My boyfriend and I were passing through Oklahoma City and stopped by this gym to workout and it exceeded our expectations! We stopped by two additional times during the duration of our stay in Edmond. The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating, especially Candice. They have every piece of workout equipment imaginable, more than enough treadmills, ellipticals, and other cardio equipment, as well as a walking/running track spanning around the facility. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean, and the staff were continuously cleaning. It’s evident they take pride in their gym. If you find your self in Edmond, OK. and need a place to work out, check out Key Fit Club!
Got a day pass to use the pool and really enjoyed my time there. Wasnt too busy, had nice amenities and was very clean. Will return for sure!
They have a pool and free weights..plus its clean and nice people..
I take the little girl I nanny to swim lessons here 3 times a week. Ms. Megan is such an amazing swim instructor along with the others. We are always greeted upon arrival by the front desk and told good bye when we leave. It’s clean and nice.
My gym. Its big, and the pool is awful, but otherwise this is an awesome facility. So much space, and the techno gym has every machine imaginable. Martial arts training upstairs and what looks to be an amazing gymnastics facility on the main floor. The pool however isnt grounded properly so you cant swim if there is lightning. Also, the tile around the pool is in desperate need of repair.
I really liked the size of the gym when I first started. But then summer hit and the AC was obviously not a priority. I joined a gym so I could workout inside, without humidity! Slowly I realized a lot of the equipment wasn’t being maintained. It really seemed like the owners only cared about the Gymnastics part of their business. They stopped towel service and finally fired my wonderful trainer over an “ethical dilemma” they created. I do not support businesses who don’t treat their employees with the respect they deserve. I joined Results down the street and LOVE it, go there instead!!
This gym is the perfect gym for just about every age. They have a huge selection of equipment, and a pool for those who like to swim laps. They also offer classes that are included in your membership and a couple that aren’t. I would give this place a shot no matter what your goals are!
Key fit really shines with the quantity of lifting equipment. They also have a second half of the gym that has some really nice treadmills and bikes elliptical machines as well. The only thing I would say they need to work on is the cleanliness of the equipment there is no culture of making sure you wipe your equipment off. Up until a week ago their wasnt any bleach or bucket to throw away your paper towels.
We just started using this gym and we LOVE it! The cost is super affordable especially for everything you get! The childcare area is phenomenal and our child loves the ladies in there!!!! They are soooo great with her!!! When you walk in the gym the staff knows you by name and they typically sign you in before you even have to scan your card! The gym itself, classes, and pool are fantastic!!!!! There is definitely something for everyone at every fitness level to do here!!! No intimidation AT ALL!!!!!! I am currently working out with a trainer (Sheryl Rollins) and she is AMAZING!!!! Hands down the best trainer Ive ever worked with and by far the best workout Ive ever gotten!!!! We highly recommend this place!!!!!!
I take a row class at 405ROW at Key Fit Club and it is AMAZING! It is a full body work out and the people there are the greatest!
I loved this gym but when it changed ownership it was destroyed. I stayed and watched instructor after instructor fired due to fear of competition or for no realistic reason at all. I went there at least 5 times a week and loved the classes but after you continuously show up for classes only to find out that the instructor has been fired or left, you give up. I have moved elsewhere.
Dr. Foxs office is in this center and Im so glad I went. I took my son to see her today and had the best experience! From the first phone call to schedule, to the check-in, and even the nurse who took his vitals and health history, everyone was pleasant and helpful and made the whole appointment feel comfortable. Dr. Fox met all my expectations from high recommendations from close friends and other doctors. Definitely the place to take your little ones!
Love their huge warm pool!!
The gym is fantastic - I absolutely love working out here. The trainers are top notch - I highly recommend Zach for Personal Training sessions. As well, the clinic is great - the Doctors genuinely care and take the time to find the best ways to treat your medical needs.
This place is not your average wellness center. It has a medical clinic, physical therapy area, fitness center, and indoor pool, they even sell vitamins and supplements.Dr. Fox and her PA Ruth Laird are the best physicians in Oklahoma. They take the time to get to know you; the wait to see Dr. Fox could be better, about an hour wait time, but it is worth the time. The gym is really nice too, for me the Technogym area has been the best part. I love how they customize my workouts for me and how I can use their app to do my workouts even when I am not at Key Health.
Nobody here was maintaining social distance and the waiting area here in the front had kids just running around unattended. The bathroom sealed the deal for me, i almost vomited. Im not coming back.
This place started out so great when we started going here a few years ago, but it slowly took a nose-dive.Pros:- Spacious- Clean- Overall friendly staff- Reasonably pricedCons:- Some equipment is not maintained very well- Group classes and individual training can get in the way a lot of the time- Pool hours constantly change and are never consistent. You dont know the pool is reserved until you show up to find a sign on the door.- Horrible hours- Always closed during major holidays when most people might want to work off some stress.- Parking there can get very crowded at times, and its even WORSE when the soccer season starts. They arent supposed to park so close to the gym, but its a rule that was never enforced.
Very professional and knowledgeable naturopath. They can determine from lab tests if youre deficient in any vitamins and offer very good advice. Ive been feeling better over the course of the year. Nice, casual atmosphere. I feel really comfortable in this clinic. They do have a gym as well.
This is a first class facility. Great place to workout and if you need to see a Dr. they have an urgent care and family practice on-site. They have all the equipment every other gym has, but what makes Key Heath great is Technogym this equipment is definitely the best in town. They also have Fit3d body scan. I recommend everybody to try out Key Health Institute at least once.
Great place to work out lots of room friendly people
The fitness center is excellent. With indoor pool, spacious weight and cardio rooms, clean locker rooms, basketball court and endless number of classes for all levels and interests. Ive been a member for 2 years now and enjoy using the facilities. Parking is spacious and staff are friendly.
I love that its rarely crowded & the trainers dont constantly try to sell you on products or services. Great place to go for completing a workout in peace.
Going to give it a try, very helpful staff.
I love this place everyone is so nice. I enjoyed it. You must see it to believe it
I love the attention the doctors and staff give give to patients and the fact that they think and investigate unlike most doctors I Hanne seem. The big issue is that they do not manage times and appointments well at all. I have waited for as much as two hours and a friend has waited 3. This is with an appointment. Its not the exception either is every time. I switched from doctor fox to her PA to apps this but so have others and now the same issue is happening with her. I am glad that they have had such success but if they dont get a handle on this time thing soon they ate going to end up loading clients. I feel like 30 minutes on occasion is acceptable but even that is on occasion. 2 or 3 hours is never acceptable.
My first gym joining and I enjoy the staff and equipment! Very safe and encouraging environment
When my husband and I first started going here, it seemed like a really nice gym. It met both of our needs since I liked going to classes and he liked working out on his own. Most of the machines were newer and fairly simply to figure out. However, there were quite a few things we didnt love about the gym. The gym isnt open for long hours on the weekend and thats usually when we found the best time to work out. Also, their class times were never good for someone with a working schedule. For instance, I worked 8 to 5 in OKC so by the time I was able to make it back to Edmond, the classes I wanted to attend had already started. A lot of the classes I was interested in were also in the mornings while most people would already be at work. Most recently, they started charging additional fees for certain classes like cycling and boot camp. These were all included when we first got our membership. On top of that, they got rid of the classes I really loved to go to like the Dance FIT class and replaced it with other things. I didnt quite understand this because I felt like Dance FIT was always full when I attended it. With these different changes, my husband and I decided to go to a different gym that was more fitting for our needs--open all of the time, all classes included in fees, classes offered at times we can attend, and cheaper! We thought we were done with Key Fit, but then we had even more issues with them! They continued to charge us AFTER we canceled. We canceled at the beginning of October and we knew we would get charged that month even though we werent going to use the gym. When we got there, the girl at the front desk didnt know how to process a cancellation, so we worked with a guy instead. However, he was distracted shooting the breeze with his friend. We asked him if the month of October would be our last charge and he said it would because we were cancelling at the beginning of the month. Then, today (a month later), we noticed another charge from Key fit on our account. When I called to infer about it, the first person I spoke to said we were getting charged because we cancelled in the middle of October, which wasnt true. When I asked to speak to someone different, the lady was extremely rude and she lied to me. She said we cancelled on the 7th, which I know we didnt because that was a Sunday and we cancelled earlier that week. We went after work on the day the October payment was supposed to come out. She said we worked with the team lead, Amy, when cancelling. But thats not true. We worked with a guy who didnt even pay attention to us. And we told her what he told us about October being our last payment, and she said we werent told that and rudely told me I should have read our contract better.Honestly, the staff here was never friendly or helpful and this last interaction has just left a terrible taste in my mouth. I do not recommend this gym. You can get so much for your money somewhere else where they actually care about their customers. Not to mention, if you are interested in classes, you can go somewhere that allows you to bring friends for free that isnt contract and doesnt nickel and dime you! Plus, other places offer classes that actually work with someones schedule who works during the day. I definitely do not recommend this gym.
I needed a place for my teenage kids to go to. I met with Steve Clausen at Transformations fitness center and was going to join,BUT, I always check people out who are going to be around my kids, I looked at Oklahoma supreme court network typed in Steve Clausen and found he had been charged and pleaded guilty for selling drugs in a public facility. Not going to send my kids to be around that crap! They claim to be a place that is kid friendly and he mentioned Jesus about 15 times during our tour, then I find this out. SHAME!
I love all the changes that have occurred at Key Health. The place is so nice and with the addition of the TechnoGym, it feels like a brand new gym. Because the gym is so large I feel you can never get bored. There is basketball courts, swimming, TechnoGym, aerobics classes, and much more. I havent mentioned the new Urgent Care Clinic that opens at 6am so you can get in before work!!!!
LOVE! Great swim lessons for kids, always clean
Very Good basketball Court... the only problem is that most of the time is reserved for private activities or non members tournaments and actual members cant use it
Affordable with a wide range of opportunities. Love this place!
Staff is Incredible as well as Trainers, Giant Facility, and amazing set of group fitness classes.
CAUTION: The gym tries to screw you out of your money with hidden charges when you go to cancel. I was told that I could cancel my membership by signing a form and that there would be no charges. A month later I got a bill for the cost of a months membership. I called and asked why since I had it confirmed when I signed out that nothing further was needed. She said that I had only given 30 days notice and was required to pay the month of the membership that I had not used because I was told right then that my memebership was cancelled. I hope they enjoy the money more than a weeks worth of my sond medical treatment!!! JERKS
Love the space I get at this gym
Great place for working out!
Clean gym. Lots of equipment and other services.
I love this place!
Everything is broken in the Lockers room, several plumbing issues, and I am sure mold issue s by now, it is dirty, and their customers services just terrible.
