Iβve been renting at the El Cajon location for 4 years, but never have I encountered customer service as great as Jesse has delivered each and every time! Usually people rent when taking a trip, and you donβt want to have a negative experience right before, which I have with other employees there. Jesse makes sure you always leave the lot with a smile on your face! That matters so so much! Work was good and appreciated that they washed the entirety of my car and cleaned the interior. Took longer than estimated. My team leader, Alfonso was great to work with. The receptionist was not very helpful - acted like I was putting her out every time I called.

Renting from Enterprise was very easy. Took care of everything online so when we got there everything went smoothly and very quick. The employees were friendly and very helpful. The SUV we rented was clean, in great condition and got great mileage. When we returned the car it went just as smooth and what they quoted us is what we paid. Out of all of car rental companies and we have used a few, this one is #1. Will only use Enterprise from now on.
Glad the El Cajon store had a better choice of vehicles than the Santee store. Would have liked it if we had been given a receipt, upon renting the vehicle, instead only getting it when we returned it.Would like to have more options for π key able cars and not just push button starts.

I reserved an SUV for the weekend and ended up needing to cancel 24 hrs ahead of time. When I went to the Magnolia location this morning the person who helped me was very understanding and there was no cancellation fee charged. Called enterprise at the Magnolia location in El Cajon. Prior to renting the vehicle that I needed I called the location and was instructed by Jesse to submit the reservation first and then call requesting the specific vehicle. I needed a 4x4 due to the road condition we would traveling too. I called and asked for a 4x4 I asked what the earliest time I could pick up, I was told 7:30. I called to confirm after the booking online that I would have a 4x4 waiting and that I would need it to be ready at 7:30am since I needed to be on the road by 8:30 am. The day prior I confirmed the time and vehicle and it was good to go!The day of the pick up I arrived and had me waiting for an hour and when finally I was going to be given the rental, the vehicle that was NOT a 4x4. When I questioned them they informed me that they didnβt have a 4x4 to give me. The rep stated they were waiting on vehicles to arrive but was not sure how long it would be. If I wanted a 4x4 the only one available was a luxury car, but I would have to pay $100+... But due to the situation they would discount me and only charge me $50 more. I informed the rep that that was not was I was told the day prior when I had called to confirm. He apologized and told me that would be the only option since they didnβt have enough cars and were not aware when the rest would arrive . It was my boyfriend birthday and I already had made arrangements that could not be postponed and I didnβt have the time to go to another location.Being charged extra for a vehicle I did not request and had to be delayed after it was arranged and confirmed was not great experience. If there not enough vehicle to be rented why are they allowing for vehicles to rented for a time that they donβt know if they will have the vehicle in there lot. Itβs a mistake that needs to be acknowledged and the consumer should have to pay for that error.

The vehicle was on empty, there was something spilled in passenger door cup holder, trash in drivers door, vaping film on inside of windows and it smelled like dirty dog. The workers we pleasant but still not a great experience.

Iβve rented from enterprise for the last several years.Most times my experience is decent nothing special but nothing to complain about.This time was less than decent.The truck I rented had damage to body, the interior was dirty with black hand prints and cigarette burns in the driver seat.The young man who helped me obviously hated his job. Poor customer service and very short with me.Upon return of vehicle they were extremely busy and there was minimal space for parking. So I park in the closet open spot I could. The person working the return car section said β could have parked in the return line. I didnβt think was a good I idea due to how busy they were and I would have been blocking traffic for a through street. Then they proceeded to say βdo you wanna move it, or we canβ with attitude to which I responded no gave the keys and went back to work.In all I normally donβt have issue but this tome was not great.

I lived off Van Houten Ave and I always rented a car with my debit card because my residency was verified. Rented a one way rental to Vegas came back the following weekend and rented again with no problem.
Awful customer service. The way the woman spoke to my mother was so rude and disrespectful. The attitude dripping from her voice, her facial expressions - why work in customer service when you cant communicate properly or even hide your disdain for your customers. Truly awful.
Very unprofessional and incompetent location, from the beginning they spelled my wifes name wrong, last name too (no big deal) they told us if we smoked in the car we would be charged a clean up fee (we dont smoke) and they gave us a car that had cigarette scent, smell bad also one of the wheel hubs/covers was missing, we still took the car because we needed it as my wife had wrecked our car earlier, we took the car and when we stop a the store notice the license plates were expired, how can they give you a car with expired plates? I personally will never rent at that location ever again
I was given a car with no oil, which left me stranded on the highway. Vehicle luckily limped to a close by hotel for me to spend the night. After returning the vehicle a few days later I was told I would be compensated for the inconvenience. Still waiting on that. This location destroyed my trust in the company. If I am to rent a car again it will never be from this location.

I made a reservation for a mini van two weeks in advance and I have been sitting here for an hour waiting for it to arrive and then have to wait for it to be sanitized. My representative Jesse was amazing but the fact that I have waited an hour when I am in a time schedule is ridiculous. I have never experienced this at enterprise before. I wonβt come back to this branch.
Picking up the vehicle only took a couple of minutes, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Despite not getting the car I thought I was going to get they made sure it would have great gas mileage which it did. Returning the car was even easier. Would definitely use them again.
The ladies who helped me were absolutely wonderful, and the vehicle I rented was perfect, and I drove from San Diego to Arkansas and back to San Diego and didnt have any issues at all, I will definitely be using Enterprise again.

I really needed help to rent a vehicle due to are care being totaled.I went to rent one there for 7 days.They coated me $317 .Turned to be $595 when we returned.Were very disappointed with there hitting feesAnd up charges.So public be aware.
Dave is an outstanding employee!!I was a frequent customer from Enterprise before the pandemic, but I stopped using them for a while, honestly I didnβt even knew they were open, but I used them last week and I was amazed of how well trained the staff is, and noticed how clean and sanitized the car was, a member reached out for in case I needed anything and the pick up and drop off went super smooth. Overall great experience and Dave played a good part for my for this to happen thanks again! Keep up the good work!

Best experience renting a car from this location.I reserved the car online, vehicle was ready when I got to the location to pick it up, I had a choice, made my selection, together the staff and I inspected the car, it was to my liking and off I went.To return the car is very easy to do, we inspected the car again and is all good, receipts, rules and contracts is done electronically, no more paper.Staff is very helpful and organized.

I have recently been Dissatisfied, and Dissappointed, For the third time the location in El Cajon has not only made me wait over an hour, but other people also. The customer service is soso. I would rather pay full price, then get a discount and Be late or put off for hours. You need to get these people together immediately.

I made an appointment to pick up a car from the enterprise on magnolia in El Cajon the appointment was at 7:00 I got there at 6:30 and they were closed I tried to talk to the manager and he was very disrespectful and rude he was arguing and was showing horrible customer service, I also had a verification number to pick the car up at 7:00
Austin was knowledgeable, patient, empathetic and extremely fast with assisting me with a car I was comfortable driving. Keep this guy around, give him a raise and promote him. I didnβt happen to catch the other gentlemanβs name working but they were very friendly and helpful to me while I waited. I will definitely use Enterprise again.

I needed to rent a car for my husband health appt. When I came there. Some men who looked wealthier than me wanted a SUV. The attendant took me to a Hyundai SUV. I think this was bc 1 man was under 25 and I have a perfect driving record. I told the attendant when I returned the SUV I had wanted an economy car. I liked the economy car I rented before the sedan told me that someone was driving next to me.

What started out as a negative experience quickly turned around thanks to the Manager who I believe was named Eric.I was planning a roadtrip with my teenage Niece and thought it would be cool to rent a fancy car. I reserved a luxury car well in advance. On the day of my rental I contacted the agency in advance to make sure that my car was ready. There was no car turned in that met the criteria. I still had a few hours so I tried to be calm. Shortly after I was contacted by Stephanie who informed me my car was ready. On the way to pick it up, Eric called me to say that they had taken the car to get gas and the windshield was struck by a rock and severely cracked. He offered me a couple of other cars but none of them met the criteria of the category. Finally, we agreed on a lesser category of vehicle and Eric agreed to modify my price. While it was not a luxury vehicle it was a nice car and and even nicer price. Thank you Eric for your excellent communication and your kindness. I will definitely be using Enterprise again.

I was able to book a car very last minute due to an accident. I then was able to keep the car for 2 weeks until mine was fixed. No issues!

AFTER TELLING THEM I WAS STILL USING THE RENTAL & THEM CHARGING MY DEBIT CARD OF NEARLY $600 THEY CAME TO MY HOME & TOOK THE CAR BACK & DIDNT SAY A WORD TO ME. Disrespectful customer service .23/4/21 at 3:00pm i called to make a reservation the guy cut me as soon as he knows that i didnt like the price.
We had a reservation upon arrival we were treated well we had to wait for us to assess the car with a representative which is understandable he was logging in to the device. As we were looking at our 1st car and were ready to sign we were asked if we wanted a bigger car for the same price apparently they had multiple reservations for an upgraded car and didnβt have but 1 small Audi, so we agreed we got a bigger car, nice Cadillac but the tank was below half filled so we went and filled it which cause more than what we wanted to spend but we realized it was a bigger car so no problem, upon returning the car we were not advice that this location closes at 2pm by the time we left and got our car on Friday it was about 230 upon returning it back on Saturday the office was closed and there was no drop off box. The Agent that assisted us never mentioned they closed earlier than the time we had to return it which cause a delay in our day and Uber fees we had to call the 1800 number find a different location they wanted to charge us extra for returning to a different location but the rep on the phone was able to waive that fee however we had to drive extra time to drop off to a different location with a drop box.

I have always had good service at Enterprise. You dont have to wait long to get your vehicle. They have streamlined the process so well, that you are off the lot in a jiffy. They act professionally, and let you know what is going on so you dont have to ask. Enterprise is always my first choice.

You guys rescued me ...in style ! I was in need of a car to drive my daughter home and i was going through some emails and came across one from you guys..it was for a free upgrade. I wasnt really sure what that meant but all i knew was i needed a car. It was simple to apply and i got the car the very next day with almost no wait time. The car i had originally thought id be getting was an elantra but then while i was waiting the upgrade kicked in it was a beautiful dodge charger..i couldnt believe it. What really made me fall in love was the price... unbelievably cheap! I will definitely be coming back to you guys and i tell everyone how amazing u guys are every chance i can.

Its a hit-or-miss here. Sometimes they are super friendly and customer service oriented, and sometimes its like going to rent a car from them has ruined their day. But it is in a very convenient location, even if the hours arent always. Price ranges are good, and honestly, when its a good day there, its a great day, and theyll go above and beyond on those days. Just not always a guarantee.

I usually love to rent my cars from here and my experiences have usually been good. I do have to say my last one was not. The last car was filthy and smelled like a cigarette tray. I did have the guy send it to wash again but the car was still dirty. I took it upon myself to wash it again, Vacuum and detail it myself. I bought air fresheners so the smell would not be so strong. When I turned in the car it was so much more clean than the way given to me. I have never had to do that from any car rental company. I was not happy with my last experience. Hopefully that doesnt happen again.

Easy to rent a vehicle there. Good people wholl work with you to get the right vehicle for you needs. Can only promise a category, not a specific vehicle, but I guess thats the deal at all rental companies. Appreciate that they will pick you up and drop you off too.

CV-19 guidelines followed, only outside seating available and under tarps in the rain, so wet seats. Car was clean and ready within 15 minutes of arrival.
The people at Enterprise were extremely helpful and professional. I was picked up at a local car lot where my car was being serviced. Everything from the pickup to my turning in the car was excellent.
They said the authorization was gonna be just a $ turns out it was the price of what I paid for times 2. Wouldnt have had issues but when they take out more than $900 for ur rental for a price of $200, thatβa a foul move. Nothin on the contract I signed stated that. A heads up would have been nice but I was left to deal with waiting for my $$ to come back. ππΎ

Great customer service provided by each staff. Got me a shuttle ride to home on New Yearβs Eve when it was raining. Young lady was nice to drop me off to home. Itβs my 3rd time to rent a car with Enterprise and Iβll definitely comeback again!
