This place is difficult out of the gate where my card was at required me to make an appointment so that I could get my car.Once there they run you through the gamut of your paperwork your IDs and your monies each one just another roadblock.Their fees are based on a sliding scale and to my surprise according to them anyway most of the fees they charge go to the impounding department ie sheriffs highway patrol sycuan Police department when my car was picked up out of a parking lot that was parked there for two and a half hours at the sycuan gas station my initial fee to pick it up that day was $450 of that 200 was the tow the rest were fees that included a police department fee lean fee a storage fee.The towing industry is it an unregulated legalized theft ring.Final Ransom price to rescue my car was $935
If I could give 0 stars, I would. A motorcycle Ive been working got stolen from my place and the police found it at 3 am. Naturally, I wasnt awake to go retrieve my bike, so they had it towed. Now, at 7am the same day this tow company is trying to make me pay $285 to recover the bike which is not worth much more than $500, or I can sign over the title to them for $230 they tell me. Literally legalized theft IMO. I would have rather the police just left my bike on the street.
Christmas Eve, 2020... my husband and I found ourselves to be completely stranded, in the middle of no where, with our 30ft trailer pitched against a rock bank. Having one bar of service available on my phone, I contacted this company based off a Google search. The cordial dispatcher said someone would be out in exactly 1 1/2 hours. And honestly, we were so lost I wasn’t confident we could be found... About an hour into waiting, we get a call from the driver Sergio where I realized I gave him the completely wrong (BFE) road we were stranded on. He communicated with us and determined our location with professionalism and PATIENCE. 29 minutes later we see headlights in the midst of complete darkness (exactly one minute BEFORE the original estimated arrival, even after I gave him the wrong directions!). Not only did he pull our massive trailer out of the bank, but he told us he wasn’t going to leave us to pull it up the mountain ourselves and began towing it up a treacherous 3 miles to the nearest highway (we would have never made it).We are now safe and sound and it literally couldn’t have happened without Sergio’s experience and confidence. I’m serious when I say we were rescued on a dirt, narrow, gravel buried, pot hole ridden, tight turn taking, cliff lingering, ANXIETY DRIVING situation. And he pulled us to safety with ease (or at least he made it look easy!!!)Can’t thank him and Road One Towing enough for getting us out of a nightmare this Christmas Eve. 5 stars and a million thumbs up. So grateful!
Good servicethe drive that move my toolbox was very nice and got everything good driver
After a long run around with Pronto Global Logistics who I do not recommend Sharon helped me make sense of the mess Pronto had made and got the process started to move my vehicles to where I need them to be across the country. She went above and beyond helping me with other parts of the process that she was not getting paid for.
It was a very good experience.Thank you.
Called Road 1 to pick up my Suburban and deliver it about 40 miles to my house. They said a half hour to 45 minuets....they were there in half an hour. Gave me an estimate that was 25% less than the next towing company and the actual charge was 20% less than the estimate..unexpected but nice! Driver was courteous, helpful, pleasant and efficient. Would recommend them to anyone. A good company.
This is the worst towing if I could give 0 stars I would do it no question asked. We parked our car in the school parking lot on a Sunday and they towed the next morning as I called and explained our situation that due to my mothers sickness and how we were busy at the hospital that was the only place we could park in that night. I asked them to help me out due to Covid19 and how were not able to pay any money because no one is working they refused to help me out and they demanded to pay 325 when it has only been couple of hours since theyve towed it away. Worst people they have no sympathy what so ever.
It’s already nerve wracking experience to be in an accident. To deal with these guys is almost as bad. Guy at the window has no customer service at all and is very rude. Raised his voice and very condescending to my daughter. Won’t entertain any question and told me I’m not a customer because the car is under my wife’s name. I won’t recommend this company to anybody.
Usually when dealing with a tow service your in a predicament and a frustrating situation. So at that point the towing service is most likely having to deal with you. Well the dealt with me and did a great job. would use them again if ever in the situation.
Shady people
Rip off. Just a legalized place to steal your car with major fees
Not very helpful over the phone.
Like working here
Would never use this company again
Great driver!!!
Way expensive
Nice guys
Waste of money
