Updating my last review, after my issues getting scheduled I got a call from the director and then the GM of the clinic and they addressed the issues and got me scheduled and the process has been very pleasant since. I always want to feel like the therapist knows more than me and i feel she does and that she cares. Will update again soon.
Extremely unprofessional. I was interviewed by an older man with glasses. He was sarcastic, rude for no apparent reason, and made fun of my issues in a passive aggressive manner. I have received better mental health treatment from a blowhorn. And as I walked out he dont worry I know what I have to do. He was completely sadistic. Weird I know. Im not sure what kind of freak show your running there, but every person should be treated with some human dignity.
None of these people here are evem close being qualified to diganose or treat anything. Just basic people off the street that get a little course. This place is a joke.
My sons appt was @ 3pm at the child behavioral svcs office in Elizabethtown. I was asked to be there 30 min early to fill out an electronic form. Bottom line, I overslept (I work 3rd shift), but I still had my son there 12 min before his appt started. I walked to the receptionists desk. She was on her cell phone. After she finished her conversation she told me she marked me as a no show and Id have to reschedule. We were still early to his appointment and there were ZERO people waiting in the lobby. She refused to let us proceed any further and gave me another appointment time a month down the road. It took us a month and a half to be seen for the first appointment. As others have said, this place is highly unprofessional and absolutely unwilling to compromise. I realize the medical field is not exactly the same as customer service, but if they treat new prospects this way, theres probably a good chance they treat their existing patients the same... or worse. Ill find someone more professional in Louisville, even if I have to wait another month. Do yourself a favor. Stay away from this place. The receptionist could use the extra down time caused by the lack of patients, to achieve a new high score on Candy Crush.
