Stopped by your E. Providence location to purchase a cell phone mount. Adams recommendations where excellent. I was told the mount needed to be ordered and it would take a week to receive. The case arrived 2 business days later. Adam gave me all the time I needed to discuss electric bikes. I found him very knowledgeable, patient, and eager to learn about my riding style. Trek Bicycle was excellent, they turned my bike around overnight for a trip, and even called a bike shop where I was headed to help me get a part they didnt have in stock. Id highly recommend.

Noah was very helpful and even though they didnt have or carry what I was looking for he was very helpful in finding something for me.

The bikes are great and the store is easy to access coming from the North or South. BUT best of all is the staff- friendly and knowledgeable. I purchased my bike with the help of Tom Riley in East Providence...and I felt like he was guiding me to what was best for me (versus the sale for the sake of a sale). I will return and I will recommend this store to anyone who asks.

NBX Bikes of East Providence is formally East Providence Cycle. Although the name changed youll find employees that have worked there 17 years and they know bikes. A good selection of well made road, cruising and mountain bikes. The bike repair and service here is outstanding. Good selection clothes, bike helmets and gear. And Bike Rentals! All summer long!

When I telephoned, service person was pleasant and helpful; didnt just say he had what I was calling about, but took the time to check. Service person was also pleasant and helpful when I arrived at the store.

I just cannot say enough great things about Trek, the staff, and the service technicians. I have been to MANY bike shops, and I have not received the level of customer service from any of them in a way that even comes close to what I get from Trek. Not to mention, the pricing is also incredibly fair. Trek will be the only place I go in the future for anything bike-related, period.

My son was looking for a new mountain bike. He did his research ahead of time to find a bike that was going to fit his riding needs. We expected to have to possibly order one or wait until manufacturing increased to be able to find one that he liked that was within his price range. We were pleasantly surprised to find one of the bikes his was looking for at Trek Bicycle East Providence. The sales associate Andrew was very helpful. He adjusted the seat length to better fit his frame on an XL bike and attached the water bottle holder for him as well. He also explained all the services that they offered to help keep the bike in good working shape. Overall, a very good experience. We would highly recommend their shop to anyone looking for a good bike.

Knowledgeable. Went in there with my bosses bike to be fixed not knowing whats up or down in the world of fixing bikes but the young guy put it up on the bike lift lol and spun the wheel looked at the chain and said you need this and should be all. So ill be picking it up later this week and will give another final review on there quality after. But as I know now there quick and Knowledgeable about the service of bikes. If you need yours fixed head on to there. And they work on all makes.

Good selection of cycling kit, gear, and everything bike related. While Trek carries mostly Bontrager gear, for obvious reasons. Bontrager gear is top notch stuff though. Always friendly staff to help you out on your cycling adventure.

I have been to this store 3 times in the past few months. Every experience has been exceptional, what a small specialty store experience should be! Extremely knowledgeable, attentive and helpful staff. Not pushy, but patiently answered all my questions! It was worth the 45 minute drive (even though there are shops closer to my house).

I worked with Jason on the sale of the bike who was awesome. I was traveling back to NY the following day but he was able to make the installation happen quickly. I picked up the bike the next day and was able to surprise my daughter who was super excited. Jason informed me about a local Trek dealership in my hometown that I could bring the bike for the free tune up that came with the sale. Due to the pandemic, the service on my bike went much longer than anyone expected due to backorders for parts. Having said that, these guys went beyond what I expected them to do with my bike. Very knowledgeable and they take care of their customers!

Ryley is the best! Helped me out with a couple repairs, got me in and out same day, and was even able to get some of the work done under warranty!

Undoubtedly they’ve high quality products, but our customer service experience was unpleasant and disappointing. We decided to stop by this shop on our initial bike search for my husband. He thought he wanted a mountain bike, so that was the first thing we inquired about and the employee’s response to any product we mentioned started with a price tag, which we considered discriminative. Ultimately, we weren’t even able to get a bike because the only one he liked wasn’t available, but we were disappointed to have received that kind of attention.

ZERO STARS. Not only did this place take my bikes hostage for weeks without servicing them or calling me. (All I needed done was 3 new bike tubes and a new chain on a single speed bike.) But they returned one bike with brakes that screech as loud as fireworks, so loud that I have to ride with earplugs on.And and DO NOT bother calling or even leaving messages on their machine. They NEVER answer the phone at ANY of their locations or respond to ANY messages left on their machine.Worst experience ever with any bike service place. I wonder if theyll finally get this message?!

I bought my first bike in over 10 years from NBX. I honestly only had a vague idea of what I was looking for, and a mechanic actually helped me walk through the entire process.I ran in there about a half hour before close, I was rushing (I didnt want to be THAT customer) but he was completely focused on making sure I was happy with my decision. He helped me choose the right size, and the right bike for me. Im extremely happy with my purchase.

After years of biking on the East Bay Bike Path, I decided to step into the shop back in 2007 and I bought myself a globe street bike, specialized and obviously, the parts for this are no longer available, but I have to say, the best bike for the price and I have been here several months ago just to look around and to get a couple of tubes, obviously, the staff changed a little bit, but other than that, still the same consistent customer service value and some of the newer bikes have me really enthralled... they are extremely convenient, if your car broke down and you were at the bike path, you could walk here, unless you have a disability like myself, then, it would be a short bus ride😊. I look forward to getting my bike refurbished that has been in the rain for the last year-and-a-half, had a severe accident in 2017 and the bike is fine, it just needs a few parts replaced and I know that this team will make it happen for less than the price of the bike back in 2007👍👍👍👍

I have bought a couple Trek mountain bikes from NBX in the past. When they didnt have the exact bike I was looking for ie. model, color, size etc. in stock they have always gone to great lengths to help me find the bike I was looking for. Sometimes this meant sending me to another Trek dealer out of state. I really appreciate NBXs friendly staff and the lengths they have gone to to help me out, this has been my experience at all 4 of NBX locations in RI. This past week I bought a 2020 Roscoe 7 for my son, the 130mm dropper seatpost was a bit too tall for him fully extended so I requested a swap to the next shorter 100mm dropper. NBXs Manager Matt gladly approved the swap. Thank you NBX for being the best bike shop in New England! NBX is my bike shop for life...

I just purchased a new mountain bike from NBX of East Providence. The staff there are outstanding, knowledgeable and friendly. I purchased my bike and dealt directly with Jason Shuford. For all your mountain bike needs this shop and Jason are top shelf. Jason is extremely knowledgeable and patient; he spent hours/days answering my numerous questions and guiding me through the process. Overall I am extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a bike.

You will not ever regret your experience at this bike shop! Professional, kind, experts in the field (and mountains...and roads!). They have plenty of employees to make you feel comfortable and address your needs right away and it is a super family-friendly atmosphere. They take their time with you and genuinely seem interested in educating and sustaining a positive experience for the biker. I tell everyone I know about this place and spending time there today just solidified my business for as long as they’ll have us! Happily shop here for my biking needs. Easy access from RIPTA routes 32 or 34. Have to say I dont see a bike rack for customers here, like I do at the Providence NBX shop. Not much parking. I wouldnt want to park the wheelchair lift van here. Lots of people park in the medical building lot next door. (Doubt the staff at that building are too keen on that.) There isnt much in the way of safe space to really test ride. But you can get a reasonable feel for a bike with the safe space that is available. I recommend coming for test rides on the weekend when the medical building is closed. The customer service cannot be surpassed, in my opinion.

Very friendly staff. Knowledgeable on the different bikes. But be prepared for more expensive high end bikes. But they did say with good maintenance the bikes should last twenty years. So you get what you pay for.

Hello.On 6/15/2019 my wife, my 9 month old infant son and myself set out to buy myself a bike. My wife revealed to me it was her wish to buy me a bike as my Fathers day gift.I was touched by the gesture but insisted that it was too expensive and I did not need the bike. My wife insisted as our other children already have bikes and it was a fun activity for our family to do together.My first thought was to look at nbx bikes in East Providence as they have high quality bicycles and I have already been there to check out bikes a year or two ago.While the stock has changed I recall a bike priced at roughly $400 dollars. I even took a picture of it and saved at to my wish-list file in my home computer.Unfortunately I did not bring the picture with me and was not prepared to show the salesperson what bike I was speaking of as I wanted to check on its availability?As the salesperson tended to other activities I search the general area where I initially saw the bike and only found bikes listed from $499 and up.When the salesperson returned I asked if any of these bikes were in the $400 price range? He seemed annoyed and walked with me stating that the cheapest bike he has is listed at $539. He proceeded to cut off the price tag assuming I have not seen it on the bike priced at $499. I asked to see the price tag that was crunched in his hand and as he reluctantly opened his hand it revealed the $499 price tag I saw minutes before.He looked embarrassed and claimed that the prices have just gone up as Donald Trump has implemented tariffs on Mexico creating higher prices on his bicycles.I politely avoided confrontation and grabbed my wife and infant son and left there immediately. I told my wife that I am not a perfect person but have a sense of honor that I do not believe that sales person has.I have never seen someone in my 41 years take a price tag off right in front of me and add a higher price to their product.In will neverbshop there again.That sales person at NBX should be ashamed of himself.

Matt was very knowledgeable about their inventory and allowed me to take a few bikes out for a test ride. Staff is friendly and took the stress out of purchasing a new bike.
