I was traveled to Berkeley over the weekend. I broke my iPhone screen and looking for a repair shop in the area. Lucky I found 3R Tek near me. I went there and took him 30 mins to replace the screen. It is a very good price. He also cleaned the dust inside my phone with no extra cost. I will always recommend this place who needs phone repair. The owner Alan is very nice guy and friendly.

Such a great experience! I had called around to so many places to get my LG phone screen fixed but every place said they only worked on iphones. I went into 3RTek, he ordered the new screen that day, and had it repaired after dropping it off for only a few hours! The phone is like new and I am so grateful. Thank you!!

Omg what a great shop. Fast, well done repairs, and as inexpensive as it can be. Educational, helpful, kind, polite. Marvelous wonderful gem. Its one genius guy. He immediately and correctly diagnosed the problem (cracked screen) and replaced it and protective glass within 1 hr, and educated me about using a better phone case (my case didnt have enforced corners so when phone dropped on its edge, it cracked easily). He showed me a better case, for sale, cheap. Overall I am thrilled, my phone is 100% operational again.

Alan knows what he’s doing, he can quickly assess what the issue is with your phone and tell you what can be done to fix it. Unfortunately, when I first brought my phone to Alan, it was probably already Dead on Arrival and only had a slim chance to be revived. Nevertheless, Alan spent so much time on my phone, putting a lot of effort and time and dedication to it because I had really hoped to be able to recover my photos and data. He tried to research different ways to help me and to help fix my phone, at no extra cost to me. Alan tried his best and I’m grateful for his effort and expertise and knowledge. If I have any problems later with other pieces of technology I own (laptop, phone, computer, whatever), I’ll definitely come find Alan again.

This guy Alan, knows his stuff and is very good with working with you about repairing your electronic device. At the same you gotta be understanding of any professionals time. He will tell you if its worth repairing your device or not. Thats what I appreciate about him. Since I like my devices, I see repairing them as worth his prices. In the end you pay what you get so I feel his price are worth it.

Need it repaired? Go here. The service is absolutely amazing. The man who runs 3RTEK replaced my S8s screen in under an hour, he had all the parts on hand, and it was incredibly seamless. This is absolutely astonishing for a screen that is notoriously expensive and hard to replace. Additionally, the total cost from going here was cheaper than just buying the part and replacing it myself. Very friendly and extensively suggested ways to keep my screen from getting cracked again, and even checked out my case to see if it was well designed. To my knowledge, he doesnt even sell cases. He also then told me what to look for in a good case. Truly amazing service.

Wow! So, so happy I came here. Alan fixed my computers problem fan quickly and wonderfully for a fair price, and even kindly accommodated my need for a rush. For the first time in months my computer runs quietly instead of sounding like an antique truck that wont start. The next time I need repairs done, Im definitely coming back here.

We had a great experience here! We brought in an iphone to have the screen replaced. They took us as walk ins (other places we called required an appointment) and were super friendly and knowledgeable. They replaced the screen in about 15 minutes and were cheaper than every other place we had talked to. I would take a computer there for repair in a heartbeat.

I found a shop near me which was through google search. Couple of days ago My iPhone 6 had a battery explored, I went in to 3R Tek had Alan fixed my iPhone. Now my phone works perfectly just like new.

The guy did not fix my phone. And I had to pay him $50 just to get my damaged phone Back. GreedyMy recommendation to people, Ask how much, before you hand him your phone. DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF.

I would call him about about 2 times a week. And, after about 6-8 weeks, he still hadnt repaired either one of my phones. I was the one that would usually call him. He usually would forget who I was and misplace my phone. I ended up picking up the phones, essentially as they were when I first brought them to him..

I thought my charging port was broken but the gentleman checked it out and let me know my charging cable was bad and sold me a new one. Honest business; saved me quite a bit of money!

Literally BEST tech-related experience EVER. I Cannot stress enough how flippin AMAZING this place is. Its run by one man - one very skilled man. This man has the hands of a surgeon and customer service of Chik fil a. I came in with a smashed phone(Google pixel 2) frantic and desperate to recover my texts (which are not backed up by Google). He got the job done in less than a couple hours. He ensured that I recovered ALL of my texts/pics/apps etc. He was honest, polite, and just all around AWESOME. 10/10 would definitely smash my phone just to have this knight in shining computer/phone hardware save me all over again.

Ok so I did a Yelp request for repair on my Galaxy S5, needs a screen and digitizer. Several reply were made by several repair places in the area, some were Apple only, some were not available and some didnt even respond. Of the ones that did respond Alan G. Of RTek was one of them. Most peeps gave a price between $100 and $180. Alan responded with a $100 quote but didnt have that screen in stock and said he had to order it and would let me know when it came in. He texted me (after asking my phone number) to let me know it was in. I wasnt able to get back to him for like 2 weeks. When I did get ahold of him today, he first varified he had the screen and the right color, so I asked him to verify the cost and he changed his price from $100 to $160. I mentioned that he quoted me $100 and that I still have the communication of his quote still on my phone, so he checked his records but could not varify anykind of contact with me at all (even tho there are several email and texts to show him).So after a depressing phone call I decided to just look elsewhere. Im giving this 2 Star review because he did contact me and was courteous when I spoke to him. By giving a false quote/not honoring the quote makes him seem like he is dishonest, forgetful or intentionally deceitful.Whichever it is, I will not be giving RTek any of my business, I can only share my experience with others, if he gives you a quote better get it in writing before hand or get price changed.

Al replaced my Motorola Droid Turbo 2s dying battery in less than an hour for $70. Another local repair shop I called earlier quoted me over twice that price and said they would have to replace my phones original back plate with a generic plastic one, which was totally unacceptable. Thanks to Al @ 3RTEK my phone is working and looking like the day I got it!
