I worked with Elijah who was very helpful. He was able to find an available discount for my oil change that I didn’t know was available and he was able to get my tire pressure sensor fixed under my warranty that I was also unaware was still active. Great guy that Elijah!

This was quite possibly the best experience Ive ever had buying a car. I had been searching for several days for a truck and not finding what I wanted or needed. Gabe showed me what I wanted, didnt pressure me into anything, worked with my budget, and when it was all said and done after 5 1/2 hours what I wanted, a truck, wasnt in my budget which I was prepared to deal with so he helped me find what needed what my must haves were in a vehicle and found me the best match. My bad!🤣The service was great: He kept me updated but not intrusive, respectful, professional and fuuunnnyyy. My mom had a cup of coffee and I had three hot chocolate cups... oops! 😁The name of the mister who got me set up didnt have a name tag and I cant recall him telling me his name, otherwise I would mention it in capital letters. As a first time buyer, I pulled up to the parking lot thinking I may or may not end up going home with a car today, but with God’s grace and the amazing help of Mr. Joe Chavez, I ended up leaving the building with a 2020 Honda Civic. Joe broke down the fundamentals for me and I couldn’t thank him enough for his time and support. I didn’t know how to act after this man. I was there early in the morning and they approached me instantly. I asked for my car’s brakes oil change and it was faster that the time expected. The guy was really nice and helpful. I do not remember his name (sorry!), but he was stationed in the first computer as soon as you enter the building (left side).They even washed my car. That was a surprise!!Thank you!!

Hands down the best car buying experience weve ever had! Cory was very honest throughout the whole process and there were no tricks typical at so many other dealerships. He helped me find the perfect used vehicle after a couple horrible experiences with other dealerships. AND the whole process only took like an hour and a half and that included the test drive and everything!! Unheard of. I would not hesitate to do the drive again to see Cory and purchase another vehicle from Nissan El Cajon.

I came in for a service and was greeted right away. I then when into your sales area and was speaking with Gabe. My overall experience with my tech who serviced my car and Gabe was great. Poor experience and Service, with the Service department at the El Cajon location. I have my 2019 Nissan Altima at another dealership. I told them that my car was diagnosed there with a P059 code from the onboard computer. I knew that, before I took my car into the other dealership, which I have a warranty with, because I used my OBII reader and got the same code. I came into the El Cajon Service Department, and I asked for assistance in determining the price for the part and labor, but they gave me the Cold Shoulder . The Service department Rep, was talking about how they had to run a diagnostic test on my car again on their end, And they could not help me unless, I brought my car to them. The Service department Rep, then asked his Parts department co-worker, and without actually looking up the information, he blurted a figure off the top of his head. Needless to say, I will never come to this location again, as I am not sure if it was just laziness or racially motivated.

I brought my car in for 2 different dignostics and an oil change. When I left the dealership there was a strange sound that came out of my AC that I had never heard before. When I told my service adviser about it, I was told that I would have to pay another 160 for a diagnostic of the problem and would need too pay to fix it. I informed him that I had never heard that sound before and it had happened while the car was in the dealers hands and was told that there is nothing that they can do about it.

Horrible just HORRIBLE. I made an appointment to drop off my car to get an oil change. My car was there at 7am. I never got a phone call or an update and when I dropped off the car the service tech seemed overwhelmed and was rude. “ He told me to sit down over there”, never even looking me me in the face. When my car was ready my husband complied to the manager. The manager tried to justify the employee action by saying, “I know the service rep, I brought him to this location with me”. I will never recommend this place nor will I ever buy a New car from this business. I am in the market to buy a new car and this experience has look totally turned me off from anything Nissan.

Unfortunately had an Extremely bad experience today 7/4/2021 during the in person negotiating/purchase attempt process, Made and online inquiry over a month ago to this dealership because we had a very pleasant purchase experience previously of our 2020 Rogue, at that time the sales representative and finance team went above and beyond in showing care for our needs and provided a very good deal we were mutually satisfied with; this year we wanted to explore our possibilities of trading for a 2021 model we made an inquiry on May on the website and got emailed back from Joe Chavez, we held off following up for a couple of months and finally decided to go today on July 4th thinking we would maybe get good deals due to the holiday, upon getting there we test drove one of the Rogues on the lot (Blue SV) although it wasn’t the one that we liked, we liked a Boulder gray SL Model, we took a look at that one and asked Joe to please help us see what deal they could offer us, he came back with the information from finance and said unfortunately he could not offer any discount on that vehicle because that model was selling very well and most likely he could get a client that would pay MSRP for it, he did offer a better interest rate deal for the Other Rogue (the blue one we didn’t want) and also mentioned that since we had gotten a great deal on our previous purchase he couldn’t do anything more this time. We told sales representative we would wait and come back, we came back one of our relatives was with us and he asked if there was a possibility of us getting a better deal and was told by Tonya Guccione (Sales Manager) that he had no idea what a great deal we were being offer by her, that she was “no bull shitter”, at that point in time we decided to leave the dealership as we felt not only unwanted but also treated with great disrespect.I got a call later by Tonya and she was explaining the financial reasons for her proposal of the deal, I explained how we felt, and the fact that the use of foul language with our relative was unprofessional and disrespectful to us all, she said that it was in an employee context, I replied that such language was inadequate even between employees, she said she apologized, so I asked her again if they were able to work with us within our needs, she could not, so I respectfully informed her our conversation was over.She called again and said she had great news for us and that she is trying to sell us a car, and is working on a deal for us. I am pending her further confirmation to see if this will work out for us, I am honest in reiterating however that it has been a negative experience.I will update my comment when I have more information.

Called to schedule an appointment and the gentleman told me no problem and had me in a couple hours later. This being my first Nissan I had a question regarding oil maintenance and the gentleman on the phone was very confused about what I was asking so I told him not to worry about it and I’d follow up when I showed up.Showed up for my appointment and the gentleman taking care of me went on and on about how he had 25 other cars and they were closing at 4 and he would “do what he could, no promises” I said ok not a problem…..he seemed very stressed out because as he continued with whatever computer work he was doing he continued to tell me how backed up they were and he would do what he could. I said no worries, at the end of the day we can just reschedule right? He said we could but he would do his best, again…..no promises.Just kept thinking why would I be scheduled so quickly if this guy was this backed up? Wondered how the appointments are scheduled and if they’re communicating effectively with each other.As I walked out I remembered my service question so I asked the gentleman my question and he gave me a very quick response. I said ok only reason I’m asking is because I saw on the Nissan website this info here, without looking at what I was showing him he said no it’s this. I said ok well maybe you should talk to the big boys upstairs because others may not have the luxury of talking to you and could possibly damage their vehicles going off what Nissan recommends.My service was done in about an hour or so, which made me wonder what all the hooplah was about being so backed up.Next time around I may try the National city location to see if I fare a little better. Kind of felt like a bit of a bother and when dealing with questions the guy was a little condescending.

I took my car in for its 30K service and a recall. When I booked the service, I was expecting to pay close to what it showed online, which was around $300. Well, I paid $500 in labor, plus around $130 for the parts, etc...the staff is great and it seems like it’s always busy. Luckily they had a rental since the recall was going to take a few hours. I’ll most likely only return for major maintenance due to my warranty.

UPDATE Monday April 26, 2021I was promised a refund for this maintenance package. I have called several times and left message still not respond. Today I called and was hung up on. Shame on you Mossy Nissan for these deplorable, dishonest practices of ripping off veterans.Veterans beware! I purchased a vehicle from here back in January. At purchase a fast talking finance guy name Manny talked me into buy some top of the line package where I dont pay for maintenancefor the life of the vehicle. Manny said oh this covers belts and hoses for life any maintenance issue you take the car to any Nissan dealership nationwide and the vehicle will be fixed for free. Fast forward I bring the car in for the service and find out I was scammed. There is no such package. MOSSY NISSAN SCAMS VETERANS AND DOESNT HONOR THEIR WORD.

I was so close to pulling the trigger and purchasing a car from another dealer, but luckily it didnt work out and I ended up on the lot of Mossy Nissan El Cajon. I am SO GRATEFUL that I did. Joe Chavez was the sales associate who helped me and he was the very antithesis of what you expect from a standard used car salesman. Joe is PATIENT, professional, knowledgeable and honest. I went back in after an associate told me he would price match my oil change because as of 2017 I haven’t been getting it thru Nissan.the last time I had work done it was a hassle and when I got my car back my center light in my car fell there isn’t glue or anything else holding it up so I’ll have to tape called the Monday after I picked up my car nothing called a few more times nothing... I called months later to make and appointment for my oil change with him... I went in to find out the associate was no longer there ( I spoke to him Friday went in Monday.. I was told they would call me to check warranty on my looking at my light and never heard back from anyone. This location is so bad at calling back I’ve called 2/3 times in a single day and wouldn’t hear back. When you get there everyone is so nice but there’s never any follow thru. I only go here because I live across the street. Every time I’ve taken my car in I always have to call and follow up usually take about 3 calls. Last time they kept my car for over a week with no call back... horrible

Fours Nissans later, a Titan, a Frontier and two Altimas we are still very happy with Nissan. We could not be happier with the service we receive either.Gabe is Sales knows exactly what we want and finds it when it is time. No hassles, just straight forward and knowledgeable. If he does not know the answer to my question he will find it fast.Elija (Check spelling) Runs a great service department and actually cares about his customers.Sara is our go to in the service department and is just awesome. So much in fact that I now send our chevy sales fleet SUVs to her for service. You are not going to find her trying to sell you services you dont need.I had to send send both trucks to the body shop, one for an accident, the other for a factory defect. Although it takes such a long time for them to get your vehicle back, the work is great!Class act from Sales all the way to Management. We will be Nissan fans for some time if this level of service continues to impress.

We had a great experience at Mossy Nissan. We knew we wanted a dependable car that would last us many years so we went to Nissan with a plan to just check it out and maybe one other car dealership. On arrival we were met by David who was friendly and very knowledgeable about any car we pointed to. He would unlock them and let us sit in them. My boyfriend ended up loving a Maxima while I loved one of the Rogues. We had been approved by our credit union but David found us a better deal than we had expected. It was so smooth and surprisingly fast that I asked about maybe trading in my car. Normally I would never ask, I know car dealerships can low ball you on trade ins but they offered to paid it off and still found me a great apr and monthly payments! We both left with new pre-owned certified cars! I’ve never in my life have had such a great experience buying one car let alone two cars! Thank you so much to the friendly and efficient team at Mossy Nissan El Cajon! You all made the experience amazing!

Derek (Sales) was so very very knowledgeable about the model we came in to test drive. I never felt any high pressure sales he really lets the product sell itself. He is very high energy and may have been more excited than us about our purchase. Overall just a super awesome guy to work with. Mike (Finance) helped us understand our options and got us into a payment plan that works for us while also helping us ditch our Jeep with negative equity. This dealership is very lucky to have both Derek and Mike working on their team.

I had an appointment and was greeted immediately however had to wait 7 minutes until I was served. The service man was cordial and made sure that all my needs were addressed and that I was heard. My service was good however I thought that some of the charges were way over priced such as $30 to clean my battery terminals and put pads under them. My wife was the one who answered the phone and approved the work had it been me I would have not had that done. I will be back for warranty work but most likely not much else.that being said, your employees are top notch people and helpful.

I bought a new Frontier from the dealership on 12/27/2020. The sales guy insisted that I take procession of the truck and promised that the alarm will be activated at my place of business and he personally will fix a little issue with the trim.All BS!Two days later I had to take the truck in to the shop to complete the setup.What a waste of time! My time, of course.The truck and the service guys are great.Beware of the sales guys! They are pushy and manipulative. No integrity!Stephan Auvil
