I could’ve expected more professional service. It’s April 2021 with remaining Covid concerns and they were well prepared and equipped for entering my residence and protected themselves and my home with respect to guidelines throughout this service. I have used CJs previously and they are #1 for excellent service and a excellent job on my toddler and pet tortured furniture. It looks brand new again.

CJ and his partner Justin always do a fantastic job. I was able to get an appontment within 48 hours. They arrived on time and finished within two hours. They qouted a flat price, no surprises and are extremely reasonable. They cleaned stairs, the master bedroom carpet, area rugs and grout in the bathroom and closets. Everything turned out exceptionally well! I highly recommend CJ for all of your cleaning needs!

CJ Frank did an amazing job on our carpet! We had a huge candle spilled on the carpet and he was able to get all of it out, in addition to many pet stains. CARPET, couches and little rugs get cleaned! Very flexible schedule, hard workers. Sometimes a little late 10-15 minutes (makes sense, I asked him to do extra so he’s being nice and putting him behind schedule), just like most major companies! I have used him 5 times. Someone complained about not taking credit cards, get over it, there are still several places who dont or they charge you. I hired 2 other carpet cleaners and I always go back to him. I’m a loyal customer now!

We recently bought a certificate for a couch cleaning at a charity auction so we scheduled an appointment with CJ for that and to disinfect all of the mattresses in the house. He was available within the same week and was extremely courteous over the phone. He arrived on time and was super friendly, professional and informative. I felt very safe having him in the house and never once felt uncomfortable (Its always a hard thing to have strangers come into your home, especially as a woman so this is important to me). He thoroughly cleaned the couch and every single throw pillow along with both mattresses in about an hour and did a lovely job. My husband and I enjoyed chatting with him after about his 11 years of experience and will definitely recommend him to our friends and family. Next time I need something in the house cleaned, Im definitely calling CJ!

You never know how dirty your house is until these guys come by 😂😂 Im a pretty neat person and no amount of dusting, sweeping, or vaccuuming between visits you do between visits will keep you from noticing that your place wasnt really CLEAN. These guys are great, and I always get a good price. Almost feels like a steal!

Im truly disappointed with Mr. CJ and saddened to be writing this review. I came across a Groupon for his company and called before purchasing anything to find out of there were additional charges for being on the third floor of an apartment complex. I left a message for him and reviewed his reviews. When he called back I almost didnt pick-up but I did, now I wish I hadnt. During our conversation he said there normally would be additional fees; however if I went directly through him he would waive the fees and charge me the same rate as the Groupon. I scheduled a date and time with him a few weeks out because he was booked. I called him two days before our appointment and didnt receive a call back. I text him the day before, no response. Im now sitting on my balcony in the cold with my 10 month old (who should be napping) upset with myself for having compassion on a man who seemed to be seasoned and wanting to work. I gave him a chance for a good review, I hoped he had changed his ways since his poor reviews were old and now I see he is still the same man everyone spoke poorly about. Now my husband will be using his only day off to clean carpets because we need to have them done for this coming week. Thank you Mr. CJ for taking my baby girls father away from her on the one day she gets to spend quality time with him. Youve lived down to your reputation as a bad business man and I hope those seeking your service decline it once reading how inconsiderate you were of our time and kindness.

Sadly, I had a similar experience as many of the Groupon customers, though I was not a Groupon customer. I had done business with CJ Frank for years and had been satisfied. I had recommended him to others, not anymore. He made an appointment and ghosted us. Hes just not reliable.

I have complained to Living social about this business because I too am having a problem getting ahold of him. I am selling my house and wanted to get someone In quick. He never answers or responds. After seeing all the other reviews, I will be asking for a refund.

I too fell for the Groupon. At first he was responsive, then he completely stopped responding to me. I emailed him twice, my husband emailed him once or twice, and my husband called a few times with the last time being told him voicemail was full. This was disappointing as I really wanted our carpets cleaned prior to family coming out to visit. I was able to work everything out with Groupon, let them know hes not getting back to you.

Not responsive to inquiries. I had to follow up to get any response. When a time was finally offered to me the following week I accepted but received no confirmation. Day of no call, no show. I waited, then called which went straight to voicemail. Cleaning was scheduled for the morning before final inspection for move out and I had to scramble to find a replacement carpet cleaner at a beyond premium rate. Dont put yourself through the hassle and anxiety.

I was really hoping to not have to write this review but after giving CJ Frank the benefit of the doubt, I have no choice. I purchased a Groupon for grout cleaning in order to sale my house. It took several days to get a reply to my phone calls to set up an appointment. The main number went to voicemail which was full so I couldnt leave a message. The scheduled appointment time came and went with no word from the company. I tried to call and send an email but got no response. I gave them one more week just to make sure that I had not gotten the appointment time wrong and still heard nothing. I left messages on both the main and secondary numbers but never heard back. I finally had to contact Groupon to get a credit.

I had an appointment scheduled for 4/15 at 3:00 p.m. and I had confirmed on the Thursday before and was advised that we were confirmed. 4/15 3:00 comes and goes and no one showed up. I called twice and text messaged and no return. Things happen but there was absolutely no communication. I will never use them again.

Purchased Groupon deal and tried to reach this bussines for about 20 days... no phone call returns, no e-mail return! I contacted Groupon, Groupon contracted them and i got an e-mail. With my best hopes we tried to schedule but guy never confirmed... I tried to reach them night before the morning when they supposed to show up... his answer was: we never confirmed,..,So insted of dealing with unprofessional company like this, I swiched my deal to something else.

RIP OFF - Beware buying a Groupon coupon for this business.IF you can reach CJ Frank Carpet to book an appointment, they will almost certainly stand you up, perhaps like me they will do it all drawn out through a day, keeping you waiting and giving notifications of a supposed breakdown and might still come, and then no responses to efforts to reach them and reschedule. Look at Yelp reviews... if they bother to call you, they usually say they had some kind of breakdown. The majority of reviewers that gave 1s and wish they could give 0s and they also bought on Groupon. Beware CJ of CJ Frank Carpet Cleaning San Diego. He is savvy at this and talks a good story, then burns you.Also beware Groupon! Groupon has been sending me generic responses to all my efforts to get a refund or credit to the effect that there are only three days in which to ask for a refund. Well: (A) Groupon has had so many complaints about this business that they should not keep selling vouchers for them (but of course they keep the money if the voucher isnt cashed or refunded) and (B) I didnt change my mind in three days about wanting the service. I wanted the service and took the first available appointment two weeks later and then got stood up and unable to contact business to reschedule, etc. so how would I know that was going to happen within three days of buying the coupon? Do not trust Groupon.This has been a time-wasting and extremely horrible experience. Ive lost faith in using coupons to buy services in advance, and specifically lost faith in Groupon. Now Ive contacted my credit card company of over 30 years (Discover) to dispute the charges and I sure hope my faith in them has been warranted.

Purchased a groupon and called the business several times to make an appointment and it took them over a week to return my call. When I finally scheduled a carpet cleaning appointment they NEVER SHOWED up. Tried several times to call the business and they never picked up or returned my call. Horrible business. Set up my entire apartment for a cleaning and to have no one show up is frustrating and an inconvenience.

I bought a Groupon for 3 bedrooms and a hallway cleaning. I called to make the appointment and they guy i spoke with said his computer had just died and he would call me when it was charged, that was 2 weeks ago. I have called serveral times and have had no response. After reading the other reviews i am glad Groupon gave me my money back!
