Customer service is non-existent. Dont waste your time. Staff is rude and has no sense of time management.

I went there for a simple inspection and my car had no issues. Somehow they want to find something that they can add charge/fees on. Suddenly Joe comes to me and says that my gas cap was leaking and needed to be replaced in order to pass inspection. I was charged over $70.00 for the part and labor. I thought it was way too much money. That day I realized I would never go back, because it’s obvious they use tactics to scam people out of money. So disappointed in that place. Overall, this review is to make other customers aware just in case you are there waiting on an inspection to be done. Had I known this when I was there, I would’ve just left or I should’ve declined and simply leave. If I were you, I would leave and go find another place elsewhere. It might take you a little bit longer to find one, but you will. Good luck if you stay.

I do not recommend this place at all. My first mediocre experience was good but when it came down to an expensive repair of the rack and pinion, serpentine belt and wheel alignment, my vehicle was left a mess. My vehicle was left in such a mess that it had to be taken in several times to try to be fixed and was even towed in to be reserviced. After numerous attempts at trying to get my vehicle fixed by them and much patience on my part, Joe became offensive at my simple reminding of my vehicle going on five weeks of not being attended to correctly. He responded by saying that my reminder was not appreciated and suggested I go elsewhere and blocked my responses even with my services being under warranty. Not the kind of place you want to go to. My vehicle was left a mess and I will never go there again. He really does have an arrogant personality and I wish that I would have read all his negative reviews before, but for some reason they did not all come up when I first read them. I did get to witness firsthand his arrogant attitude with another very nice family that went for service and I was really in shock as I believed this was a man of dignity but I was so wrong. In my opinion, this man didn’t care how safe my family came out at all. All he cared about was the money he made. Aside from this mess, my vehicle came back with an incredible number of miscellaneous scratches on my leather seats and numerous black marks that seem to be permanent marker after I complained about the scratches and tearings. Joe doesn’t seem to take complaints well at all regardless of your kindness and patience.

Been a long time customer to Joes Master Shop for going on 7 years and I still firmly believe he is one of the most genuine and best mechanics in South Texas. I had the valve cover gaskets replaced as well as the fuel pump on my v8 4Runner and has driven like a dream since picking it up w/o a returning check engine light. I wouldn’t have my vehicle serviced by anyone else other than Joe and his amazing team!!!

I took my truck because I had an engine problem he checked it, identified the issue and took care of it in no time.As soon as they identified what the issue was they provided me with an estimate that was completed in a timely manner.Highly satisfied with the service and and quality of the work, I totally recommend this business.

Beware of this business! They have horrible customer service and will not call you when they say they will. They wont tell you what work they are going to perform and slam you with a charge. When I asked why they didnt tell me what I would be charged they said, Well you didnt ask. HORRIBLE BUSINESS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Joe has poor customer service and also he discriminates against people of color he took one look at me and did not want to do my truck as inspection I recommend people do not go to him hes too arrogant has an ego

Mr. Joe is awesome. He has worked with me regarding appointments, parts, love that he does the job right the first time. I am going to give a honest my honest review. Lets go first with the service. The service and help is excellent. Second the prices are on par with dealers. Third, kwoledge of the cause of the vehicle malfunction from what he changed in my vehicle, he changed the o2 sensors he advices me to change the injectors, the intake manifold gaskets. And a few other sensors from the vehicle. And he returned me the truck and the problem persisted. So I took it back and that is when we changed the injectors so I went ahead and changed the coil packs also. Unfortunately I had to to take the vehicle out of the shop for personal reasons plus he could not have it ready by March Saturday 7 so I brought it home. And finished what the shop started. The truck is working on right now but it is still pulling codes on and off. Check engine come on the then goes out. I will have to see what codes will come up. But honestly guessing on parts is not good for a bussiness I did spend some money about 1.5K so in my honest opinion take it to the dealer and dont waste your money here.

Every time Ive been to this place, Ive had to replace the card I used there due to fraudulent activity days later. I dont think its a coincidence. BEWARE!!!

Overpriced, and hidden fees

They literally punched a hole in my radiator. It wasn’t leaking before then all of sudden after i take it there my radiator is messed up. No water could be held inside. After fixing it myself. I fond a blade inside the radiator among with duck tape they used to repair am elelectial issue i had taken my car in for.

This is a bad place to do business. I was here waiting for about 15 min when another car pulls up and Joes people starts inspecting their car and completely forgets about me. So then I ask how much longer. Doesnt even apologize says another 20 min. Im a small business owner my self and I consider that bad business. Go to Pueplo for inspections and nietos for your mechanics need they are reliable.

Quick and easy inspections..

We came from Michigan and rented a UHaul from Joes to go back. Without Joes help we wouldnt have been able to go home. Super friendly and efficient staff. I was looking for a place to get my car inspected. First I took appointment at Premium Automotive on McColl. When I reached there on the scheduled time, he turned me away saying there are no techs. Then I called Joe. He told me to bring it in. Even though he is allowed to charge only $7.00 for inspection, Joe was happy to do it even though I had no appointment. I give Thumbs up for Joes Shop.

Went in for a smart start device came out with car idling erratically owner denied having caused the problem took car elsewhere got charges again and respectable tech showed me where they ran power cars tp.box uninsulated and through the sharp opening through the firewall without a grommet also ripped the master cylinder boot threw out my brake fluid ruined my engine and transmission still denied having done anything wrong Ive had that car for years and not even a month later after they touch it needs not motor.and transmission now car still.isnt running right not from engine or.trsns but from the box they installed they dont k is how to diagnose just replace parts and are even bad at that very ride and very disrespectful and unprofessional will never own up to their mistakes Im glad Im not the only one who has the same opinion about this place oh but they still wanna charge an arm and a leg btw my car has been sitting there for over a month smh but my court date is comimg.up and if this issue doesnt get resolved this wont be the last they hear from.me or my lawyer

Took my car to get an oil pan changed next thing you know my car is making noises it never made before, has scratches that werent there my window wash fluid dont work no more and it started leaking antifreeze after being on the red for 40 minutes... If your going to spend money spend it sum where else save yourself the trouble.... Joe Masters is just a money hungry mechanic that takes advantage of people.
