Dr. Sim is a rare gem!!! Her and her staff are the best of the best!!! 5 stars are not enough to rate this practice! As a person that suffers from extreme anxiety and depression, and being to countless psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers etc…that weren’t able to help me in any way, I 100% recommended Dr. Sim!! I came to a point in my life where I was ready to give up on therapy. I honestly believed that I would have to live the rest of my life with this haunting mental illness. Then one day out of extreme desperation, I decided to research even more than ever and I came across Dr. Sim. Let me tell you… Dr. Sim and her professional and caring staff saved my life!! I still have my ups and downs but I must say that my life, my depression and anxiety are so close to normal now. I would’ve never expected!!

So disappointed with this place. A place to go to for extremely vulnerable things but don’t care about your time or money. I was charged countless times for an appointment my psychiatrist never showed up to. It wasn’t her fault it was the practices fault they told me someone forgot to tell me my appointment was canceled. Yet I was charged for the appointment. Then told I would credited then charged for my next THREE APPOINTMENTS. no respect for time or money. I have reached out countless times. The billing department lied to me, the manager never answered my calls and they just are not helpful. I don’t think they’ll ever give me my money back and it makes me so absolutely upset.

HORRID. They hounded me while I was out at my anniversary dinner with my husband and told me I had to fill pit the paperwork right at that moment or else my appointment would be canceled. This is incredibly difficult for someone already struggling with mental health issues. The entire process was incredibly convoluted and the paperwork was difficult to find. The psychiatrist herself had zero expression and zero warmth. She was fifteen minutes late, and she conducted the session from her bed and dismissed my concerns and questions. Judging by the other reviews in addition to my own experience, this is a practice you should STAY AWAY from.

I was diagnosed and prescribed meds in 10 minutes. I just wanted someone to talk to... not medication...did not connect with nurse practitioner on any level.

The best psychiatric practice i have worked with so far. Attentive doctor, very friendly, LGBTQ inclusive and overall I am happy with my treatment. They actually care about your wellbeing. I highly recommend Dr. Sim, Dr. Ginger and Dr. Thompson. Honestly, they are all wonderful.

Be careful with this place. Make sure to take screen shots when waiting for your visit. If they dont show up they will charge you $150 and say you were the one that didnt show. The manager Stacy has not been helpful, even after several emails and phone calls. I had to report fraud to my bank and reported them to the proper authorities. Please beware and be safe.

At first, I was okay with Conscienta when I started back in March. My doctor seemed to listen well, and seemed to be trying to help.That said...Recently, my experience with Conscienta has been extremely poor, at least regarding the doctors. Id been seeing Dr. Thompson. In July, one of my appointments with her was rescheduled at the very last minute - literally the day BEFORE the appointment shed scheduled with me - because she was on vacation.Recently, I wasnt even given the courtesy of a call to reschedule. Back in August, wed agreed to meet up again in September for my next appointment. Dr. Thompson said she would send my pharmacy a prescription for a 90-day supply of my medication since shed be out for 5 weeks; not only was my supply the usual non-refillable, 30-day supply, I couldnt reach Dr. Thompson when trying to contact her about this. And recently, when Id had a September 20 appointment booked with her, I never received any Upcoming Appointment notifications as I usually did (and you tend to receive PLENTY of those, so they would be very tough to miss). I call and find out my appointment just fell off instead of being rescheduled like last time.I was able to get rescheduled on short notice for an appointment with Dr. Praveen, however... and frankly, I wonder if I should have bothered. Dr. Praveen seemed very disinterested and mentally checked out, and I didnt get the sense that she was really listening to me or what I had to say. She just wrote up a short-term prescription, told me to Feel better, and... honestly, I can forgive a slip-up once, or twice if spaced out. But so many so close together is just indicative of a lackadaisical attitude towards the patients, as far as I can see. The office workers are friendly and helpful enough when I call in, but I feel like the actual doctors working at Conscienta, in my experience with them... are lacking in professionalism, from the recent behavior Ive encountered. Its disappointing, since the reviews Id seen elsewhere were so glowing. I believe, unfortunately, that its best that I seek treatment elsewhere, since the events of the past few months have instilled a distrust for these doctors and a lack of faith in their professionalism.

Very misleading. I contacted Conscientia for my 12 year old in April. Was happy to get them on a prescription medication but wasn’t told for several weeks that we were on a waitlist for therapist. It’s almost August and we are still waiting for a therapist. Receptionists are not terribly informative or helpful. Nothing is as advertised on their site.

Conscientia are exceedingly professional. They respond to emails quickly and are accommodating to your needs. They offer virtual sessions, which has been helpful with my schedule. Sandhya is sensitive and kind. I appreciate the open and consistent communication. I would recommend Conscientia to anyone.

Pros: I felt extremely comfortable speaking to Ms Thompson. I look forward to having my first session.Cons: l was called several times in regards to co payments and having a payment method on file when my insurance covers therapy 100% with no co payment. The billing department needs to do their homework immediately after theyve received the required medical information from the initial medical application.

Please stop dead naming me and develop a more trans-inclusive filing system. It’s really unprofessional as you’re supposed to be helping my mental health not harming it...

The doctor I have is so knowledgeable and goes in depth. I have been feeling much better since I started coming here. The only downside is that their billing office seems to be slacking in regards to communication.

These people are crooks. Failed to let me know of the hundreds of dollars I would have to pay through my deductible. Nurse practitioner immediately prescribed me something AGAIN so I can spend more money, after I spoke to her for 20 minutes. Office is a sham. Stacey who phoned me about my billing, has yet to find a solution so I am NOT paying for something her mindless office messed up on. Stay away. This place is more stress for your mental health.

While at the beginning of my treatment I enjoyed the service provided at ConscientiaMD, that relationship slowly deteriorated.I had an appointment scheduled for 3:00pm on a Thursday. I was called at 11:00am that day saying that they no longer accept my insurance and if I didn’t cancel before 1:00pm, I would be charged the full $175. They gave me 4 hour notice that I could no longer see my doctor.I called 3 times and left voicemails saying that I would like to cancel my appointment. I sent emails saying I would like to cancel my appointment. No one responded.I noticed that they had already charged the $40 copay to my credit card.Finally, at 12:45, the receptionist answered my call and said she had made a mistake and they are still accepting my insurance until the end of the month. There must have been a week left in the month, so thanks for the heads up, I guess?In a disappointing turn of events, I still scheduled an appointment with my doctor before the end of the month. I entered the virtual waiting room. She never came. I called her. She never called me back. Really upsetting because I enjoyed her as my psychiatrist, but she ghosted a medicated patient.Finally, I have emailed them twice to refund my $40 copay for an appointment I never had and they have said on both occasions that they will let their billing department know. I have yet to receive a refund.What a headache for what I thought would be a good relationship.

I had an informative & welcoming first appointment! The apps and accounts have been easy to create and manage.

Booked an appointment for a Friday morning at 11a. It was bumped to after 5p and then cancelled and rescheduled to Monday at 5p all within the span of a few hours. Imagine breaking your arm, going to the emergency room and they say Come back tomorrow at 11. No wait, 5. Actually, can you come by Monday night?Go anywhere else. Its clear that these people dont give AF for your mental health, only their vacation plans.

Scheduling appointments online is very straightforward and convenient. They send many reminders of your appointments to you so it’s easy to remember—which is good if you’re like me and forget these things. The appointments are video chat, and you get enough time to discuss medications, effects, and quality of life based on these.I see Dr. Ginger Simor, who is excellent! She has a very calm and soothing demeanor, and has great advice. She does not force unnecessary medications on you, and takes the time to create a well thought out, intelligent course of action. I’d say my life has improved since meeting with her and taking my medicine, and I’m very thankful for her help. thank you Dr Simor!

The psychiatrists are great and are very welcoming. However, the billing department works very poorly. If they owe you money, itll take weeks to even get a response. My insurance covers most of the cost, and I was charged for things that I didnt have to pay for. Ive been trying to contact billing for 3 weeks for my refund, and no one has gotten back to me. The additional stress from financials has definitely not helped my condition.

By far the worst psychiatry practice I have encountered! I started with this practice on 2/13/21 in hopes of gaining clarity and assistance with personal issues I have been battling with.I was told by NP Grace Taylor, that I was making myself sicker than what I really am, to make a long story short I will be taking my journey to recovery elsewhere and dont encourage those that are truly seeking help to utilize this practice what so ever!Unprofessional and untimely in their responsiveness to patients. The very same patients that clearly need to be attended to within an acceptable timeframe!

Dr. Praveen listened to my concerns and was incredibly patient. I would absolutely recommend her from my experience so far.

Giving 5 star because Sandhya Praveen is an amazing provider. She was compassionate and listened. Did not have a great experience up to my appointment with her. I initially had an appointment with a different provider and the provider never showed up despite me calling multiple times and being told they would be on shortly. The office called later that day that the provider was sick. I had already been charged for visit but they told me they would credit it to my next appointment. Would recommend provider to family and friends.

Avoid at all costs. The billing department is a NIGHTMARE. They overcharged me for 10 appointments (about $800!!!) and after confronting them about it and providing document after document, they have still not fully refunded me after FOUR MONTHS. This is honestly criminal behavior and clearly fraud. It seems like they just keep delaying until you get tired of calling them. I cant count the number of phone calls and emails Ive sent about this. Totally ridiculous, especially considering the patients who visit this office may be in emotional distress. How can you take advantage of patients like that? They truly do not care, find yourself another provider.Reply to comment below: they charged me for a no show fee even though I missed an appointment because I was in the hospital AND I sent them proof (do you not believe me?). My insurance confirmed I shouldve received a refund weeks ago. They refunded me $600/$800 they owed me after FOUR months of arguing back and forth.

I have had a so far great experience with this doctor. In my past I’ve had not so great doctors that were no where near as attentive as she is. She is patient and doesn’t rush appointments; she clearly shows her concern for her patients well being and healthy mind state. I am very appreciative that I was able to find such a wonderful Psychiatrist.

As many other reviews have said, Im sure the providers at this practice are great, but the office administration is abhorrent. I attempted to schedule an appointment several different times before giving up because they kept getting cancelled or rescheduled -- either they didnt approve my insurance in time or the doctor/NP wasnt available (even though I scheduled the appointment online?).The fourth appointment attempt was the last straw for me -- after they notified me LESS THAN AN HOUR before my appointment that it was rescheduled to a different time, and subsequently charged me $150(!) for a no-show fee, I booked another appointment later that week only to have the NP never show up. The office never responded to my emails or calls/messages and still hasnt.I dont really post reviews or act like a Karen whenever Im minorly inconvenienced, but this experience was horrific. Unless youre a current patient or are willing to jump through a million different hoops to maybe get an appointment, I do not recommend wasting your time here.

I had a bad experience with a different provider before contacting ConscientaMD and with first visit, I am hopeful.

My experience in telemedicine with Conscientia was great! I had recently switched jobs and they were able to see me within 2 weeks though an online session. Dr. Thompson was kind and courteous though our session and was able to assist me promptly. I would highly recommend ConscientiaMD to anyone who needs psychiatric help remotely!

I can’t recommend this practice enough, especially Dr. Thompson. I was nervous about our first meeting because I had a really negative experience with my last psychiatrist, but I feel like we immediately clicked during our first meeting and was instantly comfortable. She’s so engaging, kind, and a wonderful listener (and laughs at my cheesy jokes!). She respects me, validates my feelings and concerns, and makes me feel like my voice is actually being heard and understood. It’s really refreshing to have met someone I can trust right off the bat.

Dr. Sim and Deborah Hampton are great (which is why I’ve given ConscientiaMD two stars instead of one); however, the overarching practice’s unresponsiveness and billing practices are at BEST unethical. They automatically charge your card, and then don’t respond to emails/calls regarding disputes. Pay close attention to your charges, or risk being majorly overcharged.Edit: In recognition that I was overcharged, and that their billing practice was not in accordance with my insurance plan, the billing department is refunding me. (Also, Id like to point out the irony of only hearing back from them the day after I posted this review...)Second Edit: Dont post a negative review because they will drop you as a patient!!

Everytime you miss an appointment they charge you $115. Absolutely ridiculous, would never recommend them to anyone.

Just had my first appointment and loved how great and easy it was to set everything up. Really appreciate their clear communication and patience with me.Edit: Have now been a patient for a few months and still have such a great experience with the care and attention given. Would highly recommend if this is an option for anyone.

They have issues with the televisit software every visit - you will still be charged in full even if your appointment only lasts 7 minutes due to their own technical issues. Dr. Simor also often hung up the visit to take other calls during the appointment. I felt consistently disrespected so if youre looking for a sensitive psychiatry experience this may not be the place.

Dr. Lisa is incredibly kind, Compassionate, extremely responsive and is the definition of patient oriented care! She is an amazing professional. She really understands how to treat people in sensitive conditions.And the office makes everything so easy

I’m torn with this review. It’s a 2/3, as the NP came on my telemedicine appt 8 mins late and was rushed. She apologized stating that her previous patient was “in need.” Still ended my appt on time and rather abruptly. I liked her but clearly her caseload is too high. Curious what the next appt will bring.

Company doesn’t care about patients only their bottom line. Compared withdrawals from titrated medication an “understandable inconvenience” after missing appointments and not returning calls or mail for weeks. Do yourself a favor, find a firm that wants to help you not themselves.

The staff is extremely helpful, and I found that my provider Dr. Simbiat O. Was extremely attentive, supportive and positive and was always working to find the best solution for me based on my discussion. She is very encouraging and a very good listener, and I hope in the future if I ever had to switch providers they can live up to her standards.

Scheduling an appointment was really simple. They send out a few reminders which are really helpful. My two appointments with Christine Lisa have been wonderful. She takes the time to answer your questions and really listens. Would highly recommend this practice.

I was very pleased with my Intake visit with Dr. Sim. She was attentive to my responses and has a plan of action for me. She was compassionate and asked the right questions. I was unsure about a Virtual visit but it worked out perfectly.Just finished another session with Dr. Sim. She has been extraordinary with all of my visits. Her note taking leads to relevant follow up questioning. She is truly a caring professional that looks out for my social, emotional and physical needs. I highly recommend Dr. Sim . I’ve been seeing Dr Ginger Simor for over 6 months now and she has been so helpful with my anxiety medications. I’ve seen many psychiatrists in the past and I can confidently say Dr Simor is the best. She is willing to listen to your concerns, always suggests helpful advice, and I can tell she truly wants her patients to feel better and be happy. Having anxiety is tough but I am so grateful that I have Dr Simor to guide me to right direction.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERSThese people harassed me with 7 phone calls and rescheduled me twice within one day. Their website is full of false claims with multiple providers with several appointments available day of- promises an appointment within a week- and has BOOK TODAY written all over their psychology today profiles. I booked an appointment immediately got a call asking for my credit card and saying i had to be rescheduled with a person not even on the website. I insisted on being seen by someone whose credentials I could review. I got no less than SEVEN calls about filling out my paperwork FOUR within business hours and I explained I would fill them out at night. One at 8 am asking for another copy of my insurance card and then ANOTHER call at 9 am CANCELLING on me AGAIN. Then trying to reschedule me with the same person NOT on their website and btw OUTSIDE of the seven days promised on the site.

I’ve been working with Christine Lisa for two weeks and she’s been so helpful to me. I love the reminder I get prior to our meetings and it’s convenient because I video chat our appointments from my home. So far I’m having a great experience with the company

DO NOT GO HERE. I SUSPECT THIS PRACTICE TO BE A SCAM.This practice is unreliable, sketchy, and I question Dr. Sims ethics as a doctor.Please heed all of the positive reviews. I saw them and felt comfortable paying the practice and meeting with Dr. Sim.Scheduling an appointment online was easy. My first appointment had to be rescheduled and pushed back a few weeks. That was fine, whatever. I was a few minutes late to my first appointment, because the webpage was loading. I was contacted by the practice during those few minutes, and Dr. Sim immediately began questioning why I was late once the videochat loaded.After my first appointment with her -- scheduling was worse. It was virtually impossible to get in contact with the offices. I received some voicemails that were only a few seconds long with no message. The others were very fast, almost inaudible and were from ConscientaMDAt the second and last session that I had with Dr. Sim, I questioned her about the difficulty I had scheduling our meeting. On the day of our scheduled meeting, I was charged BEFORE we had our meeting and BEFORE I received a call stating she wouldnt be able to make my appointment. We were scheduled for 7pm. I received a call earlier in the day, saying there was a mistake and my appointment had to be rescheduled. I questioned them as to why/why I was charged and then she stated that I could meet at 4:20. I said okay that was fine. I THEN received a voicemail saying that a mistake was made, and that she was actually unavailable at 4:20. THEN I received a text regarding our 7:00 meeting.Unfortunately, Dr. Sims behavior and demeanor our last session made me lose trust in this practice. When I asked her about my scheduling struggles,She didnt give a clear answer, mumbled, said that they hired a new girl who didnt know what she was doing, and changed the subject. She was smirking while I was questioning her and kept changing the subject.At the end of our meeting, Dr. Sim adamantly tried to book multiple sessions ahead. Dr. Sim LIED to me. She stated that, in order for her to prescribe me my ADHD medication (stimulant) that I must see her biweekly if I want her to prescribe it to me. She stated that it wasnt her, and that it was the rules. She made it clear that if I want her to prescribe me the meds I HAD to meet with her regularly.However, I have been a psychiatric patient for years now -- I knew this was not true.When I asked her what number I should call to schedule, since the other numbers were unable to be adequately be reached,She quickly said I have to go now look online the numbers are online. Bye! and ended our call.I cancelled our next scheduled appointment online. When I did this, I received a verification that my appointment was cancelled however the appointment that was cancelled was on a Sunday afternoon. I had to email the practice to get the correct appointment cancelled.With this,I suspect the practice is not credible, safe, or worth your time, health, and money.

I love meeting with my practician, the only thing I dont like is the billing department and who works in the office. They seem like they are not in the same page and never call when they are supposed to and nearly overcharged me due to an insurance dispute. Worst psychiatric experience Ive ever had. Constantly rescheduled my appointments without approval. The last straw was being cancelled on on the day of my desperately needed appointment for a reason unexplained to me. Was super difficult to get an appointment as a new patient, and they pushed back my first appointment by two weeks (twice) without consulting me.

I started visiting Dr. Sim last year! It has been really helpful and fulfilling to find someone who understands things that I go through. It has been great so far to be able to confide in her. Excellent service and a great practice. I recommend everyone to partake in this practice

So far Ive been seeing Dr. Simbiat for around 2 years. Ive been struggling with anxiety and panic attacks for many years and thanks to her Im receiving the help I need. She is a very good listener and truly cares for her patients. So far Im very happy and my anxiety is getting better, there is months where I don’t experience anxiety at all. I am at point where it is tolerable and I can continue with my life with no problems.

Everyone knows that searching for a provider can be extremely difficult. This is why after reading so many positive reviews, I was excited to be seen by Dr. Sim. Initially, I was excited by her direct nature and how knowledgeable she seemed.She prescribed me medication, one of which requires documents to be forwarded to my pharmacy by her office and another that I had a poor reaction to. I called her office and spoke with her front desk at least 3x a week for the last three weeks regarding the paperwork and the fact that that I have been experiencing nausea and regurgitating as a result of taking this new medication. I AM YET TO HEAR BACK FROM DR. SIM.During this time I confirmed with her front desk staff (one young girl) that Dr. Sim was receiving my messages regarding both concerns. The young lady assured me that Dr. Sim received my messages and would call me back soon. It has been about 3 weeks and I am yet to hear back with any progress despite the fact that it was confirmed that they have received the necessary documentation and that Dr. Sim was aware that my situation required her attention.This brings me to my next issue with ConscientiaMD. Dr. Sims’ front desk staff representative is inexperienced and lacks follow through and that’s putting it mildly. She would leave voicemails on my phone and then fail to remember why she called when I returned her call. The fact that I have been regurgitating for the last few weeks and experiencing nausea with no follow up or concern from this office is not only dangerous, but sad. Dr. Sims voicemail is full and she doesn’t respond to messages left in the patient portal.Thus restarts the irritating circle of me having to continuously deal with her poorly trained front desk staff member (again, one girl) and express YET AGAIN how important it is that I speak with Dr. Sim. I finally just decided to stop taking the medication. I usually never leave negative reviews but this experience was horrible!

ConscientiaMD is amazing. Staff is really friendly, helpful and communicative. My emails are responded to on time. Addy and Chania (i believe their names are) are very helpful.I have been seeing a psychiatrist for more than 10 years and i can say this is one of the best experiences i have had so far. Dr. Sim is compassionate. She listens and talks to you. She hears your concerns and works with you not just hand you a prescription like most do and say goodbye. I look forward to my visits with her.The patient portal is also quite helpful i can reach her anytime even if it takes sometime to respond because i know they;re busy im confident she received my messages. Fraud! Forget being a psychiatrist, shes not even a physician! Her practice is titled ConscientiaMD and her biography says she has received an MD but I checked with the medical board of the state and this is a blatant lie. She has not received an MD from any institution whatsoever. She got a PhD in public health and is using that to legally call herself doctor. Ive reported her to the state medical board (for impersonating a physician) and the state nursing board (since shes a nurse by training). She is fraudulently claiming to be a psychiatrist and physician when she is neither. Go somewhere else.Edit: No, not a ghost review, and I have indeed reported you to the medical and nursing boards. Your website clearly states that Dr Sim has an MD and PHD in public health. She does not have an MD, that is a lie.

Took me time to find a new doctor, it’s no fun talking about your problems but I feel comfortable right off the bat, dove straight into what meds and what changes might be needed and trying them to get my life back on track. I’m glad I found this practice

Dr. Sim has been an amazing and patient physiatrist. I have not been an easy patient. She has helped me with medications and with different breathing techniques. She is always available and is very trustworthy. Whenever I need to make a quick appointment she is always there to see me. I would recommend her to anyone. I have seen my fair share of bad physiatrists. Thankfully I finally found a good one.

In this place, nobody speaks Spanish! So they do not give the service to Spanish speakers...that is a shame!!

Dr. Simbiat is nothing short of amazing. Ive seen many psychiatric providers, MDs, NPs, PAs you name them all in the past and this was probably my best experience yet. I felt heard. All my questions were answered. She breaks things down in a way that I can understand and doesnt just leave me to webmd or google. Another thing that stuck out to me during our session is her vast knowledge and experience in her field. You can tell she is highly knowledgeable and i am so grateful i found her. Thank you again for listening to me and helping me get the help ive needed for years. I Highly recommend Dr. Simbiat. 5 stars.

As someone who recently moved to New York from the West, I found Dr. Sim to be abrasive and inauthentic. She practices cookie-cutter medicine and is inflexible with patients that reside outside of what she considers to be the norm - regardless of medical history and documentation. Fine overall, but her telemedicine-first approach only works so well. After a month Ive found a provider elsewhere.Maybe because I fall into a demographic that she deems as risky, my treatment experience differed from other patients. Regardless, judgement based on my profession and her lack of ability to establish a trusting relationship was detrimental to my experience. Probably a great doctor if you dont work on Wall Street and dont require ADHD treatment.
