Honestly, gotta say the staff here are absolutely great! First time in the area and wanted to stop there after reading the reviews! I had an older lady hook me up and gotta say it turned out great! She took her time and was friendly. $12 for a cut you cant beat. I pulled out $30 as I wasnt familiar with the place. Gave her the $30 and told her to keep the rest after she was done. Definetly going back when its due time.If youre in El cajon, highly recommend this place for your haircuts! And the best part is, theres a TV right in front of you for when your getting your haircut! Youll never be bored!

Cheap cut, but tha lady clearly could not understand English, and gave my kid some bastardized version ofa 70s Dorothy Hamill bowl cut! Not sure how 3 off everywhere. turned into this? Im sorry, but how do u think any 15y/o BOY wants to leave your shop, lookin like THIS?!

Don’t go to this barber shop. I asked for a lineup and they didn’t even give me one. And they messed up my fade and wasent even straight.it’s cheap but the quality is really bad.

Actually I was a few doors down with my Scottish Terrier. TLC PET SALON, owners Sue and Lynnea Gillet, have been giving my animals the beauty treatment for almost 20 years! Truly the best groomer in the east county of San Diego ca. Actually in the City of El Canon Broadway & Colleen rd. But Im sure Scotts is a great place for you dudes to get a trim!

I took all four of my sons and what the heck are they doing cutting hair!!! I’m just glad this isn’t permanent. Out of all 4 of my kids they didn’t get one, not one right! Before they got started my boys showed them what they wanted and they just did what they wanted. This place is only good for funky military style buzz cuts. I’d rather wait for two hours somewhere else than ever go back.

Update: Based on other reviews, I decided to try the male barber. He did a good job and for the price, its tough to beat this place.. I will continue to visit him only.The woman that cut my hair made the right side too short and it was obvious to others my haircut was poorly done. I definitely will not be returning to her, which is too bad, as I like supporting local small businesses.The location is in a very small strip mall on the north side of the road. The inside wasnt modern but for $8 a haircut, youre not expecting perfection. Its clean and although the woman didnt appear to speak much English, she wasnt rude. She just didnt do a good job or own up to her mistake.
