Very nice place to deliver, appointment at 7am...Got there at 6am... unloaded and paperwork before 7am!

Got hired and passed a drug screen & background check. Interviewed for an overnight job. Was asked why do you want the job and I said because its overnight (6pm-6AM). After a month without a response, a cleared background check and drug screen, I finally got a text asking if I can start the following wednesday at 9AM. 9AM? WE HAD NEVER DISCUSSED THE 9AM SHIFT NOT ONCE I DONT KNOW HOW YOU GOT THE IMPRESSION I INTERVIEWED FOR A DAY SHIFT. Not worth the stress, dont even bother applying. I had already gotten a different job, and was appalled at how inconsiderate the company was. Terrible service, screw this place.

Took a Lil longer than a driver likes to sit. No overnight parking. Lumper fees involved in every drop. Some parking at Raymour and Flanigan or Ikea. Not trucker friendly but if u have to u can getaway with overnight parking on the Ikea lot after 9pm and behind Raymour and Flanigan

Been delivering here for years. I love this facility down in Elizabeth New Jersey. no there is no parking overnight and there is very limited parking in the area. Be prepared to drive in in the morning. I generally have a 7:00 a.m. appointment and I always aim to be there by 5:30 and or 6:00 a.m.. My general time in dock is between 1 and 2 hours. Ive always found them to be very expedient but very short on communication. Their customer service can generally use a little work but they are good people and you will be taken care of in a timely fashion.

A little slow on unloading. Other than that not bad

This place is a dump.. no professionalism... Nobody cares... long waits to deliver loads ... this place is on my Blacklist I will not deliver here again.

Pretty easy process check in at the gate get parked on the right side. They call you around back when they get a door I was in and out pretty quick maybe 2 hours for two pallets. It is a little tight around back but very doable

Dirty, unprofessional, unorganized, just a terrible place. Add another to the list of places Ill never come to again. 4 hours past my delivery time and still not unloaded. I was 2 hours early and they never got a door open until 2 hours past my appointment. 5 hours and they still havent received the load. Apparently they dont want pictures of this area. If they are this bad at this part of the job, I would be very careful if you buy something from them. Its probably not kept at the proper temperature. Or protected from contamination that will get blamed on your store or restaurant.

My husband was employee ofThis company the New Jersey/hunts point Bronx location that allowed him to be verbally and physically abused by this company. When he sent and email to Human Resources and his manager he not only was made feel like he was the problem he asked for ONE day off to take me for a procedure that we where willing to supply a doctors note for he was then told by Richard Ortiz to take a month off and resolve his family issues. He was then told to resign and come back in a month and see if they had work!!!! All with in a week of reporting the abuse as a worker of this company.. now I have to find a layer to help us with this because no one will in the company will treat him with respect or discuss his owed pay! Please be careful this company treats there employees horrible!!!! DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE A DRIVER!!!! DO NOT TAKE THE HELPERS JOB !!!! Drivers are allowed to throw boxes at you or out of the bed of the truck! They are allowed to call you names and since they are the teamster union you the one that gets fired or abused by the company not the driver!!!!

This place is hell, I came here 10:00am and still here 5:00. Get dock took 1:30, unloading took 4 hours, 1:30 waiting paperwork and I hadnt get it yet.

If yo get paid by the hour, this is a perfect place for you. arrive 8:14 am, 9 am appointment. Got paperwork 4:40 pm. Had to cancel my 3 pm pick up. Some loads require lumper fee.

They expect drivers to drive through a tiny gap in the SE corner while others are pulled way up in the area needed for such a turn. Need to warn us or block those parking spots off so we can turn without issue. Almost damaged my mirror because of how tight I had to take the turn. Tight backing for the doors in back as well. Took five hours. $300 lumper feeEdit: returned six months later because my company hates me. Appointment was at 7am and Im still here at 2pm. Zero stars.

Here now for over 4hrs with a load of frozen French fries. Unloaded for almost 2hrs. Load is broken down, now just waiting for receiver to do his job. This why I hate food warehouses. It is not the drivers job to wait for them to break down the pallets. They just have to count each pallet, sign paperwork & let us go. Then people wonder why they need more trucks on the road. Its because of places like this. I would understand for perishables like meat, fruit, veggies. Fresh ones that is. But for frozen. It sucks. Especially with a $220 lumped fee.

This is the most unorganized place on the earth took them 5 hours to take off 5 pallet of my truck and they damaged half the goods and tried to blame the shipper thank God the shipper took pictures of there load

Not the worst place to go but it is tight and when u go around the building it like going threw an alley way with a trailer ...p.s please line your truck up before going threw or you will hit the rail.....

Produce inspectors are very professional and courteous. Kept me well informed how my load was doing as it was being unloaded by lumper service. Answered all my questions and concerns in a very professional manner. A pleasure to deliver there especially for produce drivers!

One word: amazing. We’ve been clients of this company for 5+ years now. We’ve had two sales reps (one retired) but they really prove their worth. There’s been plenty of occasions where they’ve gone above and beyond to not only represent their company, but to treat a customer right. As a company itself, I’ve had zero complaints. Only once did I receive a truck it wasn’t reaching temperature for the refrigerator, but they gave us another trailer that same day. Regardless of some challenges here and there, no complaints! Also the pricing is very competitive versus the wholesale clubs. Thanks for great service all of these years!

Been delivering here for a good 10 12 years can get congested at times not a bad place though although today that kind of pissed me off, mens bathroom that has two things of toilet paper each one of them empty, ask about somebody getting more toilet paper the guy goes and he gets me paper towels, they wont let us use the ladies bathroom. its really sad when we deliver there and they have all kinds of trucks coming in the morning and no toilet paper in the bathroom. I let the gentleman know that I was going to make a phone call and all his reply was well you do what you gotta do, I guess he forgets we are customers also

Swing wide to get to the docks, which are in the back of the building. Dock is tight as well... SLOW unloading. The lobby at the receiving window was filthy! Trash all over the floor.

One of the worth place to go, 7 am appt,, was mty by 10, now been waiting for my ppw for over an hour, still no ppw, and have to pay 280$ for lumper . Don’t they know that we have ELD now, can’t afford those stunts anymore

I have good experiences here I come here 10:30. My appointment was 12:00 they give me door by 12:00 and by 2:00 pm I had my pepper and empty not bad place to delivery no lamper even I fall sleep the security lady woke me up and they guy in front of receiving doors waiting when they finished he let you know

Here is my experience of Monday, July 13, 2020. I checked in at 6 AM for an 8 AM delivery appointment. There was only one truck ahead of me. We were the only ones there at 6 AM. He got a door a few minutes later and at 6:15 AM they put me in a door. I was given my bills at 9:15 AM.

If you are truck driver never take loads going to this place. Totally f** up. Got 7 pallets, missed my appointment, they made me wait 4 days, 4 DAYS!!!! Because someone dont have room in the cooler!!!Then I paid 300$ late fee, 75$ lamper fee. Dont even think to test your luck with them, you will always lose.

My name is ELVIN RODRIGUEZ,worked there for 9 months as a driver and also a yard switcher,I got ted my self laid off,I was not getting enough sleep, I just have a baby girl at home.Trust me drivers!is more better now than the way used to be back on 2005,we didint have that space in the back of the warehouse like now,so talking about space,is 100% much better.

I work here... very busy growing company.. On the top 5 in the nation In food delivery..I see they go out of the way to service customers and sometimes the burden falls on us drivers... hauling overtime getting home late. But the satisfaction comes pay day and on the smile of every chef we encounter!

Dont go there. First, they dont let you in before 6 am, second I waited a couple of hours in a dock with my reefer door open only to acknowledge that my load is rejected because my produce is warm. Learn some physics!!! With the open doors and outside temp of 90 degrees, the produce in a back of a trailer will be warmer. So, they rejected the whole trailer, then it took for them another two hours to get me back, and finally around 6 pm I left this place. 12 hours to get unloaded. I missed my next two appointments and didnt make it home for that night.

These guys took more than 6 hours to unload a half truck load. The guys at receiving very rude. Should give better services for the amount of money collected as lumper.

No Overnight Parking on property or surrounding street / Ikia store.1st time: Arrived 40 minutes before appointment, got a door right at appointment time. Didnt start unloading for another hour. Lumpar for 10 skids was $120 and overall delivery took 2 hours.2nd time: Arrived an hour early, didnt get a door until 10 minutes past appointment time. Full load of Pasta took 7.5 hours to unload and lumpar was $500.00

Narrow place to back in the loading doors lumper&Late fees like mafia pillager and if you have ELD either charge here double or you better not to pick up this place loads they will let you sit all day here you will wait all day to get unload this place very slow unloding after drop load here you will not have time to drive and pick up other load They have No parking for overnight city area no parking on street either !!!!!

PFG is your standard customer. Receiving opens at 0500. You can show up earlier for your appointment. Just make sure to check-in twice. Once with grave yard and second with first shift. Now, overnight parking. The building right behind PFG you can park overnight.Try to get there as early as possible around 1900 hrs. Why, drivers start to show up and you can come up short for overnight parking. Hope this helps! PFG workers please cheer up there is no need to be negative. Wise person once told me. If Im not happy with what Im doing. Then find something that can make you happy.

They will allow you on the property and check-in as early as 5am EST. There are almost always couple spots for parking next to the warehouse behind the PFG building. Unloading takes forever and lumpers are just enormous.P.S. Friday, April 27th (full truck load, frozen bread products):Appointment: 8amCheck-in: 5:07 am (2nd truck on the property)Received door: 8:37amCheck-out: 6:53pm (over 10 hours to unload)Lumper: $420

This is the last place that you want to go, they take forever to unloading and be careful if you missed your appointment is a fee of $300 and if you late $150 and you probably miss your next delivery or reload, good luck.

Actually not bad compared to how long it took to get loaded at the shipper. They unloaded almost 1,000 boxes (floor loaded) in less than 5 hours. Couldve been worse but personally dont like waiting more than 2 hrs to leave from shipper/receiver! Oh and $500 lumper!

Worst place to deliver unprofessional will not ever deliver there again waste of time. Took 10 hours to unload and than to get the paper work you have to wait even longer ridiculous the most unprofessional place to do delivery

Thankfully I get detention and I will invoke the right to deny new jersey loads from here on out. 08:00 appt. In the door at 08:30. Its 11 and Noone has touched the freight. My next deliveries will be to other crappie food service places. Late also because of pfg.

3 pallets, there nearly 5 hours trying to get them off. Plus the lumper charged $75 for those 3 pallets....never again will we deliver there.
