I brought my phone to have it fixed. I dropped my phone and the LCD is messed up. The gentleman at the store was friendly and professional and he set my expectation right when he said it’ll take 30min to fix and I can wait if I want to. I waited and it took less than 30min. He gave me a 90-day warranty and was very clear on what the warranty covers. I didn’t expect to pay so much. It cost me $80 and I was hoping for $50-60. But because of the customer service I was ok with the price. I hope they did a great job. I will write an updated review about the quality of work/repair in a couple of weeks. Let’s see how my phone functions now that it’s fixed. If you need to have your phones fixed, I still highly recommend Smart Phone Medic in Edinburg.

Fixed my ipad screen with one minor issue, the black replacement screen digitizer or whatever wasnt working, so they offered me the white and a discount, I didnt want to wait until the part came in, so I took their offer and went with the white.Their work was good and they offer a 90 day warranty, I was happy with the service and the tech who was there when I picked my ipad was very informative and knew his stuff, shout out to him (Chris) you can tell he cares about his job and that means a lot to me as a customer. Id use them again in the future and recommend you all do the same.

Super overpriced!!! Went in and took my sons galaxy s4 to get the charging port replaced, a sign was posted that they were not taking any debit or credit, I was told it was going to be a charge starting at $75.00. The next day I went out to Beepers Etc. on N. 23rd, not only was the job done fast they gave GREAT customer service.... I was only charged $27.00!!!

Customer service was terrible the manager spoke to me as if I had no clue what a broken screen was. the manager raised his voice to me and my mother after we took in the screen that was not replaced properly, which destroyed the phone. $140 that went down the drain they never back their work up and are extremely unprofessional

For anyone thinking of coming to this store *BEWARE* THEY SELL STOLEN PHONES. I purchased a iphone from here after and a few weeks later TMobile disconnected my service when I called to ask why they said the phone had been reported stolen. I asked the store manager for help they said we dont cover that I had my receipt with me and they would not help me. I spent $175.00 and now I have a useless iPhone/iPod because they wont help me. Buyers beware these people buy and sell stolen phone I even have my reciept and proof with print out from TMOBILE that shows the phone is stolen. They told me to get my fat ass out of the store is what they said. People like me wast time and hard earned money on phones that thieves like you guys sell. I hope you guys know I will call news channel 5 and let them know they can tell the whole RGV what lies you guys spread and cruel treatment you guys give your valued customers. People your better off somewhere else dont say I didnt warn you.

Went here on 2/17/2016. When I called them I gave him my model number and they told me I had a iPad Mini 1 and the cost to replace it with aftermarket glass was going to be $110. When I arrived at the store the associate told me that it look like I had an iPad Mini 2 and that it was going to be $120 plus tax. He looked at the model number and told me it was a Mini 2 and charge me $120 plus tax. Couple days later my wife looked at the model number on Apples website and it was a iPad Mini 1. RGV Device Doctors were charging only $80 to replace the glass. I feel like I got ripped off. I give them two stars. They did a pretty good job installing the glass. When the wife called then they offered a $10 in store credit she hung up on him. Just have trust issues with them when dealing with pricing. Wish I could have recommend them to other.

Smart Phone Medic is running an illegal scam operation. The owner Florentino Arias and his employees Pedro Hernandez & Roberto Barrera are running an illegal operation harvesting where they switch out your devices with non working ones. Dont be lied to.I bought in my iPhone 6S in which just needed a simple screen repaired. Paid them $200 for a screen replacement. One week later it dies and the entire thing does not turn on or charge. I bring it into the Apple store to get it examined. Turns out that they harvest all the internal components and replaced them Chinese knockoffs. UNBELIEVEABLE. Apple would not touch anything that has been tampered. Of course Smart Phone Medic denies all this. I ended up having to buy a new phone at full price.These guys have multiple locations. Avoid the Edinburg and McAllen Texas places just to name a few. I have read other peoples experiences where they did the same thing. They will rip you off and destroy your device with recourse. They need to be shut down.

Worst customer service ever!!! Avoid the Edinburg store at all costs. Took my sons phone to be fixed and the glass was replaced and then the camera didnt work. The glass started coming off almost immediately. After 2 weeks the glass came off completely and broke. When I took it in, the so called manager said since it was physical damage they could not fix it under warranty. Well there would not have been physical damage if the damn glass wouldnt have kept coming off! Then he says the frame of the phone was bent. It was like that when we brought it! That happened when the phone was initially dropped. Why dont you look at the phone before working on it and telling the customer if it can be fixed properly or not!? WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Wont back up their work. $140 down the drain. Dont waste your time or money.
