Catherine and her staff always go above and beyond. I have had four barbers in my lifetime, two of which have retired. Catherine is hands down the best barber I’ve ever been too. The atmosphere in the shop is very relaxing. I enjoy the appointment scheduling so you don’t sit and wait for hours. Grab a beer sit back, relax snd enjoy your fresh fade💪🏼🔥

Great new place for a cut. Schedule your visit in advance from the website and get spectacular treatment. Show up early, no problem. Grab a beer while you wait. Thirsty while getting a cut, no problem. Tell em to pause and grab that beer!

Walked in as a lost puppy after my barber of 23 years retired. Catherine was super pleasant and did a great job despite my lack of ability to specify what I wanted. I chose Beards and Beers because I can reserve my appointment time and choose my barber. Highly recommended for those who want a great cut, like to plan ahead, and avoid long waits.

Don’t bother making an appointment, 10 minutes after the time I’m still waiting and about to walk out. Had limited time during lunch and unfortunately this place failed miserably. Updated - I did arrive at 11:53 for my 12:00 appointment and waited until 12:11 to leave after waiting without being given an update. The barber did call and apologize and offer to reschedule with a discount but it still doesn’t change the fact that I didn’t receive service at my appointment time during my limited lunchtime and I don’t have time for another week and a half to get back in there and wanted a beard trim today for a Saturday ceremony. Wish it had been different, I believe they do great work. Maybe next time.

I have 3 young boys who get their haircut every 2 weeks. Catherine handles them very well and does not make me feel as if they are an inconvenience when we are in there. She talks to them and shares stories about their days. She also takes great pride in her work and loves what she does, and we are always happy.. I wouldn’t recommend any other barber in etown.

This place is A+ Catherine is awesome and a master of her craft. There are 2 locations much closer to me in Louisville but I drive to etown specifically because of her skill.

Wow! First of all I was a little skeptical of the whole beers and beards thing. Just kinda sounds weird and was a little worried about getting a hair in my beer. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the shop was. I dont normally like craft beer but Charles was real helpful and matched what i normally drink (coors light) to the craft beer Hudy Delight and it was delicious! The prices are high BUT they are totally worth it. Charles took his time with my beard, gave me tips on how to keep it healthier and most importantly didnt try to shove products in my face for me to buy. (i did purchase a conditioner and oil though). The whole experience was pretty awesome. I would definitely recommend! I will be back for sure!

Fantastic experience. Took our one and a half year old son in for his first haircut. They were extremely accommodating and kid friendly. Obviously a toddler wont sit still for very long but they managed to get the cut done quickly (even a super straight hard part!)We will definitely be returning to get both of our hair cut.

I’ve only gotten my haircut by Catherine, and she does excellent. She makes sure that my fade is crisp and blended extremely well. You also can’t beat the feeling of a hot towel shave. If you want a barber that pays close attention to detail and you want to feel confident that you have the best haircut you could possibly get. Visit Beards and Beers!! You won’t be disappointed. The other barbers there do great work also! Not to mention, it’s super cool inside. Can’t go wrong.
