I have rented here several times but for the life of me I cant understand why, because every single time I have nothing but problems occur. From renting me a car with expired tags all the way to showing up to pick up my car and them not having a single car to even rent... DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION YOU WILL REGRET IT.

I rented a van to take a vacation to Florida to save the miles on my new vehicle but when I arrived to pick the van up they had none but gave me a Expedition at no extra charge. I would recommend Enterprise Rental to anyone needing a rental and I will definitely use them again if needed! Cindy

Wish I could give it zero stars!!! Im in Kentucky for work until next month and they wouldnt rent me a vehicle because my card was a debit card and my license is from another state.. but when the vehicle was reserved, it was done with the same debit card, that they wouldnt take in person??? I was later informed of how that particular manager will slide certain things under the table for certain people.. Ill just take my little 500.00, to the next person. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Most frustrating experience ever. Made a reservation for my wife online on Friday for 11am. Called back again to confirm, for sure, that we’d have a vehicle and the inventory was available. They reassured me that was the case. A few min later get a call from the actual location saying no inventory and might be able to get something by end of the day. It’s Saturday and I call to make sure we are at least on a waiting list and reservation center said we are but there is a full sized truck available if we’d like that. For any info though we’d have to call branch directly. From there the representative gave me a bad number to call. Call back and get a different one. It also doesn’t work. Call again and someone directly transfers me and I get disconnected 10 minutes in. No direct line to the branch is answerable. All just to find out the price difference between a 4d car and a F150. And of course now they are closing for the weekend. Run away fast!

Every time I rent from the Elizabethtown KY Enterprise location, the customer service is absolutely outstanding. The people really seem to care about taking care of their customers. The Assistant manager Ashley always seems to go over and above making sure I have what I need and makes sure the vehicle is always clean and ready to go when I get there.

It was very nice! They picked me up at the body shop. I had to wait a few minutes but it wasnt bad. I miss being able to sit down while I waited. Thanks, Covid. But everything went quickly. Staff was friendly.

Picked up the vehicle, made a stop at the store, drove home and check engine light came on. Local Enterprise store was closed. Called Enterprise service. They offered for me to drive vehicle to approved service shop but I didnt have car seat for my grandchild so couldnt leave home. Called Enterprise service back and the second representative scheduled an exchange of the vehicles. The entire process took nearly 4.5 hours before exchange of vehicles was complete. This was due to local Enterprise stores being closed so tow truck had to go to the airport to obtain the exchange vehicle. Recommendation would be for local offices to have managers on call in order to respond and provide faster services.

They increased their prices and the down payment jumped from 200 to 300 per rental. When I got there, the SUV I was renting wasn’t ready. They took it and washed it and half cleaned it out. He had to end up taking it again to be cleaned but when I did finally get the vehicle it still had dog hair in it and the cup holders wasn’t clean. To make matters worse, the oil light came on while I was out of town.

The reps were great to work with and very customer focused making sure the vehicle I was getting would suit my needs while mine was in the shop. They were very understanding as my insurance company kept delaying the repairs and kept extending my contract with no issues.

We were upgraded from a standard car to an SUV, Dodge Journey, it still got 25 MPG on our drive to Atlanta. The car was comfortable, didnt stink and only had about 5,500 miles on it when we left out. Our only complaint, and its seemingly minor, was that the interior of the windows were dirty.

Picked my rental car, a 2020 Kia Optima at the Elizabethtown, KY location. Very pleased with the excellent greeting and customer service from the agent. The smell of air freshener was over-powering, headache inducing. Went to the grocery store with my wife to get a few items for the family while I was out of town. When we opened the trunk to put our groceries in I was shocked to find someone elses garbage still in the trunk. Nothing gross, but my confidence that the car had been properly cleaned and sanitized dropped drastically. Upon arrival to my destination in Terre Haute, IN I noticed the car was making a grinding sound, like the tailpipe was dragging. Since the location I was working at was in walking distance to my hotel I let the car sit since no Enterprise locations were open on Sunday. On Monday morning I called the Downtown Terre Haute office on Wabash and was told by the agent who answered the phone that they had no cars and she was busy. If I wanted to have the car looked at and repaired I could take the car to any Firestone or Bell Tire location. I made an appointment for 10 AM, dropped the car off and walked back to my hotel, it was 30 degrees and drizzling! I called another Enterprise location on US41, and the agent was much more sympathetic but said he could not get me a replacement until 3:30 or 4:00. The latest I could check out of my hotel was noon. Fortunately the Firestone dealer called and told me it was nothing serious, a piece of plastic underbody skid plate had broken loose and was dragging the ground intermittently and that I could come and pick up the car. So, again I walked to the Firestone location and picked up the car. Had no problems on the way home.

Do not rent here. I made a reservation, had to take off work to pick up car only to be told they could not rent to us, due to driver license being expired. I informed them there was an executive order from the state allowing 90 day past expiration due to covid-19. They said they was aware of the order, but it was their policy not to follow it. Why are you following the mask order then? I didnt know you could pick and choose what government mandate you follow. We have always rented cars here, but never again. Oh and when I called the area manager about the problem, she never returned my call. See you Enterprise.

I am very thankful for the customer service given to me by all of the agents at the Enterprise located in Elizabethtown KY. Having just lost my mother to a fight of cancer I was trying to get my flight and travel plans together as well as get moved into my new apartment and they helped me keep organized for like three or four days I was so thankful . Ashley and CJ you guys rock I truly appreciate you My mother was my backbone and my rock and although I knew the time was coming I was not ready at that time. So between work and trying to get travel dates straight as well as just getting a new place I was in a whirlwind of a head space. I did not have to come to the site daily to extend and I was not able to vacuum out the car and you guys was like no problem and did not charge me for it. Thank you I will keep doing business with this company mainly due to the employees impeccable customer service.

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.... I have rented from enterprise for years and this was the worst experience ever! Management does not care about the customers ! You could tell she don’t want to talk to me or my mother looking away the whole time and just very rude..... when I did ask if I could speak to a manger she said that’s me and nothing else. So my day was already going to badly and enterprisemad it way worse! I thought you all was here to help!

The truck that I rented was filthy. I had to air the tires up twice before I checked it back in. My daughter found a rotten banana in the glove box. I wasnt pleased with the vehicle at all but I was in a situation that I needed the truck for the weekend and there was not another truck on the lot.

I normally like this location but my latest rental has put a bad taste in my mouth. They always try to get you to buy the protection and I always say no and they are usually polite about it. But this time the younger male salesman (I don’t recall his name) said so you are just going to take your chances with a $20,000 car and I said yes I never buy the protection. I felt like this was a uncalled for comment. I understand that the protection is how he makes his commission but I am still a customer and this was uncalled for.

On 10/4/2019... this Enterprise team restored my faith in humanity after pulling off a near impossible task. After been given the run around by the insurance claims office and numerous attempts by our agent to find us a vehicle, Tony and his wonderful managers Alexa and Jeff found us a vehicle that suited our needs, stayed open late to clean it for us and made sure we were completely satisfied with it before signing any paperwork. I cant say Thank You enough to this team and their dedication to customer satisfaction... I will continue to use Enterprise in the future as my rental company... Enterprise staff was superb! They picked me up from home initially when my truck went to the auto-body place. The insurance company (of the OTHER guy) paid for everything. Had the rental vehicle nearly 4 weeks with no problems whatsoever. When I retrieved my truck, I left the rental at the body shop and Enterprise staff came over to pick up. They credited my $50 deposit before I called them to see what I needed to do. Excellent vehicles and customer service was outstanding. VERY PLEASED.

Very friendly and helpful staff, they were willing to pick me up from the car dealer while my car was being worked on for warranty worked. I was at the Enterprise office for no more then 5 minutes and walked out with a great vehicle ( 2018 Ford Fusion) that suited my wife and I until our Vehicle was out of the shop. I have leased vehicles, for business, from the Elizabethtown location for several years. I lease vehicles several times over each year. The managers have always been wonderful (Richard is one of our favorites; I am sorry to hear that he will be at a different location now). The staff-always is helpful. My one disappointment is the use of points. I understand that the points must be used when making a reservation online. However, I reserved a vehicle in advance (I usually make an reservation about one month ahead of time). My reservation was made at the desk, in person, for a very good rate. But, I was unable to put my points towards the upcoming rental. So, I went online, made my reservation and of course, my rate was higher. When I applied the free days, my rate was basically the same as the good rate that I obtained when I made the reservation in person. So in essence, I got the same rate one way or another, but really didnt have any advantage in using my enterprise points. :-/

I reserved a truck for an early pick up, when I arrived they informed me that a truck would not be available for hours, when I inquired about the trucks sitting in the parking lot, she form us those were reserved for someone else, I guess my reservation wasn’t as important as the other customer’s reservations. Good service. I recently rented a car and it was clean and in good mechanical shape. The staff were very professional and prompt in taking care of me. If there were one thing I would like to see done differently it would be how you fuel the vehicle when you turn it in. Every rental car place I have ever been to has always required you bring it back full. Not so here. You must guess your way to the level it was when you rented it. Not very convenient for the customer. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Enterprise made the process simple, even picking us up at the local collision repair center. The only negative was that the vehicle smelled of smoke . . . and we werent given an option of an alternate vehicle. However, when I returned the vehicle and discussed it with a staff member, he was more than willing to address the issue and make amends.

I recently hit a deer and did significant damage to my car. The body shop said it would be 2 weeks to repair. Through my insurance and enterprise getting a vehicle equal to my own was no problem. Would have given 5 star but was charged $13.25 out of my $50 deposit. When I ask why. They said my insurance only paid 27.99 a day. When I informed them my insurance paid up to $35 a day and they had seen the voucher from the insurance company which I’m sure they deal with on a regular basis I was then told they would take care of it. NOT. Still waiting for my $13.25. Be prepared to be cheated out of your hard earned money for some made up reason.

Unfortunately, not good. I called at 3:30 p.m. and was told I would be picked up in 30 to 45 minutes. At 5:15 p.m. when I called back, I was told that the reservation was misplaced. It still took another 25 minutes to pick me up from the location 12 minutes away. At the counter, I got to watch the manager constantly interrupt his employees, as he ignored the customers and asked them questions about a car someone might have double booked earlier in the day. He attempted to coach them out load, while ignoring the customers - only to determine he was correcting the wrong employees. Most of this was done from across the room and he made sure that he spoke very loud so that the employees couldnt fail to hear him - but then again, neither could the customers. They did rent me a nice vehicle for a very nice price. A day later when I called to make sure the rental had been switched over into the insurance companys name for payment, I was told they would call me back after verification. I offered to give them my phone number, but was assured they had it and would still find me in the system. I never received a call back. When I went to return the vehicle in Indianapolis, they didnt seem to care where I returned it. It was all a little confusing and disorganized. The dealership in Indy that houses the Enterprise location, has Enterprise labeled on a door outside the entrance to an auto dealer repair shop. No other signs indicate where it is. If you go with Enterprise, be prepared to roll the dice.

They tried to charge me $456 for a rental for 2 days. I was told I could pay for it with my debit card, but when I arrived, I was told I could only pay with a credit card. I was able to get the original payment of $256 per the website, with the drop off fee included. I was told since I was driving out of state, I would be charged a refundable fee of $200. I was very polite and told them that I wish they wouldve informed me of all charges earlier! All locations should have the same rules, in order for customers to avoid this kind of issue! They were very polite, but they didnt get the whammy on me!

Horrible! Went to pick up my car at 10 am after reserving two months in advance. I sat their a hour while the car was cleaned which was highly annoying while I watched people walk in and out. When I finally got in the car smelled like a wet dog. I didnt even make it 5 miles before I started itching and having trouble breathing. There was what looked like throw up on the front passenger floor board. The back seat was full of stains and the doors were full of claw marks. I immediately took the car back since I rented for a week and didnt want to smell wet dog and had no clue what was on the floor or back seat and I have 2 small children. I took my second shower of the day and did a breathing treatment. It made for a great start to my day. I told them to call me when they had a car ready. 2 hours later they called saying they had a car. It was 1 pm by then I should have been half way to my destination and reservations by then. They claimed they would take half the price off the rental for all my trouble which they never did. Never again! It cost me a nice day of my vacation, breathing problems, and we had to pay for a dinner we never made it to thanks to their lack of organization. Worst rental experience of my whole life and Ive used a lot of rentals.

Its been a few years since I posted my original review. The rating hasnt changed. The reasons have. It is December of 2020. Most places are experiences record high cases of Covid.1) The rep giving me the car sits in the car with his mask below his nose. My assumptions are this is so he knows not to lick the windows and/or he is a mouth breather. Now I have to clean the car so my immune compromised wife can be a passenger.2) Why do I have to fill up every rental car I get when I leave the lot? They charge extra to fill it up for you when you return it. They charge you if its not returned to the same point. They charge you to return it at any level. Three different ways you can be charged and not once do they actually use that money for the gas. Id love to see how much money they steal, I mean misappropriate since its not used for the purposes its claimed to be for.----------------------------------------------------Original review below----------------------------------------------------Normally this is the way to go. This time makes me question if its worth it next time.Made reservations in advance. They didnt have the vehicle requested but didnt notify me until I arrived to pick it up. They graciously put me in a larger vehicle for free. This is not why I rented though. I have a large truck. I wanted a small car to drive cross country for better fuel efficiency.When doing the walk through the vehicle only had a quarter tank. Guess that means my first stop is to get gas. Wait dont they charge extra if you dont fill it back up. I guess they just pocket that money instead of actually filling the car up.Get home and packed without incident. The next morning an hour into the trip and the crash sensor starts flashing every few seconds. On the interstate at 70 MPH with no one around and the sensor keeps flashing. Thankfully an hour later and it stops.Sporadically during the trip the radio would turn on. Just so the audience knows, it comes on at a volume level based on your speed. So at interstate speeds this is rather loud. Nothing like making sure youre awake while Im the middle of a pleasant conversation.Oh yeah, theres more. Throughout the trip the backlight on the dash would randomly change brightness. Luckily I was only driving during the day so it was more of a nuisance than had I been driving at night.A bit if research yields just how many recalls and issues there are with the Nissan Rogue. Very glad I wasnt in an accident to figure out if at least the passenger seat recalls were addressed.TLDR; do a quick but of research on the model they give you. They dont.

I rented my car up in Michigan where I live but am down here for business for a few months. I received a warning from my car that it needed an oil change and tire pressure check so I called this location to see if there was anything they could do to help. They kindly offered to drive me back to work and take my car to get it fixed even though it wasnt their liability. The girl who helped me, Whitney, was extremely kind and generous and showed above average customer service to me. She was interested, helpful, and thoughtful in every way and I highly recommend her service. I will make sure whenever Im down here on business again to call this branch for help! I had to rent a car for about two weeks, that all worked out smoothly. However when I returned the car I realized that I had left my $200 portable speaker in the glove compartment. I immediately called enterprise and asked them to please find the speaker and hold onto onto for me, the associate I spoke to claimed that the car had already been cleaned out and another customer already had it. When I asked if the cleaning team had found anything in the car she said that they didn’t. I am 100% sure that my speaker was in the car, no doubts about it, I am sure that the cleaning team is trained to open up and clear out all compartments of the car so I know that somebody had to have found my speaker. This situation ruined the positive experience I had originally had with enterprise. Very disappointed.

Even with it being a busy day at the office (fall break) I received fairly quick service and the vehicle was ready and clean. The staff was very nice and efficient. I have rented here before and normally have a good experience.

Stay away from this place! They seriously are crooks! I dropped a vehicle off, it was inspected, and I was given my receipt. They, shuttled me to my destination, in the same vehicle I had just checked in. Later on that evening they called me to ask about the damage to the vehicle. Damage????When I dropped the vehicle off, it was inspected, and in good condition. They tried to blame the damage on me, and file a false insurance claim. No way!!! Rent from anywhere else, just not this Enterprise office.

We had a problem with our rental not being clean on the inside, they took ownership of it. They cleaned the vehicle again, and gave us a discount for making us wait a few hours longer. Good customer service.

Good people, fast service and decent cars available. They had many options, from compact, full size, eco friendly, trucks, suvs, vans, no matter your family size, they got ya.i think it took literally 15 minutes from the time i walked in til the time i drove off the lot in a rental. Returning the car was even faster. Cars were clean and well kept. Id definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
