The best part about reserving a van with Jim is the peace of mind that you will have knowing your rental will be ready and available when you fly in to the airport. He made the whole process effortless. You ask if rentals are available when you need and give him your flight details when you know the exact info. A few days before you arrive, hell send you a request for your drivers license, insurance, and payment information. (Note: He will work with you however you are comfortable with giving him the information whether it is text, email, or on the phone.) When you arrive, hell text you where to meet him, and off you go. Jim is the best! Thank you, Jim, for making an out-of-state surgery a little less stressful!

Jim was exceptional. I called last minute to fly to San Diego to see my new granddaughter. Jim arranged everything quickly and had the van ready at the airport on Fathers Day (a Sunday). He quickly returned my calls/texts and kept me informed. The van was great and all equipment worked perfectly. I definitely recommend his company.

San Diego Mobility Vans is by far the best mobility van rental service I have worked with. The prices are very fair and the pick up/drop off process is very convenient. Many places will only offer pick up/drop off services as a bundle, but SDMV lets you choose one or both. I elected to drop the van off at the airport, and Jim met me curbside. Highly recommended rental service.

Wonderful, helpful, efficient, concerned, etc., etc. After a horrifying experience with a competitor the day before, Jim was a breath of fresh air. I was hesitant about renting from Jim because I had heard nothing about his company. What a pleasant surprise when we actually met him with the van. He was polite, professional and very helpful. We had a couple of issues when we first rented it but a quick call to Jim and the issues were fixed. I would highly recommend his company.

The owner, Jim, bends over backwards to help his clients (residents and/or visitors alike) to rent a handicap van when needed. He works with his clients to make it easy for them to obtain the rental van which makes their life easier. I have also heard, and witnessed, how he helps organizations in finding the right van for purchase at a fraction of the cost of a brand new one - making it affordable to help the disabled (most financially strapped). What a non-selfish service he provides to our disabled - thank you Jim!

We rented a van for 11 days and it was perfect !!It was really easy to operate and get our motorized chair up and down the vans ramp. We shopped two of the big name mobility van companies in town before finding Jim Foster. The other companies may have looked a little flashier on the outside, but as a matter of trust there was no comparison. Jim was referred to us by a colleague who raved about the service he provided to her elderly mom. We immediately had a sense of connection when we met him for ourselves, and deepened our trust with him as we talked to him on our test drive. Jim was able to find us a comparable van for about $20k less than what we would have paid anywhere else. Needed a wheelchair van to rent, the other 2 LARGE companies are booked when I need a rental wheelchair van, so I checked with Jim at Coast Mobility. He tried to make it work for me, I really give him credit, but ... not this time. Will check with him first next year!
