My husband took our two boys with him to get a haircut. When they got home and I looked at it it was choppy, uneven and gashed up once dried. I called and the lady on the phone was very rude and snarky. I was told I would have to wait over an hour to get their hair fixed because it wasn’t “fair to other customers”. It’s not fair that my kids have messed up hair. Apparently they don’t care about customers who have already paid. She didn’t even offer making an appointment so we didn’t have to sit at their establishment. The barber combed over the hair and made it look like it was a nice even haircut when it’s not. When I asked for a partial refund she told me no. Do not go to this place! They waited close to 2 hours for a haircut. They have unprofessional, rude and untrained employees. If I could give zero stars I would. Do not go to this place! What a waste of $40, $20 per child (ages 3&5). I like to support local businesses but this place has lost my husband and my business.

Took my boys to get a hair cut here. I was impressed on how quickly they got done. My boys love their hair. Will definitely be back. The only downside to this is there isn’t a kids price.

I have been going to super its for years, since the cheaper places arent really that good for service. Supercuts let me down, so I tried this place. Its AWESOME!!!! Never going anywhere else ever again! Everything was awesome there: the service, the quality, the atmosphere, AND they have several tvs to help keep you entertained while you wait!!! Super friendly staff too!

I took my son here today. I was really nervous, but they did suck a great job. The whole team was courteous. They sprayed sanitizer and wipe the chairs after each client. I will definitely be taking my son her from now on.

The lady gave my 6 year old son a fade and it wasn’t a fade. Idk what the hell she did? It was choppy and rushed and just terrible. I cut hair for 5 years and honestly I can do much better myself. But I like taking him to a professional business cause I would imagine they can do a better job then I could. Definitely not cool joes. I went here once before for myself and I actually swung into Supercuts after cause even they do a better job. I won’t be coming back ever again, I suggest y’all don’t go either. ✌🏼

Usually take my son here for simple haircut and never had issues before. Went today and asked to keep my sons length and a simple undercut halfway up the side of his head. He had a braid in the top of his hair when we went in the stylist did not even take it out to do his hair. Cut the undercut much higher than I asked for. My son was trying to grow out the length and now this stylist ruined it for him

My experience today was unfortunately a negative one. I’ve been coming to this location for close to a year and usually I’ve had great if not okay haircuts. Today’s haircut was the worst Ive had in years. Bottom line is that if you don’t know how to give a certain type of haircut please don’t just do your own thing, i.e. if I ask for a high fade please add the fade and don’t buzz my hair all the way to the crown of my head without one. Not sure why this person thought it was okay to do this without asking.Although, the people inside have always been very respectful and professional.

First time to this facility on Wednesday. Loved the sports theme of the place, prices are good. Guy Named Ozzy cut my hair, dude is an artist with clippers. Definitely gonna be a returning regular.

Niomie and Lillie’s are far the best ones there to cut hair! The whole staff is nice and welcoming. I’ve never seen them do a bad job or not take their time no matter if it’s one or twenty people waiting. They make you feel like a family member and always go above and beyond their service! Every time I get a haircut here, I have a great experience! Environment is friendly and very professional. They are very detailed and make sure you are satisfied with your haircut. The waiting area is kept clean and they have current sports or movies on TV while you wait.

It has been so hard to find a place in the NE that has no issues with cutting womens hair into a mans style. Back in VA, Sport Clips was always my go to, but the one here on near Haggerty has stylists who are hesitant. Another place did okay. This place is the first that actually gave me a high skin fade without blinking an eye, and did it well. I didnt have any issues with wait either time I went because I popped in mid-afternoon on a weekday to avoid it. Both times I was taken right back.

Theyre the best, theyre all really nice and the environment is really chill, all of the staff are very professional.

This place has potential since it has friendly staff, sports playing in the background and have premium like services, but the crucial part is getting a good looking hair cut and unfortunately thats the worst part about this place. Ive been here multiple times hoping Id get a good cut eventually but I always end up looking like a not so cool Joe. If youre looking to spend upwards of $15 for a cut that a self made barber at your local neighborhood can do for free, then by all means visit this place.

Currently in the waiting area on a monday at 1:30pm I walked in at 12:45pm. Time management is terrible here and just watched a guy walk out with a terrible fade... AFTER HAIRCUT: first of all 14$ for a haircut?? Way to over price. The type of hair cut that I I got ( medium fade with a little off the top and a hard part ) should cost 10$. Now Quality... if the girl that cut my hair was a surgeon I would be dead.. my hard part looks like I asked a 4 year old to do it. It was my first time here so I got a free shampoo. The price for that is 3$.. that’s overpriced too you’re basically paying for the product that they used just a tiny bit of. All in all I most likely won’t go back to this overpriced no time management place you deserve this 2 Star rating!

Very disappointed I was so excited when I read the reviews on this place But, unfortunarely, yesterday, I received the worst haircut I have had in years I stressed to her to please not cut my hair too short, especially in the back where I have cowlicks. She cut it short and my hair is sticking up in the back Looks awful. I gave her a great tip but I really couldnt see the back of my head. She wanted to put gel on gel. Now I understand why. I love that its walk in but that is double edged as sometimes there is a wait. The guy theme is done well with sports channels running all around the shop. I have been reasonably satisfied with my haircuts with an equally reasonable price.

As a 3 year customer This place has slowly decreased in the quality of service. The wait averages 30 minutes due to lack of barbers. Once the cut begins the barbers work for quantity of cuts due to wait list not quality of the cut they provide.

Ive been coming here for a couple of years now and Ive never experienced a problem. All of the girls do great work and they always offer awesome customer service. Now that the area is growing they have some competition but this is hands down the shop to go to for a great haircut, customer service and no wait times.

Ive been there twice and had two different ladies cut my hair .. A medium low fade seems to be impossible for them to accomplish. IMPOSSIBLE. Nice and courtesy staff but cant get a medium low fade right .. I dont think Im going back ever again.

Ive lived in El Paso for about 5 years & been to many barbers (unfortunately). Cool Joe Cuts has been my go-to place since 2014. I transitioned out of the Army & I needed a barber to do something different with my hair. I had only a slight idea of what I wanted. Thankfully, I found Naomi at Cool Joe Cuts. Her first attempt left me beyond satisfied. Not only that, but she continued to perfect it over time. Its gotten to the point where I now give her full reign to do whatever she thinks will look best. Ive never been disappointed & I regularly receive compliments about my hair. Ive built a dependence on her now. Hah! Whether youre in the military or civilian, this is the place to go to. Every fade Ive seen walk out has been flawless. These ladies are super talented & friendly. Money is well spent here. Plus, they have a rewards program! Best place for dudes, ever.

Came in on a Saturday, no seating, 50+ minute wait. I checked in and left my sons name and my phone number, asked them to call when it was his turn because there werent any seats. We decided to wait in the car. After about 45 minutes we decided to go in and see where his name was on the list... we were told that the manager had decided to skip us. He said that it wasnt fair to the people that were in there waiting. Kinda, I guess. The people that were ahead of us at least had seats to sit in while they waited. We would have been standing until some of the people ahead of us left. Kind of annoyed by the receptionist saying shed call and didnt even bother to.

Very friendly girls, completely focused on and geared towards a guy like environment with sports on TV all the time even while cutting your hair. But one of my favorite things is that they store your haircut info in a computer and always know what you want the next time you come.

It was nice to come here when nobody knew about it. But now everybody come here. Expect at least a 30 minute wait. The default is if you drive anywhere else youll experience the same wait time. They have over 6 barber chairs but those are for display only because they only have two stylists working and one receptionist. They do good work but the girls are slammed with customers. I come here on weekends and after 5 PM.

Awesome service with a great group of girls. Their growing clientele means that you may wait a little longer at times, but they are quick and precise.

My husband would get his haircut by one of the girls at this place with no problems. Ever since she no longer works there, its difficult find anyone there to do a good job. The last straw was yesterday when my husband came home with a choppy fade. I dont think the girl knows how to cut mens hair and thats their bread and butter. Very frustrating since they are just around the corner. Definitely looking for a new place!

Ive gone here for the last 2-3 years (several dozen times) and always had a positive experience. They record the type of haircut I prefer, so no matter who I see, the final result only has slight variations. Ive only had one haircut that I wasnt satisfied by, and when I returned the next day, they corrected it for no additional charge.

According to the website I was over charged. I got a buzz cut and was charged for a regular cut. I would also like to see the back of my head and asked if it is the haircut that I wanted or if I am happy with it. I had to look at the mirror across the room. Shuffled out like sheep.

It is hit or miss at Regular Joes. You have to keep in mind most of these girls are cosmetologist not barbers and that the men that go there do so to be touched by a woman other then their wife. Some times you get an acceptable cut other times you get a rah rah (bad cut). However, no appointment required and hardly ever a wait. My Dad always said the difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is about two weeks !

Im in the military and new to the El Paso area so, i went to one of the first haircut spots I saw, it was a big chain store. They gave my son and I some embarrassingly bad haircuts, did a google search and went to Cool Joes. The staff were very friendly and professional, they instantly recognized that we needed a fix. Not only did they fix our hair but they gave a great cut, period. Its looking like this will be my regular spot while Im stationed here since I get a cut weekly. Thanks ladies!

I love that they store your last hair cut in their system so that if you just want to go in for a cut, you can say the same as the last time or ask for something new. I always come here for my cuts.

Good cuts, often no wait.....but with so many chairs, why only 1 or 2 barbers at the same time, hence sometimes a crap wait. Also.....Google says open at 0900, but they really open at 1000.
