Great barbershop. Barbers are very knowledgeable and courteous. Its a family run business and theyre very laid back and family oriented. They cut adults and childrens hair. They are cash only, just FYI.

Claudia took my son in as a walk-in and she did a magnificent job. She was so cautious and detailed with his haircut. My little one felt comfortable with her and I felt comfortable in the shop as well. Will be going back.

Dont expect any type of fade or new cut, they charge me 45 dlls and not even got the cut i want it to, there’s better places to go and get a good quality cut for that price. Never coming back.

I’ve had my hair cut here since I was a baby. I would always get my hair cut from Abel himself until his daughter Bonnie started there. Every time I come back home to El Paso, I make it a paint to stop in and get a fresh cut. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a consistent barber!

I’ve been going here consistently for about a year now and have had my hair cut by 3 different employees; all of them knew exactly what they were doing and gave me the cut I asked for. Since I change hair styles up a bit, I find this to be the best part of Abel’s. I more consistently choose Pepe to cut my hair, but every one in there is totally awesome and knows hair. The pricing is right on track with the fairly simple cuts I get and even when I’ve been muddled in my directions, they know what I really want. Love the atmosphere, they really do make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Love this place!

I have been a customer of this barber shop for over 20 years. Abel and his staff are true professionals. Its a nice family environment and the prices are great.

I was in town for my nephews graduation. The environment and atmosphere at this barbershop felt like I was at home. I dont know how busy it gets, since I went during the weekday, but their were a good amount of barbers available when I went. The haircut came out phenomenal. I dont know what the rates here go for, but I felt like the cut was worth the money. Its truly an old style type of barber, which is what I prefer, and I would recommend parents to take their children. I look forwards to coming to it again in future when I come to visit.

Wouldn’t recommend going here for a cut they can’t do a line up right so I had to go to another barber to get it done correctly

Been going to this place for just about all my life. Always consistent even when my hair style hasnt. Im even coming here when Im bald because its always a good cut, it an old school shop even with the generous razor cut on the edges. Always Leaving fresh!

The barbers here don’t know what they are doing, I went in and asked for a taper the sides and the back aka a taper fade and the guy gave me a mid fade. Then when I bring it to his attention he tells me I don’t know what I’m talking about and tells me to leave. Terrible haircut and terrible service.

Bonny has been cutting my hair for at least 15 years. Shes the best.All of Abels are top barbers too.

Great barber shop atmosphere. Awesome haircuts! You can find a cheaper barber but you wont find the quality haircut that you will at Abels. I have made this my go to barber shop for both my son and I.

I would not recommend this place, especially if youre military. The guy seemed annoyed when I specified what I wanted as he was cutting. I told him I wanted even on top and he left the front askew. I wasnt satisfied with the length at the end asked him to cut just a bit shorter, he said he would have to charge me again! WTH. Definitely not coming here again. Save your money. Also it isnt $13 for a basic cut, he charged me $20 only took 30mins to cut.
