I gave them 2 stars because I didnt personally use this company, but I was supposed to leave a car with them . When I get there theyre telling me that they wont receive cars because theres construction on the street in front. When I found a place to deliver then I was told that they dont have space even though there was an agreement made previously. I would not want again to deal with them.

RED ALERT! RED ALERT!! RED ALERT!!!PLEASE DO NOT SHIP WITH Sgf freight services.I delivered my car to SGF in the first week of May 2020 to be shipped to Lagos, I was assisted by a mild mannered staff member ( Daniel) who presented me with two shipping line options but advised to use the more expensive line (Grimaldi) on the ground that they are very reliable in terms of schedule and safety of shipments. I eventually opted for Grimaldi which according to the aforementioned staff, will berth in Lagos on or before 10th of June. I made a 100% payment and left the office with hopes of receiving my draft/bill of lading by latest 21st of May.First, the staff member (Daniel) never for once reached out to me not until I called the office on the 23rd only to be told that my car was still seating at the port with no sense of responsibility or remorse as to the delay of which I paid more due to time sensitive. At the end of the conversation, I was again told that the vessel will sail June 1st. The vessel eventually sailed on June 2nd arrived Lagos about June 17th while I was yet to be emailed the Print out at Destination/ bill lading.Again, I had to make another trip to their office on the 22nd of June ( 5 days after the ship had docked in Lagos) to request for the Print out Email to enable my clearing agent in Lagos start the process of clearing my car. The same lousy staff ( Daniel) eventually forwarded the email to me while I was seating across from him.Next I did was to demand for my original title to my car haven been informed already that US Customs had cleared my car as at 3rd week of May, I was at this point served Surprise and with the greatest amount of unprofessionalism, for 30+ minutes, this bunch of unprofessionals were busy doing nothing while claiming to be searching for my title and at the end was ask to go home while they take time to look for my title. I obliged and left only to be called on the phone on my way home about 10miles away to be informed that they found my car title, I made the next turn and went back to the office to pick it up graciously. If the problem was only limited to the aforesaid, I wouldn’t have written this review but it is for what happened hereafter.My car was finally released to my agent in Lagos on 27th of June brutally damaged at the back end to the extent of iron frame that holds the back bumper breaking off from the car frame, trunk smashed and tail lights broken. As if they hadn’t done enough damage, the leather interior of my car was slashed with sharp objects.For the 3rd time, I went back to their office on 29th of June to report the damage to my car, upon entering the lobby of the office, I was greeted with the GM ( Steve Wangboje) whom I narrated my ordeal to and the best he could do was to be indifferent and asked that another member of staff ( Felix) who is so ill mannered and unprofessional take my complaint.This bunch of fraudsters masquerading as shipping agents never even bothered to investigate let alone making my car whole.In other not to regret using their services like I do today, I advise everyone to not patronize SGF Freight Services.

Warning! ! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO SHIP YOUR GOODS. Please do not make the same mistakes I made. They are terrible and incompetent. I made the mistake of using them twice. The first time I used them, 2 years ago to ship my mothers funiture. They ended up losing one of my mothers couch, we never found it till today. I dont know what I was thinking but I actually used them again this year to ship 2 cars to Africa. Both cars were damaged by this people. Both hoods were crushed in, the fenders were damaged and the side mirrors were broken off. Initially they told me it was their fault, it had happen while they were loading the vehicles into the container and that they will be fixing both cars. Now they are saying that they are only going to be fixing one of the cars. The other was damaged while in the container. This people are totally incompetent and have no customer service what so ever. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and my lawyer will be filling a lawsuit against them next week.*This company is so Bad, I don’t know how anyone could give them a 5 star rating. Terrible service they dont even deserve one star. If only I could give them zero star I would.
