE READ THEIR BOOKSCleanliness- GREATThis office is by far the most organized and friendly office I have ever been to. Dr.McClerry is a cool cat.His back story will BLOW YOUR MIND. Ask him what he did bsfore he decided to become a doctor. Lol.**And tell me what other doctors office you can walk into and they have Rolling Stones or ACDC playing? **
