This location is one of the better public storages in the area. It is consistently well kept from the landscaping to merely having clean roads. In addition to the superb sanitation, the customer service is great. The manager of this property, Anna, never fails to make each process and interaction smooth and easy. There could not be better trained staff. Keep up the good work and we all appreciate your service!

Ann is a very personable person. She explained the complete rental to a friend looking for a unit asap. He even rented one from her that day. Saying she explained the sizes, the security, hours of the gate. He said that she made him feel like he was talking with an old friend. Ive gotta say this storage is one of the best storages Ive had . Anna is Wonderful, very nice and she makes sure this location is safe at all times. I have to say I was not really having a good day last week so I came here to just go through some things in my storage bt I couldnt stop crying as soon as she saw me she told me that its going to be all right than gave me five mins of her time and just by doing that I felt so much better. Horrible experience.The space we reserved was full of garbage, and other items when we first move in. The elevator didn’t works delaying our moving of 1-2hours. The gate opens at 6am and even if you call them, they don’t answer before 6am. It has been such an horrible experience.And the customer service was the worst ever. Bot helpful at all.Use a different service if possible

In the past 10 years Ive been to enough storages where I feel that I could speak with some certainty and experience from many of the different companies who have storage places within the Bay area from corporations to Mom and Pop Ive rented some of the best and the worst. When my move came up this time there was no units available anywhere the only one was in East Palo Alto. I was reluctant at first to do that it was too small a unit I was going to have to move again and just a number of things were uphill for me including I didnt even have the dollar moving money but by the grace of God it raised 34 bucks at night or whatever it was and I moved in through a kiosk. I was really unsure about the area and everything else then I meant Anna. I meant my share of management from corporation down to the mom and pop as I said but Ive never met a more accommodating manager and management team no matter what comes out then they pull together and they handle it and get this job done. My head is off today especially to Anna this is a wonderful woman with a big heart a mother whos working a full-time job against a lot of odds and handle everything in a very professional level of expertise but in a way that was kind of homemade in her own so it was very refreshing. Well it is a business it has never lost its feeling that there are friends here and to me thats important which makes them an asset to the company or to any management team when an individual can realize that within business there are people and a little business and pleasure dont mix theres a fine line between them you have to know the boundaries where and when to apply certain restrictions or pressures to keep business as business people as clients and acknowledge them as human beings who like myself can be perfectly imperfect and need the suggestion now and then my head is off to this team youll have no problems with Anna or the entire management team down here in East Palo Alto they are the friendliest group of professionals Ive ever dealt who blender expertise to make things happen I cant explain it until you experience it for yourself. So long as theyre here I will probably stay if I need the storage but I am hoping to get into another house here real soon! Wasted a bunch of my time. I went online to reserve a unit. Once I did, I got a call saying to go ahead to the kiosk here to finish. At the kiosk, they said the reservation I made, that unit had already been sold to someone else. Like the Seinfeld episode! Long story short, 4-5 calls from the kiosk where the machine kept hanging up on me. Very frustrating!The lovely lady Elsie at 1985 E Bayshore, down the road was able to help get my set up right after going there. She was great,. Public storage on, the other hand, is a necessary evil.

THE WORST!Our unit(and 6 more) has been broken into, EVERYTHING was STOLEN. And nobody even noticed that. When theyd finally found a broken lock on the floor after a week since break-in, they just put a new one and didnt notify us.Police couldnt get camera records from them for weeks!Manager Farzaneh Yountchi gave us her business card but never answered our emails.And the worst. The police found out that the burglar has rented a unit right there, has been sleeping there, using drugs, smoking, sorting stolen stuff. And nobody even noticed that!There is total chaos in this storage. Not recommended if you expect to pick up your stuff from storage again.

Anna was super helpful last week. I was considering moving out due to rate increases. Anna submitted a request to get the rent reduced and it was approved. YAY, very happy not to have to move. Tip: you can pre-pay for the year to avoid rental increases.

My dad and I rented this unit for a month while I was home from college. The facility was great and Margaret was fantastic. My dad needed to arrive from Alaska and move all my stuff in a rented car over the period of just one day, and Margaret even changed her lunch hour to meet my dad and get him set up with my unit. The unit was safe and clean, and the move in process was a breeze. When we returned a month later to move my stuff out, we again had a very limited amount of time, and Margaret was again really helpful. She was a really nice person to deal with and very professional. She did all she could to help us get situated and the whole process was very straightforward. The price was also really outstanding. Margaret is amazing! Very friendly and helpful. I had a 12 hour long move and she helped me with everything from saving parking for my truck, telling me where the nearest store was located for drinks, to providing paper towels to wipe down some belongings. She checked in on my crew and me through the day. This has been by far the best customer service experience I’ve ever had. She is just the sweetest person. I cant say enough about how great Margaret was! I was helping a friend look for storage and her facility seemed to have the best rates for the size storage I was looking for plus it had the first month for $1 special. When I went there, she was very personable, friendly, and professional right from the start. She took the time to show me two different units, and helped me decide which one would fit my needs best. I set up a move in time for the next day at 10:00 am. Unfortunately, that morning I decided that perhaps a storage in San Francisco would suit my friend better, rather than Palo Alto. When I let Margaret know that I was cancelling, she was not annoyed in the least, she actually asked how she could be most helpful in making this work for us! I had a concern about payment terms at the new facility I was looking at and she took the time to investigate personally and call me back with very accurate information which was exactly what I needed to know. I feel like she didnt have to do anything else for me after I cancelled my unit at her location, but she went above and beyond any kind of customer service I have almost ever experienced in any business, seriously! I called her to let her know that everything worked out at the new location, and she was genuinely happy that she could be helpful. I got a good deal on storage, which is what its really all about. More than that, these guys are pros and treated me great -- it only took a half hour to get all set up when I showed up there (bring a lock with you when you first go). But what I really loved was that when I vacated the unit one night after office hours, they called ME the next morning to let me know that based on their daily lock check, it appears I had vacated the night before. So not only did I not have to go back in to do a formal check out, it proved to me that they are really on it when it comes to security. Would definitely recommend this place to others

Perfect location for Stanford students in need of summer storage off campus. Margaret got me and my roommates in great shape. Super friendly, helpful, and great customer service. The space is affordable for its size and well maintained. Great security measures too.

I have had a great experience storing my stuff while I was living out of the country. Ive received great service from everyone, and most recently from the District Manager, Ms. Yountchi. She provided great customer service and made my departure as pleasing as when I first started renting storage from PS. I still highly recommend this specific location, even thought its now Self Service (there are customer service people at the other locations, almost next door). Thank you, Public Storage!This was the second time I was using Public Storage on East Bayshore. This time, Margaret helped me secure a new unit, strategize the move out of the larger unit and how to optimize my process. The paperwork was painless and Margaret was able to answer all my questions. She was detailed and conscientious about all steps. I would recommend this location.

This location has been my preferred storage facility tho I have since moved out of the area. Ive been here several years and the site is always clean and well-maintained, Margaret has been a great help when it came to understanding and planning for the storage plan options. Shes very personable, so I can understand the other comments regarding going above and beyond. I recently lost a key. Simple issue, but still not pretty. I didnt want to bring my tools onsite to a public storage facility (no pun). We got my problem resolved quickly which is exactly what I wanted.

I (and the organization whose archives we store at this facility) continue to be grateful and delighted with the caring attention given us by Margaret, the office manager here at Public Storage. Not long ago, she secured a larger unit at a lower price, and she has been most helpful suggesting how to keep our rates as low as company policy allows. If youre looking for storage space at this facility, make an effort to be there when Margarets on desk.

Great Costumer Service

Rented a large unit on the first floor with no issues. When I misplaced my key for the lock, it was easy to replace it. Everything was clean, dry, and they added rat poison. Also, when the light went out, they replaced it quickly. Recently moved to another smaller unit and this transfer was really smooth. I got a refund on the part of the month of the large unit I didnt use. Margaret is very efficient, made sure that everything was working, and explained all the details of my recent transfer. The units are clean and bright. I do wish there was a light in my smaller unit. Ill bring a flashlight next time.

Margaret was extremely helpful! She was able to answer all of my questions about the unit and made the entire process hassle-free. Definitely would recommend. Also was able to pick up some boxes here for when I need to store my things for the summer.

The hours are far above average and the location is very convenient. The rates are very good, but be aware that you will be required to purchase insurance for at least $9 a month (that covers $2000 value)
